CAESAR CROSSING THE RUBICON - alea iacta est ("The die has been cast")

In our last article - "Co-Opting the Anger of the People" - we spoke of a "TOP-TO-BOTTOM" REVOLUTION organized by the super-rich - which is EXACTLY what fascism is. Specifically, we said that -

"... fascism is a rebellion by the elites to preserve their own power against the 'Great Unwashed Masses.' It is, therefore, first and foremost a top-to-bottom revolution or movement. This is the primary reason that fascism begins in times of economic dislocation - THE KIND OF ECONOMIC DISLOCATION WE ARE EXPERIENCING TODAY - when the elites believe their economic interests are at risk from a revolt by the 'people'."

We went on to say that we are in the midst of just such a revolution today -

"... and that this fact is no more better illustrated than by the relationship that exists between Fox News, Roger Ailes and Glenn Beck (on the one hand), and the TEA PARTY REBELLION (on the other hand); the very real fact of the matter is, the so-called TEA PARTY REBELLION is the epitome of 'a top-down' revolution or movement."

It represents an effort by the super-rich to co-opt the legitimate rage of America's Middle Class and place it at the service of America's financial elites much in the same fashion that the financial elites of Germany co-opted the Nazi Movement and made it serve their interests - specifically, the destruction of socialism which at the time threatened to strip the German elites of their wealth.

This is what Chris Parry of the Vancouver Sun, believes; he has labeled the Tea Party Revolution -

"A ... corporate-financed 'grassroots' movement ... paid for, planned and promoted by right wing think tanks, corporate lobbyists and the Fox News Channel ..."

The so-called "Tea Party Revolution" is, in fact, nothing more than a Christian-oriented revolution presided over by BILLIONAIRES who care nothing for Christ and claim to represent the "will of the people."

This article - CROSSING THE RUBICON - will describe the utter HORROR of the kind of Christianity that Fox News is promoting, a BLOODY and CRUEL Christianity that seeks to bring the world under the rule of a Restitutor Orbis.

The RESTITUTOR ORBIS

Max Mell, a contemporary poet, has said that such a desire lies just underneath the thin cosmopolitan surface of today's modern Western World; it's the world of Parsifal, Guinevere, Roland, Lancelot, Barbarossa, Tristan and Isolde. This kind of an image - i.e., that of a Restitutor Orbis - is implanted far too deeply in our collective memory to ever be rooted out by the fleeting fashions of modernity, secularism, and democracy: A king who - like King Arthur (the "once and future king" - stands ready to re-emerge and rescue us from the chaos and confusion of this present evil world. And there are more people than most would care to admit (many of whom are passing themselves off as Christians) who are calling us to embrace the concept of leadership that these old "warrior kings" represented - a kind of messianic leadership based supposedly on nobility of character, charisma and the ability to "get things done."

Indeed, many of the Christian men and women who are crying out for such leadership hold the concepts of what we today call "democracy" in utter contempt. To their mind, messianic leadership - not democracy - is the ideal. To such people, the messy and disordered condition of "politics as usual" - with all its sordid, back room deal-making and compromises - is a disgusting and vulgar thing, made all the more loathsome by radical feminists, militant homosexuals and effete multiculturalists.

INTRODUCTION

Almost a year-and-a-half ago - about, one month before the last presidential election - I warned that something new was "afoot" insofar as America's business elites were concerned; something new and very worrisome: And that is the McCAIN / PALIN MATCHUP IN THE ELECTION OF 2008 INDICATEED THAT THE BUSINESS RIGHT WAS NOW WILLING TO BRING IN THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT AS A "FULL PARTNER" IN GOVERNING THE NATION. And make no mistake about it, the Republican Party elites knew full well what they were doing in bringing Palin in - that they were bringing into the party a faction of the Religious Right that had never before been offered the reigns of power; and not only did the business elites of the Republican Party know what they were doing, but the liberal elites of the Democratic Party knew as well - AND THEY WERE TERRIFIED BY THE PROSPECT, which to a large extent explains their frenzied attacks against Palin which continue to this day.

Both the business elites and the liberal elites knew that the leaders of the Republican Party were CROSSING THE RUBICON insofar as religion was concerned - the business right from a "positive standpoint" and the liberal elites from a "negative standpoint." The Rubicon

NOTE: "Crossing the Rubicon" is a popular idiom meaning TO PASS A POINT OF NO RETURN. It refers to Caesar's 49 BC crossing of the river Rubicon, which was considered an act of war: Roman law prohibited any general from crossing the Rubicon with a legion. The river was considered to mark the boundary between the Roman province of Cisalpine Gaul to the north and Italy proper to the south; the law thus protected the republic from internal military threat. When Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon with his army in 49 BC to make his way to Rome, he broke that law and made armed conflict inevitable. According to historian Suetonius, Caesar uttered the famous phrase ālea iacta est ["The die (plural for dice) has now been cast"). Insofar as who is who here, the Right in this case can be thought of as Caesar and the Twelfth Legion, and the Left can be thought of as the Senate elites "holed up" in Rome under the leadership of Gaius Cassius Longinus.

CROSSING THE RUBICON: The Business Right invites Sarah Palin and the Religious Right in as a FULL partner in the Republican Party.

MAX BLUMENTHAL AND THE LIBERAL ELITE

Max Blumenthal

Commenting on this epic act, Max Blumenthal, a liberal, a senior writer for The Daily Beast and a fellow at The Nation Institute explains how monumental the decision by the Republican Party elite was to invite Palin to run as McCain's running mate in the 2008 election; they were not unfamiliar with Palin's background; she, after all, made no attempt to hide it (and if Blumenthal - a raging liberal with no expertise whatsoever in these matters - could ferret out what this decision meant, then certainly the Republican elites knew as well); Blumenthal writes:

"Sarah Palin's power base was the Wasilla Assembly of God, a Pentecostal mega-church where she was baptized and spent over 20 years as a member.

"Most Pentecostal congregations are socially conservative, particularly those that are predominantly white, but Wasilla Assembly of God was in thrall to a radical Pentecostal trend once denounced by church authorities as heresy. Called the Third Wave, it was rooted in an explicitly anti-intellectual creation myth. According to the Third Wave's founding father, William Branham, a rural Canadian preacher, Satan had sex with Eve and gave birth to Cain—the so-called 'Serpent Seed'. 'Through Cain came all the smart, educated people down to the antediluvian flood—the intellectuals, bible colleges', Branham wrote. 'They know all their creeds but know nothing about God'."

NOTE: Branham was NOT born in Canada; Branham was born on April 6, 1909, near Burkesville, Kentucky. Blumenthal's mistake here is typical of the kind of shoddy scholarship that attends the writings of many secularists when it comes to matters pertaining to religion. Moreover, Blumenthal's explanation of the doctrine of the "Serpent's Seed" is extremely shallow. In May of 1946, Branham claimed God led him to a secret cave in Indiana, "which no man can find," where he met an angel who told him God had commissioned him to carry the message of divine healing to the world. The angel said that if Branham would be sincere and could convince the people to believe in him, nothing would be able to stand before his prayers, "not even cancer." Branham would be given two supernatural signs: first, the power to diagnose diseases through physical changes in his left hand; and second, the ability to tell the secret thoughts and deeds of people. If the first sign didn't convince people God was at work, the second sign would. Branham's public ministry began that same month and spread like wildfire across the United States. The angel from the cave accompanied Branham onstage during the healing services. This angel also directed Branham in other ways, sometimes telling him to cancel scheduled meetings. It is widely reported that many remarkable physical healings occurred at his services. David Harrell, premier chronicler of the healing and charismatic revivals of the forties and beyond, agrees that "the power of a Branham service ... remains a legend unparalleled in the history of the charismatic movement." Lifelong Pentecostals stood in awe at the specific detail packed into Branham's gift of "discernment" (as he called it), as Branham would reveal names, addresses, ailments, and personal details of people whom he had never seen before. Gordon Lindsay, founder of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, wrote that Branham's gift "was practically infallible. In the many hundreds of times I saw him speak under the anointing, he would unerringly speak forth the secrets of men's hearts — things which he had no possible way of knowing."

William Branham - photo on the right shows the halo that countless numbers (including many non-believers from the secular press) claim they saw as Branham taught. The sign in the middle is from a healing revival that Branham had at Aimee Semple McPherson's famous Angelus Temple in Los Angeles.

Blumenthal continues:

"Despite opposition from inside the Assembly of God's hierarchy, Third Wave congregations won droves of adherents by emphasizing charismatic displays of ecstatic release including practices such as holy laughter (hysterical giggling that supposedly represents the spirit of God flowing through the bodies of believers) and drunkenness in the spirit, where worshippers emulate the experience of intoxication so melodramatically that Charles Bukowski would reel in embarrassment."

NOTE: Once again Blumenthal reveals his bias against all things Christian, and most especially Pentecostal Christianity: Charles Bukowski was an American author of the so-called "Second Wave Beat Generation;" his writings were raunchy, vulgar and gross; he was friends with the likes of Gary Snyder, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Allen Ginsberg, Henry Miller, and William Burroughs. He was famous for his depictions of down-and-out people on the fringes of society.

The "Beat Generation" is a term used to describe a group of American writers who came to prominence in the 1950s, and the cultural phenomena that they wrote about and inspired (later sometimes called "beatniks"). Central elements of "Beat" culture include a rejection of mainstream American values, experimentation with drugs and alternate forms of sexuality, plus an interest in Eastern spirituality.

Blumenthal goes on, unable to resist poking more fun at Pentecostal Christians - most of whom he considers to be the "stupid denizens" of a hillbilly world for which he and other members of the liberal eastern establishment have nothing but contempt:

"Faith healing is also central to Third Wave theology; Todd Bentley, an influential Florida-based Third Wave pastor known for his tattoos, body piercings, and pseudo-punk attitude, once attempted to 'explode' a man's tumors by drop-kicking him in the chest. He also kicked an old woman in the face because, he said, 'The Holy Spirit spoke to me'. One of Bentley's mottoes is 'Some people snort cocaine, others snort religion'."

The "hillbillies" that Blumenthal and his secular ideologues smugly believe make up the world inhabited by those who are members of the Pentecostal movement. It's the world depicted in the 1972 hit movie Deliverance starring Burt Reynolds, Jon Voight and Ned Beatty.

GETTING TO THE HEART OF WHAT
REALLY CONCERNS THE LIBERAL ELITE

Finally, Blumenthal gets to what really concerns him and most other secularists - and in doing so, he expresses a fear that should not be dismissed because right-thinking Christians are "turned off" by his raging contempt for Christianity:

"Behind the Third Wave's histrionics lies an aggressive brand of 'DOMINIONISM'."

NOTE: "DOMINIONISM" is a militant post-millennial eschatology ("doctrine of end times") that pictures the seizure of earthly (temporal) power by the church as the only means through which the world can be rescued; only after the world has been thus "rescued" can Christ return to "rule and reign." Some dominionists see the seizure of the earth as the result of "signs, wonders, and miracles;" others picture it as the result of military and political conquest; most see it as a combination of both.

Dominionists - whether subtly or otherwise - pretty much discount the possibility of a rapture. They have rejected pre-millennialism completely - and in doing so, they have not only rejected the possibility of a pre-tribulational rapture of the church (though they often hide that fact), but also the possibility of a mid-tribulational rapture and a post-tribulational rapture. This is post-millennialism - the historic teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, THE SAME TEACHING THAT ANIMATED THE BLOODY CRUSADES ALMOST ONE THOUSAND YEARS AGO.

The basic dominionist model is as follows:

• The world is plunged into a time of political and spiritual crisis, one that threatens the world with chaos and the church with destruction.

• The Lord brings revival to the church.

• This revival results in the end of the church's divisions and the rule of the "apostles and prophets."

• The "Gospel of the Kingdom" is preached to the whole Earth which leads to the conversion of Israel, the conquest of the world, and the judgment of those who refuse to convert.

• The Lord returns. [Please see our article, "Today's Church: Making Zombies out of Christians - the Prophets and Apostles Movement;" please also see our article, "The Superman Theology of the International Christian Embassy."]

Jewel van der Merwe of Discernment Magazine, elaborates; she writes that this new kind of Christianity that Palin is involved in is actively pushing a belief system which prophesies that " ... (1) the greatest revival the church has ever known [is about to occur]; (2) the greatest baptism of the Spirit the Church has ever experienced [will shortly happen]; (3) the greatest army distinguished by invincibility, immortality and divinity [will be raised up]; (4) the greatest purging ... in the history of the church [will shortly begin]; (5) the greatest ministry - the Prize of all Ages [is about to break forth]; and (6) the greatest miracles, supernatural signs and wonders far exceeding that of the Apostles and Prophets of old [will shortly take place]."

The dominionist model, however, is at total variance with the older premillennial model. The premillennial model pictures:

• The world is plunged into a time of spiritual and political crisis.

• The church is apostatized.

• The apostatized church unites with the anti-Christ and seizes control of the world.

• A great tribulation breaks out against those Christians who refuse to become a part of the apostatized church, resulting in their persecution - after which the anti-Christ, who had at first appeared as the champion of both the church and Israel, turns on them both and seeks to destroy them.

• The rapture occurs for those Christians who "remain," and Christ returns to bring judgment on those who had destroyed Israel and persecuted those Christians who had refused to be apostatized.

In one way or another Franklin Hall, George Hawtin, Aimee Semple McPherson, Percy G. Hunt, Herrick Holt, George Warnock, Bill Britton, Kathryn Kuhlman, Oral Roberts, Ern Baxter, Don Basham, Bob Mumford, Charles Simpson, Derek Prince, D. James Kennedy, William Banks, Marilyn Hickey, Demos Shakarian, Ralph Martin, Steve Clark, Kevin Ranaghan, A.A. Allen, John Arnott, John Avanzini, Paul Cain, Charles Capps, Morris Cerullo, Randy Clark, Jack Coe, Kenneth Copeland, Paul Crouch, Jack Deere, Kenneth Hagin, Marilyn Hickey, Steve Hill, Benny Hinn, Rodney Howard-Browne, Rick Joyner, Essek Kenyon, John Kilpatrick, Kathryn Kuhlman, Earl Paulk, Peter Popoff, Fred Price, Pat Robertson, John Scotland, Robert Tilton, and John Wimber, etc. have all been involved in "Dominionism."

IMPRECATORY PRAYER: The deliberate attempt to levy a curse.

AN IMPERATIVE FOR CHRISTIAN CONQUEST

BUILT INTO THE DOMINIONIST MODEL IS AN IMPERATIVE TOWARD CONQUEST. Inherent in this model is an underlying theme that focuses on purging "demon influence" from entire geographic areas through prayer. This kind of prayer is called "IMPRECATORY PRAYER."

NOTE: "IMPRECATORY PRAYER" is a prayer meant to cast a curse (also called an execration) on someone or some group of individuals or even a geographic area. In particular, it is a wish expressed in a prayer meant to harm or hurt by a supernatural power; this is EXACTLY the kind of prayer that Mary Glazier, a close confidant of Sarah Palin, habitually uses against those she deems as standing in the way of the Lord (see below). NEEDLESS TO SAY, THIS KIND OF THINKING TERRIFIES SECUARISTS LIKE BLUMENTHAL.

 Blumenthal writes:

"The Third Wave arrived at Palin's church in Alaska through a "spiritual warfare network" founded by an Anchorage-based Haida Indian named Mary Glazier, who claimed to have converted 60 members of her family, including her formerly alcohol-abusing parents. Seeking a 'battle strategy' against the rising tide of sin that consumed her son, who committed suicide in 1990, Glazier tried to gain access to the state's prison system, a pit of desperation. A young female prison chaplain opposed Glazier's evangelizing intentions. GLAZIER RESPONDED BY BRANDING THE WOMAN A WITCH AND BEGAN TO UTTER IMPRECATORY PRAYERS AGAINST HER. 'AS WE CONTINUED TO PRAY AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF WITCHCRAFT IN THIS WOMAN', GLAZIER RECALLED WITH GLEE, 'HER CAR ENGINE BLEW UP, SHE WENT BLIND IN HER LEFT EYE, AND SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER'."

Mary Glazier is one of 500 apostles in C. Peter Wagner's International Coalition of Apostles (ICA). Notice the saying on the bottom right, "THE VIOLENT TAKE IT [THE EARTH] BY FORCE [VIOLENCE]; this scripture is taken TOTALLY out of context by Glazier and her ilk. WE URGE YOU TO SEE APPENDIX 1 TO THIS ARTICLE WITH REGARD TO THE MEANING OF MATTHEW 11:12. This kind of thinking (see above) cannot help but "SCARE THE SHIT" (to use the vernacular) out of secularists; that is to say, should people like Glazier and her ilk gain control of the country, they fear that they are destined to go the same way that the so-called witches of Salem went back in 1692.

Blumenthal, describing the mindset that organizes the thinking of those who surround Sarah Palin, writes with some trepidation about the frame of mind of another Palin pal, Becky Fischer:

"Becky Fischer, a Third Wave youth pastor who gained fame as the anti-hero of the award-winning 2006 documentary Jesus Camp, urged pastors to indoctrinate an army of spiritual suicide bombers to seize control of the country. 'I wanna see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam', Fischer said in the documentary during an unguarded moment. 'I wanna see them as radically laying down their lives for the Gospel as they are over in Pakistan and Palestine and all those different places'."

Fischer's ministry is part of an "apostolic network" of charismatic churches and ministries known as Harvest International Ministries. This organization is an offshoot of the charismatic movement that believes in the existence of present-day apostles and prophets. Her ministry is allied with such charismatic leaders as Dutch Sheets, Cindy Jacobs, Lou Engle, Patricia King, Stacey Campbell, Kim Clement, Bill Hamon and Rick Joyner. Fischer's ministry teaches spiritual warfare, healing the sick, prophecy, raising of the dead, and exorcism from demonic possession.

Now you must understand something here: When Christian leaders such as Sarah Palin say that they want to take control of the United States, they harbor in the back of their minds the same kind of concepts promulgated by Becky Fischer and Mary Glazier - the kind of demonic concepts we described in our articles, "Luciferic Christianity" and "The God-Men of America's New World Order System." THESE CONCEPTS KILL PEOPLE.

IMPRECATORY PRAYER AS A MEANS
TO "TAKE BACK TERRITORY"

Barbara Wentroble, another "apostle" in the "tradition" of Fischer and Glazier gives an example of the use of IMPRECATORY PRAYER in taking back territory and "conquering the world for Christ:"

"Recently I was part of a team of ministers speaking at a conference in Waco, Texas. The conference theme was 'Seize the City'. Intercessors gathered for several days to hear how they could bring their city under the lordship of Jesus. On one of the prayer walks to historically strategic sites, we crossed a bridge over a river. About halfway across the bridge, an intercessor faced the city and cried out loudly, 'Waco, hear the word of the Lord'! She then made prophetic proclamations about the will of the Lord for that city. The other intercessors verbally agreed by shouting, 'Yes! Amen! Do it, Lord'. A sense that the proclamations were not merely the words of a human being came upon the team. God had spoken prophetically through one of His representatives."

In the minds of people like Wentroble, prayer is conceived of as a DEMAND on the Lord. Make no mistake about it. There is no spirit of humble supplication here. These are DEMANDS on the Lord. That's precisely what they mean when they say, "Do it!" They mean "Do it" in just about the same manner a spoiled child would say "Do it" to his mother or father - or worse, the way a diner at a restaurant would say "Do it" to his waiter.

But this has nothing to do with ordering food at a restaurant; this has to do with CONQUEST - the conquest of whole cities, and whole nations, and the whole world - and not in the "sweet bye and bye," but in the "here and now." These people actually believe that they have been destined by God to conquer the world - and the sooner the better; and they are absolutely not afraid of transferring their prayers into political activity! - WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT SARAH PALIN AND HER CONSTITUENTS ARE DOING NOW INSOFAR AS MAKING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AN INSTRUMENT TO "TAKE BACK THE NATION FOR CHRIST."

NOTE: A key concept in the minds of those who adhere to Palin's concept of IMPRECATORY PRAYER is "SPIRITUAL MAPPING." Harold Caballeros, the "inventor" of "spiritual mapping" explains the concept:

"When a territory has been inhabited by persons who have chosen to offer their worship to demons [which, no doubt, would mean secularists such as Blumenthal], the land has been contaminated, and those territorial spirits have obtained a right to remain there, keeping the inhabitants captive. It is then necessary to identify the enemy and to go into spiritual battle until we obtain victory and redeem the territory. Spiritual mapping is a means toward identifying the enemy. It is our spiritual espionage."

Palin and her ilk are, of course, not averse to "dismantling" the "strongholds" of the enemy politically and by force when the opportunity provides itself. Indeed, they consider such "opportunities" as a gift from the Lord - an answer to their prayer. Hence, they have very little trouble translating their activity from the spiritual sphere to the physical sphere.

THERE ARE, OF COURSE, SOME VERY, VERY SINISTER CONNOTATIONS IN ALL THIS. WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE PEOPLE WHOM PALIN AND HER ILK HAVE "SPIRITUALLY MAPPED" ONCE THEY (i.e., Palin's cohorts) GAIN POLITICAL POWER? AFTER ALL, IF THESE PEOPLE (i.e., Palin's enemies) HAVE BEEN WORSHIPPING DEMONS, ISN'T THAT THE SIN OF WITCHCRAFT? AND WHAT SHOULD ONE DO WITH A WITCH? - KILL HER (OR HIM). ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU DO WITH A WITCH?

THERE IS NOTHING VAPOROUS
ABOUT THIS KIND OF THINKING

There is certainly nothing vaporous about this kind of thinking. This is for real - AND WHEN ONE BEGINS TO REALIZE THAT THE MINDSET THAT PALIN EMBRACES IS EMBRACED BY CLOSE TO ONE-THIRD OF THE NATION'S POPULATION, ONE CAN BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND THE FEAR OF PALIN THAT ANIMATES THE POLITICAL LEFT IN THE UNITED STATES. And one should bear in mind here that in a crisis - such as the growing economic crisis the nation is currently suffering through - there is a very real possibility that this one-third of the population can rapidly expand and eventually seize control of the nation; after all, when Hitler seized control of the Reich, he controlled only about one-third of the German population. So what do we have occurring here insofar as the dynamic that undergirds the concept of IMPRECATORY PRAYER? - a dynamic that the church initiates that aims at "restoring control of the earth to the Lord." In a very profound sense, what this dynamic is doing is attempting to CONJURE the Lord to do its bidding. But what they may be CONJURING is NOT Christ, but Antichrist. (Matt. 24:24)

You're surprised by our use of the word, "CONJURE?" Well, that's what we mean! To CONJURE means to use spiritual forces to accomplish YOUR will. That's what witches do. It is the sin of witchcraft - and it doesn't matter that the dynamic that is being used surrounds itself in beauty, rhapsodic music, and ecstatic worship, it still is witchcraft - REAL WITCHCRAFT, NOT WHAT PALIN AND HER CO-RELIGIONISTS THINK OF AS WITCHCRAFT. More than many of us realize, beauty leads to hell. Beauty is more often than not a harlot, and many a poor man has been made her prisoner.

Again I say, don't be fooled by beauty; it is no indicator of God's presence. Indeed, the Bible says of our dear Lord that -

Beauty is no guarantor of the truth.

"... he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, THERE IS NO BEAUTY THAT WE SHOULD DESIRE HIM." (Is. 53:2)

Moreover, just because people use the name of "Christ" or "Jesus" in their CONJURING does not mean anything. The adherents of Voodoo and Santiera use the name of "Jesus" and "Christ" in their ceremonies and rituals, but it is most certainly NOT the Christ or the Jesus of the Bible. Remember, there are many "false Christs" and "false prophets" gone out into the world. (Matt 24:24).

And there is something more - the Bible indicates that even Christians may imbibe witchcraft. Remember the sorcerer, Simon:

"Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

"And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

"For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

"And there was great joy in that city.

"BUT THERE WAS A CERTAIN MAN CALLED SIMON, WHICH BEFORETIME IN THE SAME CITY USED SORCERY, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

"To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

"And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

The practioners of Christian witchcraft have always haunted the precincts of the church.

"But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

"THEN SIMON HIMSELF BELIEVED ALSO: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

"Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

"Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

"For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

"Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me." (Acts: 8:5-24)

THIS IS A "HARD SAYING," BUT YOU MUST UNDERSTAND IT: THE PRACTIONERS OF THIS KIND OF CHRISTIANITY ARE INVOLVED IN WITCHCRAFT, THEIR SMILING FACES AND FAKE PIETY NOTWITHSTANDING. AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT; THESE
PEOPLE WANT CONTROL OF THE NATION

And make no mistake about it, control of the nation (and through the nation, the world) is what these FAKE Christians are really after - again, the very same people about whom the Apostle Peter said, 

"I perceive that thou art in the GALL OF BITTERNESS, and in the BOND OF INIQUITY." (Acts 8:25)

The very clear meaning of Acts 8:25 is that those who practice the kind of Christianity that Sarah Palin practices are controlled by bitterness and are in bondage to iniquity - no matter how much their "happy faces" belie that fact. And make no mistake about it, the kind of Christians (so-called) that can utilize the technique of "IMPRECATORY PRAYER" the way that Mary Glazier (Palin's pal) uses it against her enemies are practicing witchcraft. Jesus said, "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:43-48)

And one should make no mistake about it, it has not escaped the attention of Palin and her co-religionists that the United States is the most powerful nation on earth, and if they are to "conquer the world for Christ and the Church," they must begin with America. 

This is what Kenneth Copeland believes (see above), a pseudo-Christian who imbibes heavily from the same theological cisterns from which Palin drinks; he writes:

"This country belongs to God ... He's the One who brought the United States of America into existence. He had a special purpose for it ... He raised it up, and it's not going to be taken away from Him."

Bill Hamon, pastor of one of the largest evangelical churches in the country and another pastor who is sympathetic with Sarah Palin's political ambitions, writes:

"A new government must be established, a new way of life for ... millions of people."

Then there is well-known evangelical leader Sam Fife who said,

"... Jesus is setting up His kingdom here on earth ... We are the rulers of this planet - it's time we take over."

And there's also George Hawtin who has written,

"But the saints of the most High shall take (seize) the kingdom (meaning the earth), and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever." POL POT WITH A FISH EMBLEM ON HIS CAR

Bruce Wilson, a liberal who is aghast at the kind of Christianity embraced by Sarah Palin and her cohorts, calls their kind of Christianity -

"Pol Pot with a fish emblem on his car."

Pol Pot and the skulls of the victims he slaughtered in Cambodia in order to bring about a "re-birth of civilization"

Wilson goes on to say:

"While Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has recently raised the specter of totalitarian government by warning about 'death panels' she claims are part of the Obama Administration's health care plan, Palin herself has ties to a prominent Christian pastor [i.e., Rick Joyner] who publicly advocates the establishment of a government regime that, in his own words, 'may seem like totalitarianism' and would re-educate citizens in 'correct' decision making - an approach reminiscent of re-education campaigns during the violence-wracked Chinese communist Cultural Revolution or in Cambodia under Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge.

Centralized, authoritarian government will be necessary to bring in the Kingdom of Christ.

"Last March, Sarah Palin enjoyed an extended telephone consultation and pep talk with Morningstar Ministries Founder and head Rick Joyner, who has contacts among Republicans in Congress and whose ministry is closely tied to Palin's church, the Wasilla Assembly of God.

"In a 'prophecy' published June 19, 2007, Rick Joyner wrote, 'The kingdom of God will not be socialism, but a freedom even greater than anyone on earth knows at this time. At first it may seem like totalitarianism ... Instead of taking away liberties and becoming more domineering, the kingdom will move from a point of necessary control while people are learning truth, integrity, honor, and how to make decisions, to increasing liberty'.

"Joyner's dream is reminiscent of the visions of 20th Century communist revolutionary leaders who expected that centralized authoritarian government would initially be necessary but anticipated a period of greater freedom after capitalism was successfully vanquished."

NOTE: Interestingly, Joyner and his cohorts talk of "gay demons," and they actively promote what Wilson calls the Republican Party's new spiritual guru, Lou Engle. Engle, speaking about his son's new ministry to homosexuals in San Francisco, writes:

"My son Jesse, he's nineteen years old. God has given him dreams, to go to San Francisco to launch a house of prayer, one block from the Castro District - where the homosexuals boast the dominion of darkness. He's going there with the dream that prayer is stronger than the dominion of that spirit ... He said to me, 'Dad, as long as I'm there I don't think the Lord will judge San Francisco'.  He's nineteen years old. He's starting to cast out homosexual spirits out of our new converts. It's scary as hell. The whole thing's scary. But fathers are to send their sons into the darkest places."

Now, before some Christians say, "What's wrong with that?" they should remind themselves of the mindset that surrounds this kind of thinking. It is EXACTLY the same kind of thinking that animated Cubie Ward when he said during the Contra Wars in the 1980s,

"Killing for the joy of it is wrong, but killing because it is necessary to fight against an anti-Christ system ... IS NOT ONLY RIGHT, BUT THE DUTY OF EVERY CHRISTIAN." [Please see our article, "Bringing in the Kingdom of God Death Squad Style."]

And if this is true of so-called Communists in Central America, it's certainly true of those who are "DEMON POSSESSED" by the "spirit of homosexuality."

Lou Engle heads up a ministry known as The Call; it is a series of prayer meetings that calls upon the nation to "return to Christ and the church." The meetings call for prayer and fasting by Christians in protest to legislation such as same-sex marriage, and healthcare reform. In speaking of the attempt to legalize same-sex marriage in California, Engle has alleged that "What happens to California will release a spirit that is more demonic than Islam, a spirit of lawlessness and anarchy. And a sexual insanity will be unleashed into the Earth." While Engle talks of "spiritual violence" rather than "physical violence," the line of demarcation between the two is very hazy.

This somewhat out-of-focus picture is of Sarah Palin being "anointed" for her entrance into politics by Thomas Muthee (background) - This is the same Muthee that insists that "witches" (presumably, any secularist, homosexual, militant feminist, and EVEN THOSE CHRISTIANS WHO OPPOSE THE SO-CALLED RULE OF THE APOSTLES AND PROPHETS) should be driven from society. From there, of course, it is but a short trip to the gallows.

Again, Wilson reiterates the connection between Joyner and Palin's Wasilla church:

"Rick Joyner's Morningstar Ministries is closely tied to the Wasilla church, whose head pastor Ed Kalnins, along with Kenyan evangelist Thomas Muthee, anointed and blessed Sarah Palin against the "spirit of witchcraft" in an October 2005 ceremony at the church, shortly before Palin launched her bid to become Alaska governor ... Muthee is an international celebrity for his role in a series of documentary videos, seen by millions worldwide, that claim Christians can reduce crime, murder, traffic accidents, addiction, and environmental degradation by driving out, from cities and towns, demon spirits and accused witches."

Now stop and think about that for a minute: Once again, this sounds a lot like what Cubie Ward was advocating in the 1980s during the Contra Wars:

"Killing for the joy of it is wrong, but KILLING BECAUSE IT IS NECESSARY TO FIGHT AGAINST AN ANTI-CHRIST SYSTEM ... IS NOT ONLY RIGHT, BUT THE DUTY OF EVERY CHRISTIAN."

NOTE: In 1996, I wrote the following:

"Strange things have been going on in the name of Christ. Take the example of an evangelical pastor, Clemente Diaz Aguilar, who was detained by government forces in Guatemala and tortured by mistake: "My captors stole everything from me ... Those who captured me ... divided up my money, and later they led me into the hands of the torturers. In the long hours of torture, they asked me constantly about other pastors ... of some churches in the capital; they asked me also about my views on liberation theology [Please see our article, "Liberation Theology, the Vatican and the CIA: Ghosts and Phantoms"]  ... The torturers, tired of doing so much damage to me, rested for a while; then I recognized some of them: two are members of a singing duo from these churches (i.e., Verbo and Mision Elim); I begged (them) to recognize me because I recognized them; then they asked me questions about my capture, my complete name, my address, my church and my activities. When they realized I was not the person they were looking for, they begged my forgiveness, saying, 'Brother, we are also Christians'."

"What does this mean? - that in building the kingdom of God on earth, it's OK to torture? - even your brothers in Christ if they are perceived to be on the 'wrong side'? Obviously, the torturers knew Aguilar was an evangelical - it's just that they had mistaken him for another pastor whom they had reason to believe had gone 'soft in the struggle 'to bring in the kingdom'.

"Of course, the larger question is, Since when is it OK for any Christian to torture anyone, Christian or otherwise? What kind of a Gospel is being preached by evangelicals in Latin America? - obviously, at least in certain circles, it's a very politicized one.

Dr. Myrna Cunningham

"Then there's the story of Dr. Myrna Cunningham in the Miskitu Indian border area between Honduras and Nicaragua. In December 1981, she was captured by Contra forces - elements of the same Contra forces supported by Pat Robertson, Tim LaHaye and Larry Lea - and was beaten and repeatedly raped. Dr. Cunningham described the bizarre rape scene during which the Contras were singing hymns and praying. The Contras who had been involved in the rape later reported that they had been told by their pastors that killing and even torture (when necessary to obtain vital information) were permissible in a 'just war' against an anti-Christ system - and, if in the heat of the moment excesses like rape should occur, well, that certainly wasn't good, but that if they later confessed their sins, God would forgive and understand; after all, the purpose for which they were fighting was just.

"Then there's the episode involving the Nicaraguan village of San Francisco del Norte, on the western border with Honduras; in July 1982 it was attacked by a band of 80 to 100 Contras. Fifteen village members were massacred - some even had their hearts cut out while they were still alive - and dozens more were kidnapped and tortured. While all this was going on, the killers and torturers were praising God, speaking in tongues and singing hymns.

"Asked to explain the participation of some of their members in these atrocities, one pastor answered, '... THEY DON'T MASSACRE PEOPLE ... THEY MASSACRE DEMONS, AND THESE PEOPLE ARE DEMON POSSESSED: THEY'RE COMMUNISTS ...'"

THE CONTRAS: "... they don't massacre people ... They massacre demons, and these people are demon possessed: they're Communists ..."

Naturally enough, this kind of talk is enough to send shivers up the spine of any member of the liberal community; after all, if this can be said of Communists, it could just as well be said of militant feminists, homosexuals, etc., all of whom at one time or another have been labeled DEMON POSSESSED. AND IT'S NOT JUST PENTECOSTALS SUCH AS PALIN

Naturally enough, Blumenthal and his liberal ilk would like to consign Palin and her Christian constituency to the "nut jobs" (their words) who surround Palin; but that would be a great mistake. The fact is, this kind of thinking - the kind that animates the Wasilla Assembly of God - has jumped the so-called "Hillbilly" model that organizes the thinking of most liberals and has now found a home in much more staid and "mainline" Christian surroundings. For example, writing in the Journal of Christian Reconstruction, PRESBYTERIAN pastor Kenneth J. Gentry, Jr. declares:

"The whole creation awaits the godly dominion of the New Creation Saints of God."

And Gary Potter, president of CATHOLICS for Christian Political Action, writes,

"When the Christian majority takes over this country, there will be no satanic churches, no more free distribution of pornography, no more abortion on demand, and no more talk of rights for homosexuals. After the Christian majority takes control, pluralism (i.e., multiculturalism) will be seen as immoral and evil and the state will not permit anybody the right to practice evil."

A TROJAN HORSE

Palin, of course is not the Restitutor Orbis that Max Mell says the world is waiting for; she is, after all, a woman - AND THE KIND OF CHRISTIANITY SHE HAS EMBRACED WOULD NEVER ADMIT A WOMAN INTO THIS SACRED CIRCLE; but what she is, is the perfect TROJAN HORSE for such a man. She has the ability to promote her very WICKED and BLOODY form of Christianity in a manner that no man could do at this present time - "political correctness" being what it still is. No doubt, she has suffered severely from the bitter attacks of the secular elites, but nowhere to the extent that she would have suffered if she were a man.

It is in this sense that we can speak of Sarah Palin as being a kind of JOHN THE BAPTIST - preparing the way for the coming Restitutor Orbis.

Darby writes:

"In chapter xi. (11), having sent His disciples away to preach, He [i.e., Jesus] continues the exercise of His own ministry. The report of the works of Christ reaches John in prison. He, in whose heart, notwithstanding his prophetic gift, there still remained something of Jewish thoughts and hopes, sends his disciples to ask Jesus if He is the One who should come, or if they were still to look for another. God allowed this question in order to put everything in its place. Christ, being the Word of God, ought to be His own witness. He ought to bear testimony to Himself as well as to John, and not to receive testimony from the latter; and this He did in the presence of John's disciples. He healed all the diseases of men, AND PREACHED THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR; and John's messengers were to set before him this true testimony of what Jesus was. John was to receive it. It was by these things men were tested. BLESSED IS HE WHO SHOULD NOT BE OFFNDED AT THE LOWLY EXTERIOR OF THE KING OF ISRAEL. GOD MANIFEST IN THE FLESH DID NOT COME TO SEEK THE POMP OF ROYALTY, ALTHOUGH IT WAS HIS DUE, but the deliverance of suffering men. His work revealed a character much more profoundly divine, which had a spring of action far more glorious than that which depended on the possession of the throne of David - than a deliverance which would have set John at liberty, and put an end to the tyranny that had imprisoned him.

"To undertake this ministry, to go down into the scene of its exercise, to bear the sorrows and the burdens of His people, might be an occasion of stumbling to a carnal heart that was looking for the appearance of a glorious kingdom which would satisfy the pride of Israel. But was it not more truly divine, more necessary to the condition of the people as seen of God? The heart of each one therefore would be thus tested, to shew whether he belonged to that repentant remnant who discerned the ways of God, or to the proud multitude who only sought their own glory, possessing neither a conscience before God, nor a sense of their need and misery.

JOHN THE BAPTIST: He who comes in the spirit of Elias.

"Having set John under the responsibility of receiving this testimony, which put all Israel to the test, and distinguished the remnant from the nation in general, the Lord then bears witness to John himself, addressing the multitude, and reminding them how they had followed the preaching of John. He shews them the exact point to which Israel had come in the ways of God. The introduction, in testimony, of the kingdom made the difference between that which preceded and that which followed. Among all that are born of women there had been none greater than John the Baptist, none who had been so near Jehovah, sent before His face, none who had rendered Him a more exact and complete testimony, who had been so separate from all evil by the power of the Spirit of God - a separation proper to the fulfillment of such a mission among the people of God. Still he had not been in the kingdom; it was not yet established; and to be in the presence of Christ in His kingdom, enjoying the result of the establishment of His glory, was a greater thing than all testimony to the coming of the kingdom.

"Nevertheless from the time of John the Baptist there was a notable change. From that time the kingdom was announced. It was not established, but it was preached. [We URGE you to see our articles, "The Kingdom of God Is at Hand" and "The Principles of the Kingdom."]

This was a very different thing from the prophecies that spoke of the kingdom for a yet distant period, while recalling the people to the law as given by Moses. The Baptist went before the King, announcing the nearness of the kingdom, and commanding the Jews to repent that they might enter into it. Thus the law and the prophets spake on God's part until John. The law was the rule; the prophets, maintaining the rule, strengthened the hopes and the faith of the remnant. NOW, THE ENERGY OF THE SPIRIT IMPELLED MEN TO FORCE THEIR WAY THROUGH EVERY DIFFICULTY AND ALL OPPOSITION OF THE LEADERS OF THE NATION AND OF A BLINDED PEOPLE, THAT THEY MIGHT AT ALL COSTS ATTAIN THE KINGDOM OF A KING REJECTED BY THE BLIND UNBELIEF OF THOSE WHO SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED HIM. IT NEEDED - SEEING THAT THE KING HAD COME IN HUMILIATION, AND THAT HE HAD BEEN REJECTED - IT NEEDED VIOLENCE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM.  The strait gate was the only entrance.

NOTE: Note carefully here how the leaders of today's Christianity have been blinded in the same way that the leaders of the "established religion" of Christ's day were blinded. When they speak of the violent taking the kingdom of Christ by violence, they mean seizing control of the political power of the world in the same way the "established religion" of Christ's day meant. They are as enamored by the "pomp and circumstances" of worldly power as were the leaders of the Jewish religion of Christ's time. THEY ARE UTTERLY BLIND TO THE FACT THAT THE "VIOLENCE" SPOKEN OF BY JESUS IN MATTHEW 11:12 IS THE FIERCE SPIRTUAL ENERGY NEEDED BY THOSE TO PENETRATE THE DECEPTION THAT HAS TAKEN HOLD OF CHRISTIANS TODAY.

Jesus came NOT as a king, but as a poor laborer; the kind of poor workingman that Karl Marx had more pity for than do most American Christians today.

Darby continues:

"If faith could really penetrate the mind of God therein, John was the Elias who should come. He that had ears to hear, let him hear. It was in fact for those only.

"Had the kingdom appeared in the glory and in the power of its Head, violence would not have been necessary; it would have been possessed as the certain effect of that power; but it was the will of God that they should morally be tested. It was thus also that they ought to have received Elias in spirit."
