Nonetheless the elites still must
find a way to turn their HATRED of socialism into a religious
crusade, for only this kind of crusade - a religious kind
- can engender the passion and zeal necessary (and even hate)
necessary to destroy those who would strip them of their wealth:

that the "richy-riches" can wave in front of Christians; the
means through which they can turn their war against socialism

"It is now almost seven decades since Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime initiated their program for the mass murder of all European Jews. Our sense of the enormity of this crime has not diminished with the passing of time. On the contrary, the significance of the Holocaust is underscored by events now unfolding-wars of imperialist and colonial aggression in the name of a 'war on terror', deepening rivalries between the major industrial powers and a breakdown of the West's economic order recalling the crises of the 1930s out of which the Nazi regime arose."
Unfortunately, according to Beams, during these seven decades a great effort has been made by those on the Right to disconnect the Holocaust from its foundation in the economic collapse of Europe in the early part of the Twentieth Century, and - ipso facto - to disconnect the business elites of that era from their responsibility insofar as the Holocaust was concerned. This attempt revolves around the effort to pin responsibility for the Holocaust on some kind of hateful malevolence toward the Jews hidden in the DNA of the German people. This is certainly what Harvard academic Daniel Goldhagen attempted to do in his book, Hitler's Willing Executioners.
However, Beams does not "buy into" this thesis. The fact is, next to the United States Germany did more to accommodate the Jews in their midst than any other people, igniting in the Jewish people of the time a great admiration for Germany - and so much so that Heinz Kellerman, a German Jew writing shortly after the advent of Hitler to power, could write the astonishingly naive words:
"The time has now come which requires a renewal of the synthesis of Germandom and Jewry; holding on to one's German identity and acquiring a Jewish one."
And Joseph Lehman, Rabbi of Berlin, could say in the spring of 1933:
"Fleeing Germany is cowardly, just because five months of pain lie behind us and probably years of misjudgment, hate, and need lie ahead of us. Practically speaking, we as Jews reaffirm a life in Germany and for Germany."
It's in the light of this that Beams is able to assert -
"... if, in the first decade of the Twentieth Century, the question had been asked: In which country is it most likely that a mass murder of Jews will be organized, the answer, almost certainly, would have been Russia. As for Germany, the historian Robert Wistrich noted that "had there been a Nobel Prize for passionate identification with German language and culture before 1933, the Jews would have surely won it."
So
much for the DNA theory; but if that's true, where does the
blame lie? BEAMS ARGUES THAT THE PRINCIPLE BLAME FOR THE
HOLOCAUST LIES IN ITS CONNECTION WITH BIG BUSINESS AND THE ATTEMPT
BY BIG BUSINESS TO SAVE ITSELF FROM THE THREAT OF SOCIALISM
AFTER THE COLLAPSE OF THE GERMAN ECONOMY IN THE EARLY 1930s.
AND IF THAT'S THE CASE, WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT A NEW HOLOCAUST
RESULTING FROM THE COLLAPSE OF TODAY'S WORLD ECONOMY? - A HOLOCAUST
AIMED NOT NECESSARILY AT THE JEWS, BUT AT OTHER "TARGETED
GROUPS" THAT BIG BUSINESS CAN USE AS A SCAPEGOAT TO DEFLECT
THE ANGER OF THE PEOPLE FROM THEMSELVES - FOR EXAMPLE, MUSLIMS
IN EUROPE AND IN AMERICA. [Please see our articles, "The

NOTE: Again, as we indicated in the Preface, the ULTIMATE scapegoat, of course, is ALWAYS the Jew; but for now the Jews are pretty well protected from the "wrath of the people" because of the lingering shame the world still possesses as a result of Hitler's Holocaust. And more than that, they are protected as a result of the alliance they have made with America's evangelical church; but one must remember here that this alliance is predicated on the false belief that Israel will CONVERT as a WHOLE nation immediately after the Gog/Magog War - and this conversion will give proof to the fact that the church has been fully matured and is ready for the "Restoration of all Things." For example, Rick Joyner, one of today's most important so-called "Prophets" says:
"The Jews have historically represented the greatest test for the gospel ... In a sense, Jews are the 'ACID TEST' of our message. UNTIL THE CHURCH COMES TO THE SPIRITUAL STATURE (MATURITY) WHERE SHE PROVOKES THE JEW TO JEALOUSY [meaning national 'conversion'], WE HAVE NOT YET ATTAINED TO WHAT WE HAVE BEEN CALLED."
And he goes on to say:
"The Jews were 'hardened' TO MAKE THEM THE HARDEST TO REACH. In this way, they have become the barometer of humanity, reflecting the overall condition of the state of man. When the gospel is preached that grafts the 'natural branches' back into the tree, the church and Israel will then be able to reach the whole world. This is why Paul said that the gospel should be preached 'to the Jew first'. This was not just out of favoritism, but because the Jew represents the greatest challenge of the gospel, and one which we must have ... Even so, our relationship to the Jews is not meant to be a stumbling block, but a stepping stone ... The final joining together of both 'into one new man' [meaning the ABSORPTION of Israel by the church] ... resulting in the healing of all spiritual and cultural wounds. WHEN THE CHURCH AND ISRAEL HAVE BEEN GRAFTED TOGETHER ... THE TIME OF 'THE RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS' (i.e., THE LORD'S SECOND COMING) MAY BEGIN."
ANCILLARY NOTE:
But Israel is not destined to be ABSORBED by the church, but - as Charles Caldwell Ryrie of Dallas Theological Seminary puts it - is instead destined to retain her identity throughout ALL eternity. [We URGE you to see Chapter VI of the New Antipas Papers, "The Distinction between Israel and the Church."]
In other words, "the time of the restoration of all things" can't begin until Israel is saved. But once again I must remind you that the prophet Zechariah says that won't occur until Christ returns, not before. (Zech. 12:10 - 13:1) Nevertheless, Christian dominionists are expecting the Jews to convert! - and to this end, they fervently believe the church has made herself ready.
What will happen when these hopes are dashed, as they most certainly will be. (cf. Zech. 12:10 - 13:1) WOW! - THE WRATH THAT WILL FALL ON ISRAEL AS A RESULT WILL BE HORRIBLE! THERE IS, AFTER ALL, NOTHING SO HATEFUL AND MEAN-SPIRITED AS A JILTED LOVER.
And more than that, what will Christian dominionists think when Israel refuses not only to convert, but rebuilds the temple, excludes any Christian participation in its rebuilding and in the subsequent revived Temple service, and then - as if to add insult to injury - CLAIMS THAT SHE (i.e., ISRAEL) - AND NOT THE CHURCH - IS GOD'S REPRESENTATIVE ON EARTH? What will happen then? Think of the wrath that this will provoke among Christian dominionists!
The gloves will come off, the smiles will disappear, and the knives will surely be unsheathed then. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO LUTHER - and you can be sure that it will happen again! [Please see Part 6 of Chapter XVI of the New Antipas Papers, "Fiction Meets Reality."]

ANTI-SEMITISM WAS SEEN BY BIG BUSINESS AS A MEANS
OF DEFLECTING THE RAGE OF AVERAGE GERMANS
Again, it's precisely here that anti-Semitism became a tool of Big Business: It was seen by Big Business in Germany as a means of turning aside the anger of average Germans against Big Business for its responsibility for World War 1 and the subsequent collapse of the German economy, and also, as we suggested earlier, as a means to suppress the effort by the Left to create a socialist state - and by doing so stripping them of their wealth, which is precisely what had happened to the elites in Russia. AND SO IT IS TODAY - but not so much with the Jews (at least prior to the God/Magog War), but with the Muslims in Europe and in America. BIG BUSINESS NEEDS SCAPEGOATS TO PIN BLAME ON FOR THEIR FAILURES - AND THE MUSLIMS ARE TODAY'S SCAPEGOATS - THE MEANS BY WHICH FOX NEWS AND OTHER RIGHT-WING MEDIA OUTLETS ARE ATTEMPTING TO DEFLECT ANGER AWAY FROM THE BUSINESS ELITES THEY SERVE AND ON TO OTHER TARGETS.

this connection it should be noted that the business elites in Germany were
not necessarily anti-Semitic;
indeed, many of them abhorred the anti-Semitism that Hitler was peddling;
IN THE END, HOWEVER, GERMANY'S BUSINESS ELITES EMBRACED
HITLER'S ANTI-SEMITISM BECAUSE ALONG WITH IT THEY GOT HITLER'S ABHORRENCE
OF SOCIALISM - which in Hitler's mind were one-in-the-same-thing.
The fact is, Hitler did not distinguish between socialism and the Jews - they were the same thing; WHERE ONE FOUND SOCIALISM, ONE FOUND THE JEWS; AND WHERE ONE FOUND THE JEWS, ONE FOUND SOCIALISM.
Beams explains:
"After struggling to come to grips with the Jewish question in pre-war Vienna, he [i.e., Hitler] wrote, the scales dropped from his eyes 'WHEN I RECOGNIZED THE JEW AS THE LEADER OF SOCIAL DEMOCRACY ... As I delved more deeply into the teachings of Marxism ... Fate itself gave me its answer. The Jewish doctrine of Marxism rejects the aristocratic principle of Nature and replaces the eternal privilege of power and strength by the mass of numbers and their dead weight. Thus it denies the value of personality in man, contests the significance of nationality and race, and thereby withdraws from humanity the premise of its existence and its culture."

He was thankful for a 'natural aristocracy' that could counterbalance the deficiencies of the others, an 'aristocracy of virtue and talent, which Nature has wisely provided for the direction of the interests of society ..."
Herrnstein and Murray continue,
According to Murray, "The Founders wrote frankly about the inequality of men. For Thomas Jefferson, it was obvious that ... (people) were especially unequal in virtue and intelligence."
"The other founders, including Madison, Hamilton, and Washington - ruminated in the same vein (as Jefferson) about the inequality of men and the political implications of that inequality ... The perversions ... (implicit) in the egalitarian ideal that began with the French Revolution and have been so plentiful in the twentieth century are not accidents of history ... Egalitarian tyrannies, whether of the Jacobite or the Leninist variety, are worse than inhumane. They are inhuman."
ONE SHOULD ASK HIMSELF, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE HERE BETWEEN WHAT HITLER WAS SAYING SEVENTY YEARS AGO AND WHAT HERRNSTEIN AND MURRAY ARE SAYING TODAY? Beams continues:
"As the journalist Konrad Heiden noted in his biography of Hitler, the labor movement did not repel him because it was led by Jews, rather THE JEWS REPELLED HIM BECAUSE THEY LED THE LABOR MOVEMENT. It was the socialist Karl Marx who had kindled Hitler's anti-Semitism."
THE JEW AND COMMUNIST RUSSIA

NOTE: It is precisely because Hitler made no distinction between the Jews and socialism that Germany's conquests in the East were conducted in a much more murderous manner than his conquests in the West. Beams writes:
"... the attempted conquest of the Soviet Union was more than a colonial war. It was a social counter-revolution as well. For Hitler, conquest and colonization necessitated not only the overturn of the state established by the 1917 October Revolution, but the eradication of the social and intellectual forces-above all the "JEW-BOLSHEVIKS"-that had led it and sustained the Soviet state. The war in the East was, therefore, in every sense a Vernichtungskrieg-a war of destruction and extirpation. This is the source of the Holocaust.
"The orders given by Hitler and other Nazi leaders to the army and its accompanying special forces (Einsatzgruppen) made clear that simultaneous with the war, there was to be a murderous campaign against the Jews."
On March 3, 1941 Hitler told Alfred Jodl, Chief of the Operations Staff of the Armed Forces High Command, that the imminent military campaign was not simply a question of weapons, but a conflict of two worldviews: "The JEWISH-BOLSHEVIK intelligentsia, the 'suppressor' of these peoples until now, must be removed."
Hitler outlined the tasks of the SS units: "The intelligentsia put in by Stalin must be exterminated. The controlling machinery of the Russian empire must be smashed. In Great Russia force must be used in its most brutal form."
On March 30, 1941 Hitler addressed a meeting of 200 military officers on the coming war. Notes of the meeting read: "Clash of two ideologies. Crushing denunciation of Bolshevism, identified with asocial criminality. Communism is an enormous danger for our future. A communist is no comrade before or after the battle. This is a war of destruction. If we do not grasp this, we shall still beat the enemy, but 30 years later we shall again have to fight the communist foe. We do not wage war to preserve the enemy ... War against Russia means extermination of the Bolshevist Commissars and the communist intelligentsia. ... This will be a very different war from the war in the west. In the east, harshness today means lenience in the future. Commanders must make the sacrifice of overcoming their personal scruples." A note at the end of this minute reads: "Noon: All invited for lunch."
A document drafted in the top levels of the military on the kind of measures needed to pacify the conquered territory stated: "In this connection it must be established that beyond the usual military resistance this time the troops will encounter, as an especially dangerous element from the civilian population disruptive of all order, the carriers of the JEWISH-BOLSHEVIK worldview. There is no doubt that wherever he can, he will use his weapon of disintegration deviously and from behind against the German military engaged in battle or pacifying the land. The troops therefore have the right and obligation to secure themselves fully and effectively against these disintegrative powers."
The opening section of the instructions on guidelines for the behavior of German troops stated: "BOLSHEVISM IS THE DEADLY ENEMY OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE. This disintegrative worldview and its carriers must be combated by Germany. This struggle demands ruthless and energetic measures against bolshevist agitators, guerrillas, saboteurs, Jews, and complete elimination of any active or passive resistance."
IN ALL OF THIS, ONE CANNOT HELP BUT NOTE THE CONNECTION THAT IS MADE BETWEEN COMMUNISM (Bolshevism) AND THE JEWS, A CONNECTION THAT GERMANY'S BUSINESSMEN COULD USE TO TURN THEIR WAR AGAINST SOCIALISM INTO A RELIGIOUS CRUSADE, the kind that makes it possible for people to justify killing others.

Beams writes:
"The most powerful sections of the ... [business community] were united on the need ... to crush the organized working class. However, Hindenburg [Germany's president] had refused to install Hitler, because of early concerns in the German elite about handing power to the Nazis-a gang of upstarts and semi-criminal types from the lower orders of society. BUT BY THE END OF 1932, IT WAS BECOMING INCREASINGLY APPARENT THAT THE POSSIBILE INCONVENIENCES OF A NAZI REGIME WERE VASTLY OUTWEIGHED BY THE DANGER OF A RISING TIDE OF SOCIALISM ... FOR THE GERMAN ELITES, THE ABORTED SOCIALIST REVOLUTIONS IN GERMANY IN THE EARLY 1920S WAS STILL FRESH IN THEIR MINDS."

THE MYTH OF "MERITOCRACY"
Hitler rejected socialism because, as he said,
"The Jewish doctrine of Marxism rejects the aristocratic principle of Nature and replaces the eternal privilege of power and strength by the mass of numbers and their dead weight."
Hitler went on to say,
"The significance of Syndicalism [see note below] and its outgrowth Bolshevism can hardly be overestimated. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the most terrible social phenomenon that the world has ever seen. In Syndicalism we have for the first time in history a full-fledged philosophy of the Under-Man-the prologue of that vast revolt against civilization which, with Russian Bolshevism has actually begun. ... This philosophy of the Under-Man is today called Bolshevism."
"Bolshevism was the arch-enemy of civilization and race, it threatened to 'degrade every fiber of our being' and ultimately 'hurl a barbarized, racially impoverished world into the most debased and hopeless of magnetizations'. Therefore, Bolshevism had to be crushed 'no matter what the cost'."
NOTE: Syndicalism is a type of economic system proposed as a replacement for capitalism. It postulates that labor unions are the potential means of both overcoming economic aristocracy and running society fairly IN THE INTEREST OF THE MAJORITY, through union democracy. Industry in a syndicalist system would be run through co-operative confederations and mutual aid. Local syndicates would communicate with other syndicates through the Bourse du Travail (labor exchange) which would manage and transfer commodities.
PROFESSOR C. WRIGHT MILLS
Commenting on Hitler's belief in the "aristocratic principle of Nature," C. Wright Mills of Columbia writes:
"It is, of course, the proud claim of the higher circles in America [and Europe] that their members are entirely self-made. That is their self-image and their well-publicized myth. Popular proof of this is based on anecdotes; its scholarly proof is supposed to rest upon statistical rituals whereby it is shown that varying proportions of the men and women at the top are the sons and daughters of men of lower rank. (But, as we have already seen, the proportion of men and women who have risen into the elite from humble backgrounds is very, very small indeed - no more than 10 percent)."

Mills continues,
"PEOPLE WITH ADVANTAGES ARE LOATH TO BELIEVE THAT THEY JUST HAPPEN TO BE PEOPLE WITH ADVANTAGES. THEY COME READILY TO DEFINE THEMSELVES AS INHERENTLY WORTHY OF WHAT THEY POSSESS; they come to believe themselves 'naturally' elite; and, in fact, to imagine their possessions and their privileges as natural extensions of their own elite selves. In this sense, the idea of the elite as composed of men and women having a finer moral character is an ideology of the elite as a privileged ruling stratum, and this is true whether the ideology is elite-made or made up for it by others."

MONEY MAKES BEASTS OUT OF US ALL

But Camara was right at least on one point when he wrote:
"I used to think, when I was a child, that Christ might have been exaggerating when He warned about the dangers of wealth. Today I know better. I know how ... (impossible) it is to be rich and still keep the milk of human kindness. Money (or the desire for money) has a dangerous way of putting scales on one's eyes, a dangerous way of freezing people's hands, eyes, lips and hearts."
The apostle Peter says of those who desire wealth (i.e., who are covetous),
"These are wells without water, clouds that are carried (about) with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever." (2 Pet. 2:17)
The plain fact of the matter is, the people who comprise the American elite are selfish, small-minded and amazingly petty individuals whose lives revolve around only one thing: the pursuit of wealth. These are people like David H. Koch of Wichita, Kansas - he is chairman of Koch Industries; David Friess, an investment banker who claims that the most important thing in his life is his belief in Christ as his savior - and this despite the fact that much of his wealth was acquired through ruthless business practices which contradict the teachings of the Bible: he is the current president of the Council on National Policy (please see our article, "Council On National Policy"); Charles Schwab of Charles Schwab and Company; Jerome V. Ansel of Boca Raton, President of St. Andrews Reality; Stanley Druckenmiller of New York, Managing Director of the Soros Fund (which specializes in a high stakes and risky stock activity called "hedge betting"), etc., etc.

The only real concern of the rich centers around their greedy, self-absorbed life-styles and their preoccupation with piling up ever greater amounts of material wealth and worldly treasure. And for what purpose? - there is none! Jesus was certainly right when He said: "No man can serve two masters: for either he will HATE the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON." (Matthew 6:24) |
The only real concern of such people centers around their greedy, self-absorbed life-styles and their preoccupation with piling up ever greater amounts of material wealth and worldly treasure. And for what purpose? - there is none! Remarkably, that's it: the accumulation of money! - that's their goal! There is nothing beyond that except an eerie and frightening emptiness. The sad thing for the rest of the public, however, is that whenever such people rule a society, that society is corrupted to the degree that these people come to dominate it.
Some people, of course, will say that we are being too harsh in our condemnation of the economic elite. That certainly there is something more behind their accumulation of wealth; that some kind of "greater good" lies at the heart of what they're doing; that these people have a goal beyond the mere acquisition of earthly treasure. But they're wrong! - for the moneyed-elite, there is nothing more! This is as far as their thinking goes. Covetousness (i.e., the psychological drive to accumulate wealth) has blinded them - and what a terrible blindness it is!
Mills writes,
"The pursuit of the moneyed-life is ... (the elite's) commanding value, in relation to which the influence of other values has declined, so ... (that they have) easily become morally ruthless in its pursuit ..."
"(They have) narrowed the meaning of 'success' to big money and in these terms condemn failure as the chief vice, raising money to the plane of absolute value."

It's this utter abandonment of all private convictions - of any concept of what's "right" or "wrong" - which leads to one of their most abhorrent and disgusting traits: specifically, their heartless and cruel way they treat all those who they perceive stand in their way. Moreover, they are loathsome in the fact that they have been emptied of all their humanity and concern for anything beyond themselves - though they all too often possess an uncanny and extraordinary way of hiding this fact behind a pretense of flattery and charm. Indeed, Peter warned,
"For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure (people) ... through much wantonness ..." (2 Pet. 2:18)

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will HATE the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON." (Matthew 6:24)
Sadly, however, we are loathe to take any of this seriously - AND IT IS PRECISELY FOR THAT REASON THAT SO MANY OF US WILL FAIL IN THE "END OF DAYS;" THAT SO MANY OF US WILL HEAR THOSE DREADFUL WORDS:
"... Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
"For many are called, but few are chosen." (Matthew 22:13-14)
Once again, I urge you to listen to me: There is a trap being laid for our souls, and it is EXACTLY the same trap that was laid for the German people in the 1930s and early '40s, ONLY ON A MUCH MORE MASSIVE SCALE AND WITH BAIT THAT NONE OF US SUSPECT - i.e., the Islamic community - AND IT'S OUR LOVE OF MONEY THAT BLINDS US TO THE DANGER THAT SURROUNDS US AND CAUSES US TO ALLY OURSELVES WITH THE "RICHY-RICHES" OF THIS WORLD - PEOPLE WHO DESIRE TO MAKE MONSTERS OUT OF ALL OF US.
