LIBERALISM, MULTICULTURALISM &
THE "NEW YORK / JERUSALEM AXIS"
by: S.R. Shearer
It is not our purpose here to dwell at great length on the impact of
the Jewish community's liberal policies on the Orthodox and Islamic
worlds. Suffice it to be said that the right-wing, fundamentalist propaganda
being produced out of both civilizations (i.e., Orthodoxy and the Islamic
world) names the Jews as the main force behind the globalist (i.e.,
multicultural or liberal) effort to diminish the religious aspects of
their civilizations. Interestingly, in the propaganda that's being generated
in both the Orthodox and Islamic civilizations, the United States has
been painted as the main force behind these efforts - a country which
has fallen under the impress of a Jewish clique which operates out of
New York and Jerusalem - a cabal of intriguers pushing a secular multiculturalism
which is aiming to take control of the world using the United States
as its "springboard."
And this is precisely what right-wing elements in the West (i.e., in
Germany, France, Austria, etc.) are are saying also. To be sure, code
words like "liberal" and "multiculturalism" are used, but the meaning
is clear - the Jews have captured control of America and are using it
to impose a stifling form of secularism and multiculturalism in Europe,
North America, and the world at large.
For
example, Jacob Heilbrunn writes in Foreign Affairs, "A change
(in attitude towards the United States) is taking place in Germany ...
at the intellectual level. Whether or not it turns into a political
movement or is taken up by one of the established political parties,
this change will have a serious impact on Germany's redefinition of
its identity ... Underlying ... (this change) is a deep hatred of the
... (secularism that Germany has been laboring under, largely as a result
of the) ... influence of the United States over the last five decades.
The advent of an American-style (secular) multicultural society is perceived
to pose a great threat to (the German people's) 'Germanness'. Hatred
of the United States* is what binds the right nationalists and defectors
from the left who make up the movement." ["Germany's New Right," in
Foreign Affairs, November/December, 1996, pg. 81.]
Mainstream newspapers and magazines like Die Zeit and Frankfurter
Algemeine are getting on board. Karlheinz Weismann, one of Germany's
new right intellectuals, writes: "It's all going much more quickly than
people realize." Heilbrunn, commenting on Weismann, claims that those
who constitute the core of this new movement (estimated by some to be
as large as 20% of the German electorate) believe that - "No longer
will Germany by tyrannized into putting up with an American version
of a multicultural society. They will return to their traditional (i.e.,
Christian and nationalist) values."
It's precisely this kind of thinking that's spreading everywhere
throughout Western Civilization, Orthodoxy and the Islamic world - a
growing hatred of liberalism and multiculturalism which has begun to
permeate these three great civilizations - and the connections that
the fundamentalist champions of each of these civilizations make between
liberalism and the Jewish community is clear to anyone willing to take
the time to study the matter.
