A DISASTER IS STALKING
OBAMA IN THE MIDDLE EAST

INTRODUCTION

As we have suggested in previous articles, we are - prophetically speaking - in an "IN-BETWEEN TIME;" a period when time has apparently gone into slow motion; and it's anyone's guess how long this period will last. It's a twilight time full of indistinct shapes and blurry shadows; of swirling phantasms and spinning apparitions that seem to bring only confusion and uncertainty insofar as the "end of days" is concerned.

It's a phase that we have been in ever since U.S. forces (the military forces of "Prophetic Babylon") entered Iraq (the land of "Ancient Babylon") and established PERMANENT bases there (2003), and it will not end until the coming of the Antichrist on the eve of the Gog/Magog War. ADDING TO THE SEEMING
CONFUSION OF THE MOMENT

Moreover, the election of Barack Obama to the presidency has only added to the seeming confusion of the moment; after all Obama is no Right-Wing religious conservative; he has no connection to the "Apostate Church" - something which the Bible is "ABSOLUTE" about. NOTE: In this connection, it is necessary that we remind ourselves what "APOSTASY" is all about: "Apostasy" is not necessarily false doctrine; neither is it manifestly connected to carnality. If that were the case, then most of the leaders of today's American church would be correct in connecting the Antichrist to a "New Age" religion of one sort or another; and not only to the "New Age," but also to what they see as the "carnality" of the Liberal Left; but apostasy is not essentially associated with any of these things; it is - in the first instance - a "FALLING AWAY" from something or somewhere; specifically, the Bible says:

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day [i.e., the day of the rapture and the resurrection] shall not come, except there come a FALLING AWAY [i.e. apostasia (Gk.) or 'apostasy'] first ..." (2 Thess. 2:3)

Naturally enough, the question arises, a "falling away" from what? - From "the faith!" (1 Timothy 4:1). The Bible says:

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART FROM THE FAITH, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils ..." (1 Tim. 4:1) [This is explicitly the kind of Christianity that we discuss in our articles, "Luciferic Christianity" and "The God-Men of America's New World Order System."]

Now I ask you, How is it possible for someone to "FALL AWAY" from something or from somewhere he was never at before? - And surely the "leftist" adherents of the "New Age" were never affiliated with the "Kingdom of Christ;" and the same can be said concerning the phrase, "DEPARTING FROM THE FAITH!" How is possible to depart from somewhere one has never been before? Obviously, then, the entity the Bible is speaking about in 2 Thess. 2:3 and 1 Tim. 4:1 can only be the false church we described in our articles, "Luciferic Christianity" and "The God-Men of America's New World Order System;" please also see our article, "Apostasy: Christianity in the Service of a Religio-Political-Corporate-Terrorist State."]

And it's not just the election of Obama to the presidency that is adding to the "befuddlement" of the moment, but also the assertion by many of today's political pundits that America is losing its position of preeminence in the world - assertions that are connected to the present financial crisis and to the much-talked-about collapse of America's "Big Three" auto-makers. But America's economic preeminence is no longer connected to its manufacturing base, and has not been for some time now; it is connected to the "TRIBUTE SYSTEM" it has imposed on the rest of the world at the point of a gun, much in the same fashion that ancient Rome did 2,300 years ago. Moreover, the assertion that the E.U. is in the process of supplanting America is patently absurd; and that is even more the case with China, which has been reduced to nothing more than a U.S. client-state. CONSTANTS

With the above "constants" in mind - and we speak here of the certainty that (1) the Antichrist MUST emanate out of a relationship with Religious Right conservatives (which would eliminate Obama from consideration), and that (2) the U.S. is patently (unquestionably) the "Prophetic Babylon" of the "end of days" - much of the confusion surrounding us at this present moment can be shown to be shadows having no basis in reality.

THIS IS THE GREAT VALUE OF THAT "SURE WORD OF PROPHECY" THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF IN 2 PETER 1:19. It is to us "a light that shineth in a dark place," and that's surely where we are in the "end of days" - a dark place!

In addition to the two "constants" enumerated above, we can be ABSOLUTELY sure of the identity of the "Super Church" that will arise in the "end of days" - It is the American Church, which is indissolubly co-related to the American New World Order System [Please see our articles, "Christians in Africa: Awake!" and "The American Empire: The Corporate / Pentagon / CIA / Missionary Archipelago."]

NOTE: The fact that it's "final ascendancy" to power in the U.S. has been delayed for a short while because of the Obama interregnum IS SOMETHING FOR WHICH WE CAN BE GRATEFUL, for that would greatly hinder the work to which we have been called; it would catalyze a great persecution against us for which we are today ill-prepared:

"Take heed to yourselves: For they [the leaders of the Apostate Church] shall deliver you up to councils [church councils much like the church councils the Catholic Church instituted against so-called "heretics" during the Inquisition]; and in the synagogues [their churches] ye shall be beaten ..." And isn't this exactly what the leaders of today's apostate church would like to do to all those who oppose them? - For example, Rick Joyner writes:

"Some pastors and leaders who continue to resist us must be removed from their place."

And Francis Frangipane writes:

"... [T]here will be many 'stumbling blocks' circulating in the church ... Those serving in leadership must trust their discernment and REMOVE these 'stumbling blocks'." [Please see our article, "Today's Church: Making Zombies out of Christians - the Apostles and Prophets Movement."]

Shadows and shades of the Inquisition! - In this connection we must remember what prophecy is all about: It is, as we have said so many times before, like a road-sign telling us that there is a "blind curve" ahead (a curve that we cannot at the moment see) and to slow down; if we fail to do so, we will surely slide off the road and crash. Obviously, then, when we fail to take advantage of the time between when we see the road-sign and when we finally see the "blind curve," we defeat the entire purpose of that road-sign and - ipso facto - of prophecy. It's not without reason that Jesus said:

"I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" (John 9:41) - and while Christ was speaking here of Himself, this advise applies equally to us (His disciples).

SO THEN ...

So, then, we have these three "constants" to guide us; we know -

• The identity of "Prophetic Babylon."

• The identity of the "Apostate Church."

• And the fact that the Antichrist MUST emanate out of a relationship with these two entities - i.e., "Prophetic Babylon" and the "Apostate Church."

These "constants" are to us "lights that shineth in a dark place." They help us to distinguish between events that are important insofar as the "end of the age" is concerned, and events that are not; what is the truth, and what is nothing more than the vain babbling of nincompoops posing as "teachers of the Word" - people about whom Jesus said:

"They be blind leaders of the blind; both they and those who listen to them shall fall into a ditch." (Matthew 15:14) [Please see Chapter IX of the NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS for a more detailed description of the events of the "end of the age," "The Course and Character of the 'Last Days'."]

BE CAREFUL - ALL THIS DOES
NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE SAFE

And there is something more that we need to be careful about while we are yet in the "IN-BETWEEN TIME" - and that is to believe that during this relatively small interval of time we are at least "safe" for the moment; but while that may be true physically (provided one doesn't take into account the world's collapsing financial situation and the impact that it will eventually have on every one of us), it surely is not true spiritually, especially for those who live in the United States.

Why is that? - Because, as we have indicated on so many previous occasions, a process is "afoot" in this country that is transforming its citizens (Christians and non-Christians alike) into MONSTERS who have been "qualified" to serve HELL. And one would do well NOT to overestimate his ability to resist being subsumed by this diabolical process, as some who have been very tightly associated with this ministry have done and are doing. In connection with this, one should remember the words of Jesus to those who fail Him as His ministers, and "FALL AWAY:"

"Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

"And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

"His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

"Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

"Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

"For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

"AND CAST YE THE UNPROFITABLE SERVANT INTO OUTER DARKNESS: THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH." (Matthew 24-30)

And what about the dire warning of Paul to his disciples? -

"For it is IMPOSSIBLE for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

"And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

"If they shall FALL AWAY, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." (Hebrews 6:4-6)

Now, these are very, very HARD sayings; but there they are, in black and white. One would be well advised not to be too cavalier about them; too quick to "explain" them away AS NOT MEANING WHAT THEY SO PLAINLY MEAN.

A GREAT DISTURBANCE: DISASTER IS
STALKING OBAMA IN THE MIDDLE EAST

And now we come to the place in which the "IN-BETWEEN TIME" that we are currently in is slated to come to an end: The Middle East!

We begin with the talk of the liberal media concerning Obama's ostensible support of Israel, talk which is calculated to "tamp down" fears that his administration will be "pro-Arab." Those responsible for such talk support their contention by recourse to Obama's choice for "Chief of Staff" at the White House: Rahm Emanuel, a Jew. They point to a comment made by Rahm's father, Dr. Benjamin Emanuel, who predicted his son's impact on an Obama administration:

"Obviously he will influence the president to be pro-Israel. Why wouldn't he be? What is he, an Arab? He's not going to clean the floors of the White House." (Ma'ariv, 6 Nov. 2008)

NOTE: Dr. Benjamin Emanuel is a former arms smuggler for the Irgun, a pre-Israel "terrorist group" which carried out numerous attacks against the British and the Palestinians prior to Israel's independence (1948). The Irgun was responsible for the 1946 bombing of Jerusalem's King David Hotel - which did more than anything else to drive the British out of Palestine.

Commenting on the choice of Emmanuel for such a powerful place in the Obama Administration, Rannie Amiri, an Arab commentator, writes dejectedly:

"History will record the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign to have been one in which American Arabs and Muslims were politically marginalized, ostracized and disparaged like no time before. Contrary to initial expectations, those bruised sensibilities are unlikely to find in President-elect Barack Obama the salve so desperately needed."

And it's not just the choice of Emmanuel that concerns Amiri; Amiri goes on to list what he sees as additional "pro-Israel" politicians who have been chosen or who are in the process of being "vetted" for high positions in the Obama Administration: Dennis Ross, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton and even Joe Lieberman.

APPEARANCES CAN BE DECEPTIVE

But appearances can be very deceptive - and that's especially true of Obama. Dr. Rashid Khalidi, a good friend of the Obama family and a renowned professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University (and someone Sarah Palin has labeled an "Arab extremist"), writes about those who "think" they know what Obama is "really" thinking after coming away from a conversation with him:

"They may come away thinking, 'Wow, he agrees with me'. But later, when they get home and think about it, they are not sure."

The fact is, Palin is inextricably bound up with such "Christian God-Men" as Rick Joyner, David Brickner, Robert Stearns, Mike Bickle, Reuven Doron, Che Ahn, Frank Hammond, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, John Eckhardt, Bobbie Byerly, etc. [Please see our article, "The Supermen Theology of the International Christian Embassy's Feast of Tabernacles" for an exposition of the theology (eschatology) that is driving Palin and those associated with her in the Religious Right.]

ROBERT MALLEY

The fact is, Rahm Emmanuel is NOT Obama's chief advisor for Middle Eastern Affairs; Robert Malley is - although Obama has been careful to keep Malley in the "background." Ed Laskey writes on Malley:

"A little family history may be in order to understand the genesis of Robert Malley's views. Normally, one should be reluctant in exploring a person's family background - after all, who would want to be held responsible for the sins of one's father? However, when close relatives share a strong current of ideological affinity, and when a father has a commanding persona, it behooves a researcher to inquire a bit into the role of family in forming views. That said, Robert Malley has a very interesting father.

"His father Simon Malley was born to a Syrian family in Cairo and at an early age found his métier in political journalism. He participated in the wave of anti-imperialist and nationalist ideology that was sweeping the Third World. He wrote thousands of words in support of struggle against Western nations. In Paris, he founded the journal Afrique Asie; he and his magazine became advocates for "liberation" struggles throughout the world, particularly for the Palestinians.

"Simon Malley LOATHED Israel, and anti-Israel activism became a crusade for him. He spent countless hours with Yasser Arafat and became a close friend of Arafat. He was, according to Daniel Pipes, a sympathizer of the Palestinian Liberation Organization --- and this was when it was at the height of its terrorism wave against the West. His efforts were so damaging to France that President Valerie d'Estaing expelled him from the country." [For information on Daniel Pipes, please see our article, "The Neo-Conservatives."]

Laskey continues:

"[Robert] Malley has seemingly followed in his father's footsteps: he represents the next generation of anti-Israel activism. Through his writings he has served as a willing propagandist, bending the truth (and more) to serve an agenda that is marked by anti-Israel bias; he heads a group of Middle East policy advisers for a think-tank funded (in part) by anti-Israel billionaire activist George Soros ... Each step up the ladder seems to be a step closer towards his goal of empowering radicals and weakening the ties between America and our ally Israel."

NOTE: Laskey is as much a virulent HATER of all things Arab as Malley is of all things pertaining to Israel; he is involved in a particularly insidious effort to paint the Muslim community as an "ENEMY ABSOLUTE" THAT SHOULD BE EXTERMINATED IN THE SAME MANNER ONE WOULD EXTERMINATE A NEST OF SNAKES. Nonetheless, Laskey's assessment insofar as Robert Malley's dislike of Israel is concerned is quite accurate. OBAMA'S CONNECTIONS TO THE ARAB
WORLD VIA HIS ROOTS IN SOUTH CHICAGO

And it's not just Malley; there are many others just like Malley, and all of them reach back to Obama's formative years on the south side of Chicago where Obama's world-view (Weltanschauung) was initially formed. Take, for example, Obama's links to Chicago lawyer Mazen Asbahi, who was appointed national coordinator for Muslim American affairs by the Obama campaign on July 26 and who was later forced to step down after The Wall Street Journal reported on his connection to Jamal Said, the imam of a fundamentalist-controlled mosque in Illinois, the Bridgeview Mosque in Bridgeview, Ill. (just outside Chicago). 

The eight-year-old connection between Mr. Asbahi (Obama's friend of many years) and Mr. Said was raised by the Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Report, which is published by a Washington think tank and chronicles the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide fundamentalist group based out of Egypt. The Justice Department has named Mr. Said an unindicted co-conspirator in the racketeering trial last year of several alleged Hamas fund-raisers, which ended in a mistrial. Then, of course, there is the matter of Rashid Khalidi himself, no friend of Israel: Khalidi is the co-founder of an Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a CATASTROPHE; he is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror, and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group. And there are many others, among whom are Minha Husaini, Nihad Awad, etc. - all of whom are tied to the same Leftist, anti-Israel groups that Obama became intimate with during his formative years in the South-Side of Chicago.

It is as difficult to believe that Obama did not imbibe intensely in these "deep cisterns" of "ISRAEL-HATE" as it is hard to believe that he did not drink deeply of the anti-American rhetoric of his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright; and while we in Antipas would find it easy to agree with the conclusions of many of these groups regarding the BRUTALITY and HORROR of the American Empire, it would be less than honest for us not to admit their anti-American and anti-Jewish biases. NOTE: The Rev. Jeremiah Wright emanates out of a black consensus among African-American Christians that is anti-Jewish and sees the worldwide Arab community as a persecuted group much in the same fashion as is the black community. It sees nothing fundamentally wrong with allying itself with Louis Farrakhan's anti-American, anti-Jewish Nation of Islam. It was the water from these anti-Jewish, pro Arab cisterns that Obama drank long before he had any real connection to Rahm Emanuel, and it is easy to believe that when "push comes to shove" in the Middle East, Obama will not succumb to these biases.

ISRAEL MUST LEARN TO GET ALONG
WITH A NUCLEAR-ARMED IRAN

Moreover, it's not just those of us in Antipas that are cognizant of this reality; former United Nations ambassador Thomas Pickering and James Dobbins, a top diplomatic troubleshooter under former president Bill Clinton believe that Obama is prepared to "open the door to direct, unconditional and comprehensive negotiations at the senior diplomatic level" with Iran and other nations inimical to the continued survival of Israel - even if it means tolerating an Iran armed with nuclear weapons.  They write approvingly:

"Paradoxical as it may seem amid all the heated media rhetoric, sustained engagement [with Iran] is far more likely to strengthen United States national security at this stage than either escalation to war or continued efforts to threaten, intimidate or coerce Iran."

Both Pickering and Dobbins assail what they call "myths" regarding the Middle East - among which is the "myth" that Israel could not survive alongside a nuclear-armed Iran. Columbia University Professor Gary Sick, who dealt with Iran on the National Security Council staff of former presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter, agrees with Pickering and Dobbins; he writes:

"US efforts to manage Iran through isolation, threats and sanctions have been tried intermittently for more than two decades ... In that time they have not solved any major problem in US-Iran relations, and have made most of them worse ... Threats are not cowing Iran, and the current regime in Tehran is not in imminent peril ... The United States needs to stop the provocations and take a long-term view with this regime, as it did with the Soviet Union and China." [In other words, the U.S. needs to learn to get along with a nuclear-armed Iran in much the same fashion as it learned to get along with a nuclear-armed Soviet Union and a nuclear-armed China - to say nothing of a nuclear armed India and a similarly armed Pakistan.]

THIS IS THE KIND OF RHETORIC OUT OF WHICH THE NIGHTMARES OF THE ISRAELI PEOPLE IS FASHIONED. It's the same kind of nonsense that led Jews in Germany to believe what Joseph Lehman, the chief Rabbi of Berlin, counseled his fellow Jews to do five months after the ascension of Hitler to power in Germany:

"Fleeing Germany is cowardly, just because five months of pain lie behind us and probably years of misjudgment, hate, and need lie ahead of us. Practically speaking, we as Jews reaffirm a life in Germany and for Germany."

We know today where all that rhetoric led: To the ovens of Auschwitz. Now the rhetoric is coming from the Obama Administration.

ALL THIS COULD LEAD TO AN
EXPLOSION IN THE MIDDLE EAST

The very real fact of the matter is, there is ABSOLUTELY no way the Israeli state can exist side-by-side with an Islamic community backed up by a nuclear-armed Iran - after all, what else should one expect from an Islamic public that is daily fed a diet of virulent anti-Semitism not only in their nightly news broadcasts and from the propaganda organs of the state, but also a community that is inextricably bound to anti-Semitism as a result of their normal routines of life. The fact is, anti-Semitism is everywhere in the daily life of average Arabs. They are surrounded, infused and saturated with it.

For example, take the regular fare of television "soap operas" that millions and millions of Muslim housewives are exposed to every day - programs that are as popular in the Arab world as "General Hospital," "As The World Turns," and "All My Children" are in this country; except that all these programs are heavily interlaced with virulent anti-Semitic themes involving the so-called existence of a Jerusalem cabal of "international financiers" that aims to take over the world - a story line straight out of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. People need to remember what Islamization has done to the Arab mind - IT'S MADE DEMONS OUT OF THE JEWS; and what do you do with demons? YOU KILL THEM IF YOU CAN. This is where this kind of religious fundamentalism ultimately takes people - and it doesn't matter whether it's "Political Christianity" [the kind of Christianity that is embraced by groups such as the Posse Comitatus and the right-wing militias in the United States (the kind that the Religious Right is also dangerously close to embracing)] or whether it's the religion of the Islamic Revolution. EVERYONE THAT IMBIBES THIS KIND OF RELIGION IS PRONE TO SEE DEMONS! NEVER AGAIN! - THIS TIME
THE JEWS WILL FIGHT!

When this kind of "religious fundamentalist mindset" - which, as we have already demonstrated, THE U.S. BEARS COMPLETE AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR TURNING LOOSE IN THE ARAB WORLD (please see our article, "Radical Islam") - is imposed onto a whole culture, than those who are on the "OUTSIDE" of that culture are in grave danger of physical annihilation. It's no longer a question of who stole what from whom; or who is in the "right" and who is in the "wrong" insofar as various pieces of real estate are concerned (e.g., the Temple Mount, East Jerusalem, the West Bank, etc.); it's not even a question of "Peace vs. War" - IT'S A QUESTION OF "LIFE vs. DEATH!" It's a question of the "devil vs. God" - and on this level, all bets are off, and the "devil take the hindermost." Loss in this kind of a struggle is not an option. To be labeled an "OUTSIDER" in this kind of a war is to be marked for EXTERMINATION!

So what are Jews to do in this kind of a situation? Reason with their opposition? What's there to reason about? - The kind of ovens that are best suited for burning their bodies? The kind of gas that kills the quickest. The Jews have been down this road before! NEVER AGAIN!! This time they'll fight! If they go down, they'll take their enemies with them! - and the Jews have a name for this kind of thinking; they call it the "Samson Complex!" In other words, if they feel they are being pushed into a corner from which there is no escape, they will use their nuclear option - AND HANG THE CONSEQUENCES!

THE SAMSON COMPLEX

The story of Samson is recounted in the Book of Judges. Samson had been betrayed by his lover Delilah after she had found out the secret of his great strength - his unshaven hair. The Bible continues:

"... [T]he Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

"Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

"Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand ...

"And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy ...

"And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

"And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

"Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

"And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O LORD GOD, REMEMBER ME, I PRAY THEE, AND STRENGTHEN ME, I PRAY THEE, ONLY THIS ONCE, O GOD, THAT I MAY BE AT ONCE AVENGED OF THE PHILISTINES for my two eyes.

"And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

"And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. SO THE DEAD WHICH HE SLEW AT HIS DEATH WERE MORE THAN THEY WHICH HE SLEW IN HIS LIFE." (Judges 16:21-30

IT IS WITH THESE
WORDS IN MIND ...

"Never again!" - It is with these words in mind that we can begin to understand the words of Binyamin Netanyahu, the leader of Israel's Likud Party, when he said:

"... [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad talks of our destruction in order to prepare the world for this very possibility ... Our policy must be clear - no to a nuclear Iran."

He elaborated:

"We CANNOT in any way accept the idea of a nuclear Iran. I will continue the tradition established by Menachem Begin, who did not allow Iraq to develop such a nuclear threat [at Osirak in Iraq] against Israel, and by a daring and courageous act gave us two decades of tranquility."

NOTE: Osirak, also spelled Osiraq, (French: Osirak; Iraqi: Tammuz 1), was a 40 MW light-water nuclear materials testing reactor (MTR) in Iraq. It was constructed by the Iraqi government at the Al Tuwaitha Nuclear Research Center, 18 km (11 miles) south-east of Baghdad in 1977. It was destroyed by Israeli aircraft in 1981 in a surprise attack code-named Operation Opera to prevent the regime of Saddam Hussein from using the reactor for the creation of nuclear weapons.

There are, of course, others in Israel that Obama and his minions think they can persuade to go along with the idea of a nuclear-armed Iran; for instance, Ehud Barak of Israel's Labor Party and Tzipi Livni of the Kadima Party; but the fact is, Netanyahu is favored to win the next Israeli election scheduled for February of 2009. Add to this the fact that an Obama victory has left many Israelis uncertain about America's intentions regarding Israel, Israelis may be more inclined than ever to elect Netanyahu. 

NETANYAHU: A THORN IN OBAMA'S SIDE

In addition to the fact that Netanyahu is a hawk, he is also in the habit of going around the "American power structure" and appealing DIRECTLY to the American people for support of Israel, something that an Obama Administration that wishes to make a "new start" in the Middle East will find particularly disturbing.

And make no mistake about it! - Netanyahu has and will find again a deep reservoir of support for the state of Israel in the Religious Right. THIS IS THE KIND OF "STUFF" THAT COULD VERY WELL INCITE THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT IN THE UNITED STATES AND DRAW THEM OUT INTO THE STREETS AGAINST THE LEFT.

At the center of the "Pro-Israel" (pro-Netanyahu) faction of the Religious Right stands John Hagee, pastor of the giant Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. Allied with him are such evangelical "super-stars" as George Morrison of the 8,000-member Faith Bible Chapel of Arvada, Colorado and Rod Parsley of the World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio. All are members of an organization known as "Christians United for Israel" (CUFI).   CUFI is the Christian counterpart of the "American Israel Public Affairs Committee" (AIPAC). IT IS THE BELIEF OF CUFI MEMBERS THAT WE ARE ON THE VERGE OF ARMAGEDDON - a war in which Israel will defeat the forces of anti-Christ which are centered around the European Union, at least according to CUFI members. [Again, we URGE you to see our article, "The Supermen Theology of the International Christian Embassy's Feast of Tabernacles" for an exposition of the theology (eschatology) that is driving Hagee and those associated with him in the Religious Right.]

Hagee, who is the head of CUFI, has written in Jerusalem Countdown that what's going on in the Middle East today -

" ... is all about the end of days and how nuclear war with Iran will ignite it."

Pretty heavy! - especially in light of Netanyahu's "SAMSON COMPLEX" regarding the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities.

NOTE: As we have previously indicated, the CUFI board of directors includes the former Republican presidential candidate and religious right activist Gary Bauer as well as George Morrison, chairman of the board of Promise Keepers and Rod Parsley, the Ohio televangelist who is rapidly becoming a major political figure in the Christian right. Among CUFI's other supporters are nationally syndicated Christian right talk show host Janet Parshall, who serves on its board of advisers, and Ron Wexler, an Orthodox Jew and president of the theocratic Ten Commandments Commission, which has the backing of nearly every prominent conservative evangelical in the country. Many popular TBN televangelists, among them Benny Hinn and the best-selling author of self-improvement books, Joyce Meyer, have also offered their support. Meyer was named one of the country's 25 most influential evangelicals in an oft-cited 2005 Time Magazine article -- as was Stephen Strang, CEO of Strang Communications. David Brog, a former chief of staff to Senator Arlen Specter, the Pennsylvania Republican, serves on CUFI's board of advisers. Standing With Israel, his book urging Jews to embrace the support of evangelical Christians, has just been published by Strang. In addition to all this, CUFI is heavily involved with the neo-conservatives of the Political Right. PRECIPITATING THE COUNTDOWN
TO THE GOG / MAGOG WAR

Now one must realize something here: The Israeli bombing of Iran - which would not be aimed at Iran's population centers, but specifically at Iran's nuclear facilities - would not be enough to constitute what the Bible describes as the "Gog-Magog War" - a war that will engulf all of the Middle East, Central Asia and possibly even parts of Europe; a war that will kill off five-sixths of the population of that area. [Please see Chapter XV of the NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS, "The Gog / Magog War."]

But what it will most likely do is precipitate the final countdown to that war, and destroy whatever peace initiatives the Obama Administration might have started in the Middle East.

AND THEN THERE IS THE MATTER
OF PAKISTAN: OBAMA'S CAMBODIA

And there's something else; something which cannot help but make a shambles out of Obama's peace initiatives in the Middle East; something that could very well catalyze Netanyahu to strike at Iran; and that is this: Obama, in an effort to appease his critics who decry him as a "peacenik," has - according to George C. Wilson, a veteran national security advisor and a contributor to Counter Punch Magazine - committed himself to stepping up the war against the Taliban in Afghanistan. There is, however, no way the Taliban and their allied tribes in Afghanistan can be defeated without cleaning out their sanctuaries just over the Afghan border in Pakistan. Wilson writes:

"I can hear frustrated U.S. commanders on the ground in Afghanistan making the same kind of argument to Obama's team tomorrow that I heard yesterday in Vietnam when I was a combat correspondent there.

"I could empathize with this lament, for example, that I heard in 1968 from a 9th Division infantry battalion commander, whose mission was to rid his area - South Vietnam's rice bowl, the Delta - of the stealthy Viet Cong guerrillas: 'I can have my kids chase the Viet Cong all day and all night. But whenever they catch up to a good number of them, they just run over the border into Cambodia where we can't go'."

Wilson continues:

"His was among the impressive military arguments I heard for invading Cambodian border sanctuaries ..."

As a result of this argument, Nixon rushed into Cambodia to -

 "Clean out the enemy's border sanctuaries ... But the invaders failed to achieve the military objective of finding and destroying the Communist headquarters in Cambodia known as COSVN for Central Office for South Vietnam."

Not only that, America's invasion of Cambodia led to the collapse of the Cambodian government and to the breakup of Cambodia not only as a nation, but as a society. Now fast forward to Pakistan today. President Asif Ali Zardari, husband of Benazir Bhutto, a Muslim moderate who was assassinated in December while campaigning in parliamentary elections, is already complaining about U. S. military strikes against alleged al Qaida and Taliban targets in Pakistan's border regions. Many fear that if the U.S. continues down this path of cross-border raids it will result in a war that the United States would find impossible to win - at least without the use of nuclear weapons; a war involving a country with a population far surpassing the populations of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and even Iran; a population that would swallow-up any American present-day ground force that would dare to enter it.

Obama would be making the same mistake the last great LIBERAL Democratic Party leader Lyndon Johnson made when - in attempting to prove his military acumen - plunged into a war that his predecessor JFK had eschewed, and was DESTROYED by it.

THIS IS WHAT THE "NEO-CONS" ARE HOPING FOR;
THIS IS WHAT JOHN HAGEE IS HOPING FOR

THIS IS PRECISELY THE COURSE OF ACTION THAT THE NEO-CONS ARE HOPING THAT OBAMA WILL FOLLOW - an effort aimed at proving, to put it in the vernacular, that he has "balls that are as big as the balls any Republican has."

Trapping the American army in Pakistan trying to "clean out" al Qaeda and the Taliban could not help but embolden Iran to push forward its goal of turning itself into a nuclear power, THEREBY INSTIGATING AN ISRAELI AIR ATTACK ON ITSELF, an air attack that would set the Islamic world aflame.

That's what Pastor John Hagee says is going on; it's -

" ... all about the end of days and how nuclear war with Iran will ignite it."

MAKE PROPHECY COUNT FOR SOMETHING;
TAKE ACTION BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE
