THE MEN WHO GATHERED
THEMSELVES TOGETHER AT

INTRODUCTION

In his incisive, penetrating book on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, Farewell America, James Hepburn began with the words:

"Americans are the sons of Calvin. JOHN CALVIN PREACHED THAT THE PURSUIT OF WEALTH AND THE PRESERVATION OF PROPERTY IS A CHRISTIAN DUTY."

Strange words to begin a book dealing with the assassination of America's thirty-fifth president - a treatise on John Calvin? Hepburn continued:

"CALVIN CREATED AN IDEAL TYPE OF MAN THERETOFORE UNKNOWN TO BOTH RELIGION AND SOCIETY, WHO WAS NEITHER A HUMANIST NOR AN ASCETIC, BUT A [SEVERE] BUSINESSMAN LIVING IN THE FEAR OF GOD." [Quite appropriately, these words prove prescient as an apt description of the men who killed Kennedy: Hard-nosed, ruthless businessmen who "lived in the fear of God." (More about that later).]

NOTE: So severe and harsh was Calvin, the founder of Calvinism (i.e., the brand of theology out from which the modern "dominionist" movement springs) that on October 27, 1553 he had Michael Servetus - a Spanish theologian fleeing the Inquisition in Spain and someone who had had the temerity to challenge Calvin's doctrine of predestination as well as his belief that Christ's Kingdom on Earth could be set up by force of arms - arrested as a heretic, convicted and burned to death; and all this after Calvin had had Servetus confined for two and half month in a filthy dungeon in Geneva with no light or heat, little food, and no sanitary facilities.

When the executioner began his wretched work, Servetus whispered with trembling voice: "Oh God, Oh God!" The executioner (supposedly a Christian) snapped back at him: "Have you nothing else to say?" Servetus replied: "What else might I do, but speak of God!" Thereupon he was lifted onto the pyre and chained to the stake. A wreath strewn with sulfur was placed on his head. When the faggots were ignited, a piercing cry of horror broke from him. "Mercy, mercy!" he cried. For more than half an hour the horrible agony continued, for the pyre had been made of half-green wood, which burned slowly. "Jesus, Son of the eternal God, have mercy on me," the tormented man cried from the midst of the flames.

THIS IS THE KIND OF "IDEAL CHRISTIAN" - THE KIND THAT COULD HAVE A FELLOW CHRISTIAN (or anyone for that matter) CONSIGNED TO THE STAKE - THAT CALVIN BEQUEATHED TO THE WORLD; AND IT IS PRECISELY THIS KIND OF CHRISTIANITY THAT AMERICA EMBRACES TODAY - a pitiless, cruel Christianity locked in the pursuit of wealth and the establishment of God's Kingdom on Earth through the barrel of a gun. CHRISTIANS ARE CALLED TO AMASS
AS MUCH WEALTH AS THEY CAN

Hepburn elaborates on the evolution of this new kind of Christianity:

"Two centuries later, this new type of Christian came under the influence of John Wesley:  'WE EXHORT ALL CHRISTIANS TO AMASS AS MUCH WEALTH AS THEY CAN, and to preserve as much as they can; IN OTHER WORDS, TO ENRICH THEMSELVES'."

And there was more! - Hepburn detected something else in the development of the character of these Christian men: They were not bon vivants, but men of great self-restraint of the most agonizing and painful kind; people who believed that if they were to amass great wealth, they must also possess -

"... a DISCIPLINE over themselves as strict as that of the military profession."

These were frugal, penny-pinching men - the Protestant equivalent of the Catholic flagellants who believed it to be the supreme duty of all Christians to "... crush sin out of themselves" - and not only themselves but others as well. They practice a certain ruthlessness in the way they conduct themselves; people who, though they might possess great wealth, take particular delight in the "thrifty," sparing way they live their lives. Their chief delight is pilling up more and more money, and not so much to spend the money on the "good things of life," but to see it accumulate in greater and greater amounts in sterile bank accounts. 

Their archetype is Dickens' Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted, tight fisted, selfish man who despised all things that engendered happiness. These are perverted, twisted men who announce their superiority by the money they possess and concomitantly in the fact that they have the DISCIPLINE of mind and soul to exist in proximity to it without necessarily being lavish in the way they live. It is precisely this kind of military-like DISCIPLINE that they believe marks them out as "soldiers of Christ" - men like Daniel Drew, Lyman Stewart, H.L. Hunt, etc. (see below).

EQUATING FINANCIAL SUCCESS
WITH MORAL INTEGRITY

There is, of course, no basis in the Scripture for such ideas (i.e., that those who are successful financially are ipso facto men of high integrity). Nonetheless, it has been repeated in the language of our culture so often that it has now taken on the aura of biblical truth. For example, take a passage such as the following; a passage that has been extracted straight out of the folksy lexicon of one of this country's most well-known purveyors of such thinking, Benjamin Franklin:

"Remember that money is of the prolific, generating nature. Money can beget money, and its offspring can beget more, and so on. Five shillings turned is six, turned again it is seven and threepence, and so on, till it becomes five hundred pounds. The more there is of it, the more it produces every turning, so that the profits rise quicker and quicker. He that kills a breeding-sow, destroys all her offspring to the thousandth generation. He that murders a crown [five pounds ($8.50 in today's money)], destroys all that it might have produced, even scores of pounds."

IT SOUNDS SO BIBLICAL - BUT IT ISN'T

This all sounds so biblical - it even has a biblical cadence to it. The use of terms such as "beget," and "to the thousandth generation," lends to it a certain biblical veracity. But Franklin was no Christian; he was a Deist. He had, as a result, no real knowledge of the Scripture. It should, therefore, come as no surprise that the quote used above has little to do with the Bible - at least insofar as the New Testament is concerned - and everything to do with the "wisdom of this world," which the Bible UTTERLY condemns and TOTALLY rejects:

"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." (1 Cor. 3:19)

The fact is, the New Testament does not hold the rich in any kind of esteem or respect; quite the opposite! - it scathingly condemns them in terms which can only be described as brusque and severe; for example,

"Woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation." (Luke 6:24)

And -

"... a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

"... It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a [sewing] needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matt. 19:23-24)

THEY THAT WILL BE RICH DROWN
THEMSELVES IN DESTRUCTION & PERDITION

Not only that, but what's even more frightening, the Bible says that the pursuit of wealth can actually drive men to DESTRUCTION and PERDITION:

"They that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition." (1 Tim. 6:7)

And one should remember here that the above verse (i.e., I Tim. 6:7) is directed at a Christian audience; in other words, it's not just unbelievers that wealth has the potential of ruining, but it also has the very real possibility of destroying Christians as well, or how else is it possible to understand such harsh words?

Nonetheless, one would think in listening to the pompous toadies of today's Christianity (e.g., the late D. James Kennedy, Charles Stanley, Rick Joyner, Gary North, R.J. Rushdoony, etc.) that the words of Benjamin Franklin carry more weight in the councils of the church than do the words of the Apostle Paul.

NOTE: Now keep in mind here - Hepburn has a reason in dissecting the mentality of these so-called "men of God" in his book on the assassination of JFK; he is saying that "Christian" men of wealth, like Calvin, are capable of most anything, and one should be very, very careful in their presence - something that is very prescient insofar as the danger that is even now gathering itself around Obama. The feet of these men are ROOTED IN HELL! (1 Timothy 6:7 - above)

YOUR RICHES ARE CORRUPTED

Moreover, the fact that these so-called "Christian" men of wealth are in danger of perdition is not the end of it; there is something else that should be remarked upon here: The very riches these men have accumulated - the actual riches themselves - are corrupted! That's what the Apostle James wrote:

"Go to now, YE RICH MEN, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

"YOUR RICHES ARE CORRUPTED, and your garments are motheaten." (James 5:1)

THE USE OF "CORRUPTED"
WEALTH FOR THE LORD'S WORK

"Your riches are corrupted!" Think about that: The very riches themselves are corrupted - like great pustules that reek of putrefaction; abscesses that cannot be healed, full of poison and contagion. What's that say, then, about the many, many Christian ministries such as the Wycliffe Bible Translators and Youth with a Mission (YWAM) whose ministries have been endowed by such wealth? Can any good thing come out of this kind of "corrupted" wealth? Of course not! The Bible elaborates on the putrefied nature of such wealth:

"YOUR GOLD AND SILVER IS CANKERED; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, AND SHALL EAT YOUR FLESH as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. (James 5:2)

Your money stinks with decay; it's a necrotizing fasciitis - it eats your flesh!

A MALIGNANT FORM OF CHRISTIANITY

What a twisted, malignant form of Christianity that these "Christian" men of wealth produce (the kind of men who, as Hepburn will demonstrate, killed JFK) - a Christianity with no room for the Bible's warning:

"The love of money is the root of ALL evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10)

OR Christ's words concerning the "rich man:"

"Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

"And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

"And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

"And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

"And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

"But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

"So is he that layeth up treasure for himself ...

"And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

"Life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. (Luke 12:15-23)

Very obviously, such verses do not find a place in today's American form of Christianity.

Nonetheless, it is precisely on this kind of "Christian wisdom" - the kind purveyed by Calvin - that America is founded. Hepburn explains:

"According to President Madison, 'The American political system was founded on the natural inequality of men'. Correlatively, THE MORAL PHILOSOPHY OF THE UNITED STATES IS BASED ON [FINANCIAL] SUCCESS.

"At the end of the Eighteenth Century a Frenchman, the Chevalier de Beaujour, wrote on his return from North America, 'The American loses no opportunity to acquire wealth. Gain is the subject of all his conversations, and the motive for all his actions. Thus, there is perhaps no civilized nation in the world where there is less generosity in the sentiments, less elevation of soul and of mind, less of those pleasant and glittering illusions that constitute the charm or the consolation of life. HERE EVERYTHING IS WEIGHED, CALCULATED AND SACRIFICED TO [FINANCIAL] SELF-INTEREST'.

"Another Frenchman, the Baron de Montlezun, added, 'In this country, more than any other, esteem is based on wealth ... How much is this man worth? they ask. Not much? He is despised. But at the mention that he possesses one hundred thousand crowns, the knees flex, the incense burns, and the ... MERCHANT [BUSINESSMAN] IS REVERED LIKE A GOD'."

EVERY CIVILIZATION HAS ITS IDEAL MAN

Hepburn continues:

"Every civilization has its ideal man; an archetype that stands as a model for the average citizen. Athens chose the philosopher and the artist; for the Jews, it was the law-giving prophet; for Rome, the soldier-administrator; for China, the learned Mandarin; for England, the empire builder; for Japan and Germany, the professional soldier; for India, the ascetic. For the United States, it was the businessman!

"While other nations might have chosen wisdom, beauty, saintliness, military glory, bravery or asceticism as their popular divinities, the United States chose the civilization of gain. The true gods and the only Titans of America were Jay Gould, Daniel Drew, Jay Cooke, Andrew Carnegie, Charles T. Yerkes, Solomon Guggenheim and Irenee Du Pont.

"Some of these men, like J. Pierpont Morgan, became gay, high-living nabobs. BUT MOST, LIKE HENRY FORD, WERE FRUGAL AND DREARY PURITANS. All of them, even the most devout, even the most devoted, even the most sincere, had one thing in common: where business was concerned, they were tough. The churches approved of this attitude. In his book Heroes of Progress, the Reverend John McClintock wrote of Drew:

'May he long enjoy the fruits of his work and promote the reign of Christ on this earth, not only through the Christian use of the vast fortune with which God has favored him, but through the living example of his active and peaceful piety'.

Hepburn gasps, knowing that -

"He [i.e., Drew] ... pitilessly and callously cheated his associates, bribed municipal governments, and took advantage of the credulity of the people ..."

NOTE: The relationship between Drew, a ruthless financier and railroad tycoon of the late Nineteenth Century, and Rev. McClintock is illustrative of the relationship between men of money and the leaders of the American church. Drew founded Drew Theological Seminary on the money he squeezed out of the people he cheated on the way to amassing his riches. But McClintock is absolutely ambivalent as to the way Drew made his fortune - calling it the result of "God's favor."

The bond between Drew and McClintock parallels the relationship between R.A. Torrey who founded the Bible Institute of Los Angeles (B.I.O.L.A.), and Lyman Stewart of Union Oil, a man who remorselessly plundered Mexico of its oil wealth at the turn of the last century and who was responsible for the assassination of the Mexican revolutionary Poncho Villa. BEHOLD THE HIRE OF THE LABOURERS

These (specifically Drew and others like him), are those about whom the Bible says:

"Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth." (James 5:3)

In connection with this, one might ask himself, What's that (i.e., James 5:3) say about corporations such as Nike, Liz Claiborne, Fisher-Price, ad nauseum who ship their factories to Third World countries to take advantage of the cheap labor there? - manufacturers that seek out those workers who are the most docile and impoverished, and work them to death. Still lower wages have been obtained by the use of prison labor. In Columbia, for example, Container Corporation of America, B.F. Goodrich, and dozens of other companies have employed thousands of prisoners at extremely low wages - a few cents a day - under programs advertised as "rehabilitation programs," although 75 per cent or more of the prisoners have never been tried. China also is heavily involved in prison labor connected to products regularly sold at some of America's most well-known retail outlets.

The Bible continues in its condemnation of the rich or this world:

"Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

"Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you." (James 5:4-6)

NOW IT'S NOT WITHOUT REASON ...

Now it's not without reason, as we have already indicated, that Hepburn began his book by noting the connection between "men of wealth" and Christians in this country; and not only that, but the connection that all these men had with a sense of personal piety and frugality - as if one's personal piety absolves one of the way he treats his fellow man. Hepburn made this connection early on in his book BECAUSE IT'S MEN LIKE THESE WHO MURDERED KENNEDY IN DALLAS SO MANY YEARS AGO - AND WHO TODAY ARE UNDOUBTEDLY STALKING PRESIDENT-ELECT OBAMA, all the while thumping their Bibles and breathing fire down on those who do not measure up to their standard of what they call "godliness." These are precisely the people to whom Jesus said:

"Why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

"Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

"Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." (Matthew 7:3-5)

These are hyper-critical, censorious, disapproving little twits who feel free to cheat and connive in their business practices (people like Daniel Drew, Lyman Stewart, H.L. Hunt) and believe that they can escape the wrath of God by resort to their own PERSONAL piety; people who have no social conscience; people who believe that "the poor deserve to be poor;" people who maintain, like David Ricardo (one of the founders of our modern system of capitalism), that -

"Someone who lacks independent wealth has no claim to even the SMALLEST portion of food ..."

Finally, in connection with all this, WE URGE YOU TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT WE ARE SAYING HERE BECAUSE IT IS PRECISELY SUCH "CHRISTIAN MEN OF WEALTH" THAT ARE IN PURSUIT OF YOUR SOUL IN THESE "LAST DAYS" - "hyper-critical," "censorious," "disapproving" men who by their withering glance seek to make a monster out of you and frighten you into the same hell they inhabit. [More about this later.]

THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR
THE DEFENSE OF CHRISTIAN CULTURE

Most of the "men of wealth" who were later implicated in the murder of President Kennedy (but who were never brought to justice) were members of an organization known as THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR THE DEFENSE OF CHRISTIAN CULTURE (henceforth called the "Committee"). The Committee was a spying operation directed against the "Enemies of Christendom." [No surprise here! Men like these are forever examining the lives of others in order to fetter out the slightest indiscretion or transgression. Spying on others is written into their DNA.]

In connection with its spying operation, the Committee was closely associated with the American Security Council (ASC). The ASC began in Chicago in 1955, staffed primarily by former FBI agents. In its first year it was called the Mid-American Research Library. The organization's initial function was to compile files on suspected Communists (which was tantamount to saying "non-Christians") who might apply for jobs in the private sector. Sponsoring corporations included such well-known firms as Sears Roebuck and Company, Motorola Incorporated, Marshall Field and Company, etc. At its peak, the council served more than 1,500 firms as the private equivalent of the FBI or Senate Internal Security Committee, with 6 million personnel file cards and a specialized subversive activities [defined as anti-business, pro-union activity (which, again, in their eyes, was anti-Christian)] library. Files and documents were collected from the House Committee on Un-American Activities and several private file collections. Corporations joined to take advantage of what former FBI agent William Turner described in Power on the Right as "a dossier system modeled after the FBI's which was intended to weed out employees and prospective employees deemed disloyal to the free enterprise system (i.e., union activists)" and - ipso facto - the Christian religion.

HUNT - THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET
KENNEDY OUT EXCEPT TO SHOOT HIM

H.L. Hunt - who was the "money-man" behind W.A. Criswell's giant First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas - set the International Committee for the Defense of Christian Culture up in coordination with the Rev. Billie James Hargis who promoted the group as "a Christian weapon against Communism and its godless allies." They were people who - like Calvin - wouldn't blink an eye at burning their enemies at the stake or standing them up against a wall and shooting them - and it's precisely in this connection that Hunt (and the other members of the Committee) harbored a burning hatred towards Kennedy.

So hateful was Hunt towards Kennedy that early in 1963 Hunt publicly stated that JFK should be shot since "there was no way to get those traitors out of government except by shooting them out" - and it was, therefore, probably no coincidence that on the day of Kennedy's assassination in Dallas, Hunt's son - Nelson Bunker Hunt - and other members of the International Committee for the Defense of Christian Culture took out a full-page advertisement in the Dallas Morning News accusing JFK of being a Communist sympathizer and a traitor to the nation - and by implication someone who was worthy of death. And can there be any question here that this mindset parallels in every respect the mindset that gripped Calvin's brain and impelled him to have Servetus burned at the stake for being "a traitor to the Christian faith?"

NOTE: The Committee was saturated with Nazis and ex-Nazis. Konrad Adenauer, Germany's post-war Chancellor, supported the organization. It was associated with Russell Maguire, the pro-Nazi publisher of The American Mercury. Maguire was a close associate of William F. Buckley, Jr. and L. Brent Bozell, two young men who were at the time speech writers for Senator Joe McCarthy. In 1953 Buckley and Bozell completed a pro-McCarthy book entitled McCarthy and His Enemies; the book was published in the spring of 1954 by Henry Regnery, a pro Nazi German-American who had published Buckley's first book in 1951.  Also associated with the Committee was Dr. John O. Beary, Professor of English at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Beary later became president of SMU. Beary authored a book entitled Iron Curtain Over America, a book that denounced "Khazar Jews" and "eastern European elements" as "the insidious forces working within which are seeking to destroy America and Western Civilization." Beary wrote that American policy during the Roosevelt Administration had had three purposes:

1. As early as 1937, our government determined upon war against Germany for no formulated purpose beyond pleasing the dominant Eastern European element (meaning Jews) and allied elements in the National Democratic Party.

2. The powerful Eastern European element dominant in the inner circles of the Democratic Party (once again, meaning Jews) regarded with complete equanimity, perhaps even enthusiasm, the killing of as many as possible of the world-ruling and Khazar-hated race of Aryans.

3. Our alien-dominated government fought the war (World War II) for the annihilation of Germany, the historic bulwark of CHRISTIAN Europe.

One should note carefully the linkage that Beary made between Germany and "the defense of Christian culture" - especially as it is connected to point #3 above. The fact is, both the religious leaders and the businessmen associated with the Committee for the Defense of Christian Culture had an especially close affinity with Germany and most particularly with Nazi Germany. From a business perspective, the affinity of those associated with the International Committee for the Defense of Christian Culture with Nazi Germany and with Nazis in Germany who rose to places of prominence in Germany after the war is astounding - and parallels closely the affinity that the CIA had with Nazi elements after the war. The fact is, ALL the businessmen who gathered themselves at Murchison's home on the evening before Kennedy's assassination were deeply influenced by Nazi beliefs and had been closely connected to Nazi Germany as businessmen - a fact they tried desperately to obscure after the war. [Please see the NOTE following the first paragraph in our last article, "Whether Obama Will Live or Die May Be Determined by What He Does in the Middle-East and Central Asia."]

At the close of the war in Europe, emissaries from all the businesses represented by members of the Committee were to be found scurrying hither and thither over the continent gathering up and destroying incriminating evidence regarding their past connections to Nazi German, buying silence, and rewriting history.

WORDS ARE THE MIDWIVES TO ACTION

NOT MANY PEOPLE TODAY REMEMBER THAT AD - i.e., the one that Nelson Bunker Hunt and other members of the Committee placed in the Dallas Morning News on the day Kennedy was assassinated (see above). It has been carefully covered over in the intervening years; but at the time, it was enough for many "lefties" to make the connection between what Hunt had said earlier in 1963 - i.e., that Kennedy should be shot - and connect those comments to the ad that appeared in the Dallas Morning News the day Kennedy was shot, and from that assume without much trouble that Hunt and other members of the Committee were behind the assassination. THERE IS, AFTER ALL, A CONNECTION BETWEEN WORDS AND ACTION; INDEED, WORDS ARE THE MIDWIVES TO ACTION.

NOW THESE SAME WORDS ARE BEING UTTERED ABOUT OBAMA. The fact is, like the rage that Hunt exhibited towards Kennedy forty-five years ago, the Right's rage today against Obama borders on a mindless fanaticism:

"Kill him!"

"Terrorist!"

"Traitor!"

"Sit down, boy!"

"He is not one of us!"

"He's an Arab!"

"Socialist!"

"Bomb Obama!"

These are just a few of the audible rants that are emanating today out from the same "Christian" crowd that cheered the assassination of Kennedy four and a half decades ago; people who listen to Russ Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Michael Medved, Mark Levin, etc. [Please see our article, "McCain & Palin: The Business Right Marries the Religious Right."]

It's in this connection that some might remember comedian Eddy Murphy's 1980s delirious stand-up routine where he joked about whites voting for Jesse Jackson -- after a night of drinking and pranks -- only to discover the next morning, that Jackson had been elected; during his fictitious inaugural address, Jackson runs back and forth from left to right on the stage as the imagined assassins look through a rifle scope saying, "He won't stand still, he won't stand still."

STEELY-EYED, BIBLE-TOTING
CHRISTIAN BUSINESSMEN

These steely-eyed, Bible-toting Christian businessmen whose disposition of mind is to HATE rather than to love are exactly the kind of people about whom Jesus said:

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! FOR YE DEVOUR WIDOW'S HOUSES, AND FOR A PRETENSE MAKE A LONG PRAYER: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for YE COMPASS SEA AND LAND TO MAKE ONE PROSELYTE, AND WHEN HE IS MADE, YE MAKE HIM TWOFOLD THE CHILD OF HELL THAN YOURSELVES."

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, HYPOCRITES! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin [in other words, they go about 'establishing their own righteousness'], and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith [but who think nothing of participating in the wicked activities of today's world]: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

"Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

"Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

"Even so YE ALSO OUTWARDLY APPEAR RIGHTEOUS UNTO MEN, BUT WITHIN YE ARE FULL OF HYPOCRISY AND INIQUITY." (Matthew 23:14-15, 23-28)

THE MEN WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE - DIRECTLY OR
INDIRECTLY - FOR THE MURDER OF JFK: NAMING NAMES

These verses (i.e., Matthew 23:14-15, 23-28) perfectly describes the character of the men who gathered themselves together in the home of Clint Murchison in Dallas, Texas to put the final touches on Kennedy's assassination the next day near the Texas Book Depository: Men such as Texas oil magnates Sid Richardson and H.L. Hunt; FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and his right-hand man at the agency, Clyde Tolson; John J. McCloy, past president of the World Bank; Richard Nixon, Vice President under President Eisenhower (later to become America's thirty-seventh president; Robert L. Thornton, who made his fortune as an insurance magnate; Lyndon Johnson (who was to become president the next day, immediately following Kennedy's assassination); and various members of the so-called "Suite 8F Group," a network of right-wing businessmen such as George and Herman Brown of Brown and Root - a company closely tied to the Bush family and reputed to have had close ties with the Nazis during World War II; Jesse H. Jones, an investor affiliated with the Reconstruction Finance Corporation; Gus Wortham of the American General Insurance Company; James Abercrombie of the Cameron Iron Works; Hugh Roy Cullen of Quintana Petroleum; Texas Governor William Hobby; William Vinson, Great Southern Life Insurance; James Elkins, American General Insurance and Pure Oil Pipe Line; Morgan J. Davis of Humble Oil; Albert Thomas, chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Defense; John Connally, later to become Secretary of the Treasury; as well as Alvin Wirtz, Thomas Corcoran, Homer Thornberry and Edward Aubrey Clark - four lawyers who worked closely with the "Suite 8F Group."

NOTE: The name (i.e., "Suite 8F Group") comes from the room in the Lamar Hotel in Houston where the group held its meetings. Others associated closely with the "Suite 8F Group" included Robert Anderson, president of the Texas Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association and later Secretary of the Navy and Secretary of the Treasury; Robert Kerr of Kerr-McGee Oil Industries; Billie Sol Estes, an entrepreneur in the cotton industry; Glenn McCarthy of McCarthy Oil and Gas Company; Earl E. T. Smith, of U.S. Sugar Corporation; Fred Korth, Continental National Bank and Navy Secretary; Ross Sterling of Humble Oil; Eugene B. Germany, Mustang Oil Company; David Harold Byrd, chairman of Byrd Oil Corporation; Lawrence D. Bell, of Bell Helicopter; William D. Pawley (business interests in Cuba); Gordon McLendon of KLIF; Senators George Smathers, Richard Russell, James Eastland, Benjamin Everett Jordan; and lobbyists Fred Black and Bobby Baker, also affiliated with the Serve-U Corporation.

IN THE TRADITION OF JOHN CALVIN

Now in all of this, it cannot be reiterated enough that ALL these men considered themselves to be "good Christian businessmen" in the "service of Christ" and in the tradition of John Calvin; people who were so "filthy" rich that the late Professor C. Wright Mills of Columbia University could write of them:

"They had transcended the ordinary environments of ordinary people; by their decisions they set up and break down the destinies of others ...  They define themselves as inherently worthy of what they possess; they have come to believe themselves 'naturally' elite; and, in fact, to imagine their possessions and their privileges as natural extensions of their own elite selves. In this sense, the idea of the elite as composed of men and women having a finer moral character is an ideology of the elite as a privileged ruling stratum, and this is true whether the ideology is elite-made or made up for it by others."

Calvin couldn't have put it better!

THIS IS NO SET OF MEN WITH WHOM A REAL
CHRISTIAN WOULD WANT TO IDENTIFY

Professor Wright warns, however, that -

"... [This] is no set of men with whom members of the mass public can rightfully and gladly identify ..."

They are, instead, people for whom -

"The pursuit of the moneyed-life is their commanding value, in relation to which the influence of other values has declined, SO ... [THAT THEY] EASILY BECOME RUTHLESS IN ITS PURSUIT ... [They have] narrowed the meaning of 'success' to big money and in these terms condemn failure as the chief vice, raising money to the plane of absolute value."

How is it, then, possible to equate this kind of an attitude to what Jesus commanded His disciples to do? -

"LAY NOT UP FOR YOURSELVES TREASURES UPON EARTH, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

"But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)

It is, of course, impossible to equate the two: Christ's attitude towards wealth is diametrically opposed to any concept the rich might find convenient to harbor with regard to the matter of wealth.

Professor Wright goes on to say:

"Whenever the standards of the moneyed life prevail, the man with money, no matter how he got it, will eventually be respected. [In America], it is not only that men want money; it is that their very standards are pecuniary. In a society [i.e., the American society] in which the money-maker has ... no serious rival for repute and honor, the word 'practical' comes to mean 'useful for private gain', and 'common sense', 'the sense to get ahead financially'."

Again, this is not what Calvin - who preached THAT THE PURSUIT OF WEALTH IS A CHRISTIAN DUTY - or what Wesley - who exhorted ALL CHRISTIANS TO AMASS AS MUCH WEALTH AS THEY CAN - would say. And it runs absolutely counter to what most American Christians in the United States have been led to believe, especially the devotees of people such as Charles Capps, Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Bennie Hinn, Rod Parsley and the other purveyors of the "Green Gospel:" That a life of virtue will result in financial success.

It seems, once again, that -

"... the children of this world [i.e., secularists like Professor Mills] are in their generation wiser than the children of light." (Luke 16:8)

THE GREAT COVER-UP

By now the story of the cover-up of JFK's assassination is well known - at least to those who don't want to bury their heads in the sand. Commenting on the cover-up, David Miller writes:

"Curiously, the 'Committee' was disbanded in 1964, just a few months after President Kennedy's assassination."

Miller, of course, was being facetious here; there was nothing surprising about it. Everybody involved "headed for the hills," as it were, to lie low while the storm blew over. Meanwhile, the "Christian" activists (from both the business community and the religious community) who had been involved in vilifying Kennedy labored mightily to change their image and "re-gain public respectability." The effort proceeded along three avenues:

1. First, there was the Warren Commission charged with legitimizing the "lone-assassin" theory - the absolutely mind-boggling story that Lee Harvey Oswald was alone responsible for Kennedy's murder. 2. Second, the effort by the far right to surround itself with legitimate public figures, while at the same time hiding its unseemly past with "nuts" and "crazies" such as Billie James Hargis, Gerald L.K. Smith and the so-called "Jay Hawk Nazi," Gerald Winrod; and so thorough were these men in this effort - especially the Christians - that today there is nothing at Moody Bible Institute and the Bible Institute of Los Angeles (BIOLA) which would give away the close connection that these men enjoyed with these and a myriad of other Christian schools in the lead-up to the assassination of JFK. 3. Third, the far right embarked on a calculated process of "desensitizing" the public to its radical agenda, an effort that reached its zenith under the Reagan and Bush I and II Administrations. [Please see our article, "The Corporate State and the Mass Media."]

PNAC - TODAY'S CHRISTIAN RIGHT & BUSINESS
RIGHT FOLLOW-ON TO "THE COMMITTEE"

In addition to all this (see above), the Right created new institutions to take the place of its older ones - the ones that were discredited as a result of the JFK, MLK and RFK assassinations and America's failure in the War in Vietnam.

One of the most important new institutions is the "Project For A New American Century" (PNAC), an elite American New World Order "front group" consisting of one primary group, and two lackey groups who - like the "lapdogs" they have become - exist off the scraps of food that fall from time to time from their master's table.

The primary group is made up of leading elements of the Political and Economic Right (for example, Richard Perle, Frank Gaffney, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Michael Ledeen, Marc Reuel Gerecht, etc., as well as elite economic groups that revolve around Exxon/Mobile, Chevron, Haliburton, Philips, etc.). The two lackey groups are:

1. Conservative Jews dedicated to cementing a military alliance between the United States and Israel, for example, Midge Deckter and the Norman Podhoretz "circle" centered around the conservative Jewish publication, Commentary. [Please see our article, "Israel: In That Day There Shall Stand Up A Root Of Jesse That Shall Be an Ensign For The People" for the sad story as to how the Jewish community and the state of Israel have been suckered into an alliance with America's "richy-riches;" please also see "The Superman Theology of the International Christian Embassy's Feast of Tabernacles" for an expose of the theology (eschatology) that has led evangelicals to "trick" Israel in the way that they have; in addition, please see our article, "McCain & Palin: The Business Right Marries the Religious Right." 2. Heavy-hitters" from the Christian Evangelical Community - the group that forms the CORE political constituency for the richy-rich's "mass" political following. [Please see our article, "Inside the American New World Order System."]

   NOTE: All of these groups in one way or another see in the very power America wields proof of America's "exceptionalism," and each group hopes to harness U.S. power for its own purposes - whether for economic aggrandizement, security for the state of Israel, or the expansion of Christianity. Moreover, none of these groups shrinks from the possibility of having to use the "barrel of a gun" to promote its interests. Finally, each of these groups has come to believe that Islam is a force to be reckoned with insofar as the promotion of its interests are concerned; and, therefore, each is fervently working for Islam's diminution, and even - if possible - its destruction. SHADOWS AND PHANTOMS

It is here - in PNAC - that one can see today's version of The International Committee for the Preservation of Christian Culture, AND WHERE ONE CAN BEGIN TO GET AN IDEA OF WHO THOSE ARE WHO ARE EVEN NOW CIRCLING OBAMA FOR THE KILL - shadows and phantoms who like spiders that dwell in the shadows of a room, are spinning a web of deceit calculated to "CATCH CHRISTIANS" and cause them to approve of their actions. These are people about whom the Bible warns:

"Know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

"For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers ... unthankful, unholy,

"Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

"Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

"HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, but denying the power thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY." (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

FROM SUCH TURN AWAY

The Bible commands us to "TURN AWAY" from these people - people like Calvin and Rushdoony whose looks wither and bring others under condemnation; the kind of people we described in Chapter IV of the NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS, "The Image of Christ and the Image of the Beast," as well as in our articles, "Luciferic Christianity," "The God-Men of America's New World Order System" and "Today's Church: Making Zombies out of Christians - the Prophets and Apostles Movement."]

Calvin's disciples - ALL OF THEM; people who would not hesitate to burn their enemies at the stake; people like Bennie Hinn who wants God to give him a "HOLY-GHOST MACHINE GUN" so that he can kill those who oppose him (please see our movie, Greed Is Good); and not only Bennie Hinn, but people like Rick Joyner who says:

"SOME PASTORS AND LEADERS WHO CONTINUE TO RESIST THIS TIDE [i.e., the Christian conquest of the world through the barrel of a gun] ... MUST BE REMOVED FROM THEIR PLACE."

And people like Francis Frangipane who says:

"... there will be many 'stumbling blocks' circulating in the church ... Those serving in leadership must trust their discernment and REMOVE the 'stumbling blocks'." [And God only knows what both Joyner and Frangipane mean by their use of the word, "remove."]

And people like the late R.J. Rushdoony who said:

"In winning a nation (or the world) to the gospel, the sword as well as the pen must be used."

And, finally, people like C. Peter Wagner who says:

"God has prepared us for this moment: Intercessors began to be recognized in the 1970s, prophets in the 1980s, and apostles in the 1990s. THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CHURCH IS IN PLACE and we must be obedient ... (The apostles are now prepared to rule over the saints and prepare them for war) ... the church leaders most responsible for MOVING BELIEVERS INTO WAR ARE THE APOSTLES ..."

THE BIBLE CONDEMNS SUCH PEOPLE

The Bible unswervingly condemns ALL such people, saying:

"These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

"For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

"While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage." (2 Peter 2:17-19)

The Bible calls them -

"FALSE BRETHREN unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, THAT THEY MIGHT BRING US INTO BONDAGE." (Galatians 2:4)

AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT

And make no mistake about the psychological power such men wield; it is withering in its affect; hurtful, cutting, wounding - and so much so that it has the power to frighten and even terrify the most mature Christians.

Indeed, the Apostle Paul relates the story of a "dinner party" that he was at in Antioch; the Apostle Peter was there too. They were both enjoying themselves in the company of uncircumcised Gentile Christians, when some "Judaizers" (Jewish Christians who believed that Gentile Christians MUST be circumcised and come under the demands of the Jewish dietary Laws and other such minutia that had come to characterize the Judaism of Christ's time) arrived from Jerusalem, bringing with them the kind of Calvin-like harshness of soul that accompanies all such people - and with that harshness the withering looks that tear at one's psyche and pierces people "to the quick." Paul writes about what happened:

"But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

"For before that certain [brothers] came from ... [Jerusalem], he [i.e., Peter] did eat with the Gentiles: but when they [the Judaizers] were come, he withdrew and separated himself, FEARING them which were of the circumcision.

"And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation." (Galatians 2:11-13)

Now think about what occurred here; Peter, known among the early Christians as the "Chief Apostle," was himself carried away by FEAR of these people - of these Judaizers. Now that's something! - and not only Peter, but Barnabas (Paul's partner in the faith), and all the others Jewish Christians who just before the arrival of "those from Jerusalem" were enjoying themselves in the company of their Gentile brethren (i.e., those who were not circumcised).

PAUL REPROVES PETER, AND
RESTORES HIM TO HIS SENSES

Paul goes on:

"But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

"We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

"Knowing that A MAN IS NOT JUSTIFIED BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW, BUT BY THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

"But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.

"For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

"For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

"I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.

"I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain." (Galatians 2:9-21)

LISTEN TO ME HERE, DEAR
BROTHERS & SISTERS IN CHRIST

Listen to me very carefully here, dear brothers and sisters in Christ: WE ARE IN THE LAST DAYS - that period of time about which Paul said: "Know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come" and these "perilous times" will be accompanied by men who "HAVE A FORM OF GODLINESS" - people like those whom we have been describing here: "Christian" businessmen and politicians such as H.L. Hunt, Daniel Drew, R.A. Torrey, Henry Ford, Theodore Olson, Kenneth Starr, ad infinitum; and so-called "Christian leaders" such as Rick Joyner, Francis Frangipane, C. Peter Wagner, ad nauseum - who by their withering looks and hyper-critical attitudes will seek to bring you into bondage; to FRIGHTEN you much in the same way that "those from Jerusalem" FRIGHTENED Peter and Barnabas in Antioch so many years ago.

Now, understand something here: I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THOSE WHO WOULD FRIGHTEN YOU INTO SUBMISSION AT THE POINT OF A GUN; but what I am talking about here are THOSE WHO WOULD FRIGHTEN YOU BY THEIR SEVERITY in the fashion that Peter and Barnabus were frightened.

Paul says that "No, not for an hour" must we be brought into "subjection" by the likes of such people! (Galatians 2:5)

THERE IS A VERY PRECISE REASON

Now there is a very precise reason why we have taken the time to go into all this; and the reason is this: The time will come when the forces that are now swirling around President-elect Obama will strike. There is, of course, no way that we can set an exact date; but the question is not IF, but WHEN.  Obama - like Kennedy before him - must be stopped.

AND WHEN THESE SPECTRAL FORCES STRIKE - IN THE NAME OF CHRIST, OF COURSE - THEY WILL EXPECT CHRISTIANS EVERYWHERE TO UNITE WITH THEM IN THIS EFFORT. Those Christians who refuse to "go along to get along" will come under a withering compulsion to do so - THE SAME KIND OF SEVERE PRESSURE THAT CAUSED EVEN PETER AND BARNABAS TO SUCCUMB TO THE JUDAIZERS "FROM JERUSALEM" in Antioch so many years ago. (Galatians 2:11-13)

You will be charged with succumbing to the abortionists, the gay and lesbian community, the radical feminists, and on and on ad infinitum. You will be called "TRAITORS TO THE FAITH;" people who make friends with the "enemies of Christendom;" with so-called "Islamofascists."

And all this will occur long before the power of the state is called in to take action against you.  It's not without reason that the Bible says:

"They will deliver you up to [church] councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues [churches]." (Matthew 10:17)

AND SO I SAY TO YOU ALL

And so I say to you all, YOU MUST GUARD YOUR FREEDOM IN CHRIST. YOU MUST NOT ALLOW THESE "JUDAIZERS" TO FRIGHTEN YOU INTO SUCCUMBING TO THEIR PRESSURE - AND IT IS EXACTLY FOR THIS REASON THAT I URGE EVERYONE WHO IS READING THIS ARTICLE TO "INVEST" THEMSELVES IN THE NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS; AND TO SUBMIT THEMSELVES TO THE RIGORS OF OUR TRAINING.

BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THAT YOU MUST ARM YOURSELVES WITH THE WORD OF GOD FOR WHAT YOU WILL EVENTUALLY FACE IN THESE "LAST DAYS." To that end, I leave you with the words of Paul to the Ephesians:

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

"Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

"And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

"Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Again, it's in the light of these facts that I URGE you to acquaint yourselves with what's happening today; and TO CONSIDER TAKING THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS:
