UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU WILL
BE FACING DURNG THE TRIBULATION

We are today locked in an intense struggle with regard to the Prophetic Scriptures; the conflict revolves around the question, Should these Scriptures be allowed to become a mechanism to divide the Church?

There are many who say "NO!" - among whom are my erstwhile colleagues Dene McGriff and Doug Krieger, with whom, I am very sad to say, my own twin brother is now "in league."

However, I say "YES!" To say otherwise is tantamount to allowing people to reduce God's Word to the lowest common denominator; to a baby pabulum that anyone can swallow.

Trying to fight the misdirection and even heresy in today's evangelical church while remaining a part of it - as so many want to do - will most likely prove an impossible task for anyone who tries. It isn't that there are not countless numbers of godly men and women who are part of this church and who fervently love the Lord and who are honestly seeking to do His will; it's just that they are a part of an institution that is, unfortunately, going in the wrong direction, and there is nothing they can do - other than tampering with odds and ends on the periphery - to change that. It's like someone who is walking west towards New York on a ship that is sailing east towards London and who thinks that by doing so he can with much effort at last reach New York. It's impossible!

The fact of the matter is, the Word of God does divide! - Jesus said:

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? ... Nay; but rather division:

"For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

"The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (Luke 12:51-53)

And be clear here, Jesus was NOT speaking to "unbelievers," but to His own disciples!! Moreover, Jesus went on to say that as the "end of days" draws near, this conflict will grow PHYSICAL - even to the extent that your "brothers in Christ" will -

"... deliver you up to the [religious] councils, and they will SCOURGE you in their synagogues [churches] ...

"And the brother shall deliver up the brother to DEATH, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to DEATH." (Matthew 10:17, 21)

All this, however, seems to fall on deaf ears. It seems that Christians REFUSE to be separated from their so-called "brethren in Christ" for any reason. For example, Dene McGriff early on succumbed to his wife's blandishments (as well as the entreaties of his daughter and son-in-law) that we in Antipas were being too harsh with regard to today's apostate church; Doug Krieger continues to attend Capitol Christian Center in Sacramento - a church that openly supports America's New World Order System and sees fit to invite such purveyors of apostasy as Bennie Hinn and others of his ilk to speak from its pulpit. It's in the light of all this that I bring to your attention an email I received several weeks ago from a brother in Canada:

"I have read all your words and disputes with Dene and Doug K. How come you, Mr. Shearer, returned back to Babylon when you tell everyone else to flee? I'm very confused about this. Would you please address this issue and post your answer on your website so all your readers can see the light of Christ shine through you.

"I read both Antipas and Tribulation Network and am not picking sides. I just want clarification and honesty. It's really sad when followers of Christ fight and argue. Dividing the body of Christ is a clever tactic used by the devil. But you know all this and choose to ignore it. It just diminishes your effectiveness as you seek to [serve] Christ.

I replied to his query, and received the following email back from him:

"Thank you for your reply.

"I understand from your article that you are still making plans to get out of the U.S.A. [Again, please see our article, "OUR FAILURE IN CANADA."]

"So what happens if there is another so called terrorist attack and the border is slammed shut? Will that mean you are doomed?

"What about Canada? Should we flee to get as far away from the U.S.A so we don't get sucked into the same vortex? I don't trust our current Prime Minister Harper because he is a conservative, right leaning evangelical sort and would quickly follow the U.S. We would also be in Iraq if he had been in power at the time. I await your reply.

Brothers and sisters, let me be very clear with you: "RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF GOD IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL in these, the "end of days" - and this is especially true for Christians in the United States. And why is that? - because the Bible warns that those Christians who choose to stay in the United States are in very grave danger of not only "making shipwreck their faith," but of becoming active participants in the sins of God's great enemy, "Babylon" (i.e., America). Take a good, hard look at Revelation 18:4 and judge for yourself:

Rev 18:4 can be divided into three parts:

• FIRST, the commandment itself: "COME OUT OF HER."

• SECOND, the REASON why we must "Come out."

• THIRD, the JUDGMENT that will accrue to us if we fail to obey the heavenly command.

The first part speaks for itself: "COME OUT" - Most Christians in the United States want to believe that this verse applies only to the "Apostate Church," as if there is no PHYSICALITY attached to Babylon. But that, of course, is absurd. As the great Bible expositor F.C. Jennings tells us, Babylon the Great is a two-part entity, physical Babylon [America] and religious Babylon [America's apostate church], and the two are indissolubly co-related: To escape the one NECESSITATES escaping the other. Hence, the words of Scripture "Come out of her" must also mean - in addition to leaving the "Apostate Church" - emigrating out of the United States.

And now we come to the second part of Rev. 18:4, the REASON why we must "Come out of her." The reason is:

"... THAT YE BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS ..."

The power of Babylon to corrupt - and corrupt UTTERLY.

Now this is VERY important! The reason that the Lord gives is NOT because we face martyrdom if we fail to do so, as most Christians naively suppose. What God is concerned about here is that if we stay in Babylon we will be TAINTED by Babylon's sin and spiritually CORRUPTED, as is happening right now to another two of my erstwhile colleagues, Gloria Cooper and Bob Mertes. They have both fallen into the HATE-TRAP being propagated to the American people by Fox News and other conservative new outlets (see below).

When one so cavalierly dismisses the ability of Babylon to corrupt (as both Doug and Dene so very obviously do, and who then teach others like Gloria and Bob to do the same), it only proves that such a person does not appreciate the POWER of Babylon to contaminate one's soul. The fact of the matter is, just as the life (so to speak) of the Nazi state became so intertwined and twisted together with the lives of Germany's individual citizens that it became impossible to function any longer as a human being in Germany without at the same time being involved intimately with the crimes of that nation, SO NOW IT IS FAST BECOMING IMPOSSIBLE TO FUNCTION ANY LONGER AS AN INDIVIDUAL IN THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT BECOMING INVOLVED IN THE GREAT WICKEDNESS THIS COUNTRY IS VISITING ON THE REST OF THE WORLD.

And that brings us to the third part of Revelation 18:4. - the JUDGMENT that will accrue to us if we fail to obey the heavenly command and - as a result - become "partakers in her sins:" We will be JUDGED with Babylon and the people of Babylon:

"... (1) come out of her, my people, that ye (2) be not partakers of her sins, and (3) THAT YE RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES (judgments)." (Rev. 18:4)

And here I cannot begin to tell you of the number of people who joined Doug and Dene in their folly and followed them out of the ministry - and so much so that many of them have now joined in the general clamor against Obama and the Muslim community as both Bob Mertes and Gloria Cooper (who at one time were very clear about these matters) have done. They have UTTERLY fallen for the trap laid out for them by the Neo-Cons of the American New World Order System and Fox News, and are actively engaged in HATE-SPEAK against both Obama and the Muslim community. THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES IN THE CHOICES ONE MAKES - AND IF ONE DECIDES TO FOLLOW DENE AND DOUG IN THEIR TITANIC FOLLY, THERE WILL BE A HEAVY PRICE TO BE PAID "ON THAT DAY."

So let us now examine the folly to which both Doug and Dene are leading you.

INTRODUCTION: I'M SHOCKED!

As I have indicated previously, I am totally shocked and "flabbergasted" at how Christians are able to disregard God's command in Revelation 18:4.

You must understand something here: This is NOT a suggestion; it's NOT a "clever" proposal that someone can take or reject at his convenience; it's NOT simply "good" advice; it's NOT just a recommendation; it is a COMMANDMENT; it is a holy DICTATE; it is a divine DECREE, and it must be treated as such. It MUST be obeyed!

Moreover there is NO hint here - NONE AT ALL - that should give any justification whatsoever to anyone to believe that the Lord will consider favorably any reason for disobedience. The Lord does not say, "Those of you who are able, Come Out;" or "Those of you who don't have the money to do so, you are excused," or "Those of you who don't have your sh-t together, you are pardoned;" or "Those of you who are too deeply in debt, you are permitted to remain behind;" or "Those of you whose spouses and loved ones refuse to follow you, you will be forgiven for not obeying;" or "Those of you who are sick, or who have relatives who are sick, or those of you who have been unable to secure a job where you are going - you too are excused;" ad nauseum, ad infinitum. The COMMANDMENT is simple - "Come out" and that's the end of it!

THE KING MUST BE OBEYED -
IF HE IS IN FACT YOUR KING

Where is there any room for argument, discussion, or debate here? Where is there any space to believe that God will excuse your DISOBEDIENCE? There is none! The COMMANDMENT to YOU is "COME OUT." Obedience is what's demanded, and nothing else. This is the KING speaking, not "good ol' Uncle Eddie" down the street hollering at you to get off his lawn.

The King MUST be obeyed! IF He is YOUR King, you MUST obey Him. The simple question in all of this is: Is Christ king over your life? If He is, you will OBEY Him; if not, you won't.

The proof of your discipleship insofar as the King is concerned is your OBEDIENCE to Him. Jesus said,

"... A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:

"And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.

"AND THEY ALL WITH ONE CONSENT BEGAN TO MAKE EXCUSE. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee HAVE ME EXCUSED. [In addition, Matt. 8:21 says, "Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father."]

"And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee HAVE ME EXCUSED.

"And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I CANNOT COME.

"So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being ANGRY said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.

"For I say unto you, That NONE OF THOSE MEN WHICH WERE BIDDEN SHALL TASTE OF MY SUPPER.

"And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

"IF ANY MAN COME TO ME, AND HATE NOT HIS FATHER, AND MOTHER, AND WIFE, AND CHILDREN, AND BRETHREN, AND SISTERS, YEA, AND HIS OWN LIFE ALSO, HE CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE.

"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, CANNOT be my disciple." (Luke 14:16-21, 24-27)

THERE IS PHYSICALITY ATTACHED TO BABYLON

Of course, both Doug K. and Dene contend that we are being altogether carnal in our interpretation of Revelation 18:4. For example, Doug K. has written:

"The only separation that counts from the world is spiritual - not physical ... We are 'in' the world, but not 'of' the world."

How "carnal" of us! How "worldly!" How "temporal!" How "UNSPIRITUAL" - at least that's certainly what Doug K. and Dene believe: That there is no PHYSICALITY attached to Babylon. After all, as we have said on previous occasions, it's so much easier for Christians to think that the only thing they have to do to "come out of her" is to "come out" of the "apostate church." To suggest that to escape "Religious Babylon" necessitates escaping "Physical Babylon" (i.e., America) makes everything so much more difficult.

The Woman and the Beast

But, as we just pointed out, there is a physical reality attached to Babylon as well as a religious reality - and the physical reality of Babylon is as profound and intense as its religious reality, and just as deadly. Babylon the Great is depicted in Scripture as a two-part entity: a woman riding a beast. The great Bible expositor, F.C. Jennings, writes:

"Turning then to the seventeenth chapter of the Book of Revelation, we see the whole stage filled with two personalities only: a 'Beast' and a 'Woman' ... There can be no argument or discussion as to this speaking of both the CIVIL [political, economic, and military] and ECCLESIASTICAL [religious] conditions [of the country] ... the 'Beast' (which answers to the Civil Power) and the 'Woman' (which answers to the Religious Power) are thus INDISSOLUBLY co-related ..."

The "beast" and the "woman" INDISSOLUBLY co-related? - is that what Jennings is saying here? Yes! - that's precisely what he is saying! And plainly, if these two dimensions of Babylon are so intertwined, doesn't there have to be a physical aspect to the command "COME OUT OF HER?" Plainly so! - and if that's true, doesn't that suggest that to escape the one (i.e., the "apostate church") NECESSITATES escaping the other (i.e., the United States). Hence, the words of Scripture "Come out of her" must also mean - in addition to leaving the "apostate church" - emigrating out of the United States.

Again, I realize that it is so much easier to believe that the only thing that we have to do to "come out of her" is to "come out" of the "apostate church" - the church of John Hagee, Rod Parsley, D. James Kennedy, Charles Stanley, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, C. Peter Wagner, et. al. But that won't accomplish much by itself! I say again, a break-out from the one (i.e., Spiritual Babylon" or the "Apostate Church") necessitates a break-out from the other (i.e., the United States). What other conclusion is possible?

DO NOT MAKE THE SOPHOMORIC MISTAKE ...

Finally, in all of this please don't make the asinine and sophomoric mistake that some do (for example, Gloria Cooper and Bob Mertes) who say that eventually all the world will become part of the American New World Order System; and, therefore, to leave the United States will - in the long run - accomplish little or nothing for you. THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE! THAT'S A CONVENIENT BUT VERY WICKED CONTRIVANCE AND SUBTERFUGE.

Now it's true, all the world will eventually be absorbed by the American New World Order System, just as all of Europe was eventually conquered and absorbed by Nazi Germany; but there was still a great difference to be remarked upon insofar as Germany's conquered territories were concerned (i.e., France, Denmark, Poland, the Ukraine, Norway, Holland, Belgium, etc.) and Germany herself; and there was a GREAT DISTINCTION to be remarked upon insofar as the conduct of these different populations were concerned vis a vis the people of Germany.

Germany in dark red; all other countries were Germany's satellite states (including even Italy in the end) except those shown in green and bright yellow.

Germany's population actually PARTICIPATED in Germany's crimes; the population of Germany's "slave states" SUFFERED as a result of these crimes. There is a huge difference here; it is, to put it in the vernacular, the difference between the "screwer" and the "screwee;" the difference between the one who is being raped, and the one who is doing the raping; the difference between the perpetrator and the victim; the difference between MASTER and SLAVE - SO ALSO INSOFAR AS AMERICA IS CONCERNED vis a vis HER CLIENT-STATES, i.e., HER SLAVE-STATES.

GETTING BACK TO DOUG AND DENE

Getting back to Doug K. and Dene - I have to snicker a little at both Doug K. and Dene because neither one of them has ever seen the POWER and BRUTALITY of a super-state up close as I did in Vietnam as a member of the 525^th Intelligence Group and as someone very closely connected to the Phoenix Program. [Please see "About S.R. Shearer."] 

While it's true that Dene was a member of the intelligence community, he was NEVER really given access to the "inner-workings" of that community because his grandfather had been a Communist. Instead, he spent his time in the military giving students instruction in the prosaic and mundane art of "Photo-Imagery" at Ft. Huachuca in Arizona. Later on he did work for a number of so-called Christian NGOs in South America that were connected to the American New World Order System, but he never seems to have come to grips with what these NGOs were really all about, which was very, very naïve of him. [Please see our article, "The American Empire: The Corporate / Pentagon / CIA / Missionary Archipelago;" also, "The Death Squads: Bringing in the Kingdom of God through Terror, Torture and Death."]

Indeed, Dene seems to have been as naïve about what he was involved in, in South America as Pat Robertson, Cubie Ward, and all the rest of them were. [Again, please see "The Death Squads: Bringing in the Kingdom of God through Terror, Torture and Death."].

And as for Krieger, he has ALWAYS been naïve about such things - and so much so that he was at one time closely linked to Ed McAteer, one of the biggest "movers and shakers" in the business community insofar as linking the church up to the Political Right.

He also was a big supporter of Gospel Outreach's effort to prop up Rios Montt, a BRUTAL dictator who seized control of Guatemala in 1982 after a BLOODY coup. [Please see our article, "Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the Earth."]

Ed McAteer (L) and Rios Montt (R) - both firm believers in Christian Dominionism. [Please see our article, "Dominionism: The Theology of Today's Anti-Government Movement;" for more on Rios Montt, please see our sidebar in Chapter XIII of the New Antipas Papers which deals with the relationship Rios Montt had with Gospel Outreach.]

In addition to all that, Krieger has also been tightly connected over the years with a number of DOMINIONISTS who are seeking to bind Israel to the United States by means of a Defense Pact - and so much so that a good many of his Israeli and Christian friends were implicated in a plot to blow up the Dome of the Rock (and were denounced in the Knesset because of their involvement). All were (are) advocates of DOMINIONISM. (Krieger has never adequately explained his involvement.) You can't get more "dominionist" than that - i.e. being involved in this kind of bloody work. Some will think that all this is "really exciting," but those who think this way only prove that they have little inkling about what the Kingdom of God is all about. Jesus told His disciples,

"Put up thy sword: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." (Matthew 26"52) [Please see our article, "The Superman Theology of the International Christian Embassy;" please also see our article dealing with the above referenced treaty, "The Theory of the Just War;" also Part 2 of Chapter XV of the New Antipas Papers, "A Contrived Hatred."]

All this to say nothing of Dene and Doug's obscene efforts to tap into various money schemes over the years; specifically, Dene's effort to avail himself of the ill-gotten fortune of Imelda Marcus, and Krieger's effort to tap into a scheme involving Indian bonds that the Russian Mafioso supposedly controls.

If their dalliance in these affairs does not give one pause as to their "Love of Money" (which is, as the Bible suggests, "The Root of ALL Evil" - 1 Timothy 6:10) I don't know what will! - And these are the ones who are telling Christians to beware of us because we ask those who support our stand regarding the Prophetic Scriptures to help us out financially? [Please see "Addendum 1" on this matter at the end of this paper.]

Their blood will not be on my hands.

The tragic fact of the matter is, both Dene and Doug K. are so wound up in compromising the Word of God so as to make it more palatable to their American readers that it is little wonder they can't see where they are going anymore.

If people choose to listen to them (and most Christians no doubt will do so), then so be it! - but their blood will not be on my hands. (Please see Ezekiel 33:2-6)

In them (and those who choose to follow them) is fulfilled the Scripture:

"They (Doug K. and Dene) be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." (Matthew 15:14)

INTRODUCTION

Now there is a very somber reason we made reference to Dene and Doug's naivety with regard to the BRUTALITY of the American New World Order System; and the reason is this: They are greatly under-estimating what the Tribulation is all about, and most particularly, insofar as it relates to the United States - AND THEY ARE INVOLVING OTHERS IN THEIR NAIVETY AS WELL.

We can begin to get some idea as to what Christians in the United States will face if they fail to obey Christ's command to "COME OUT OF HER" (Rev. 18:4) by studying what happened to Hitler's opponents in the first few months of the Third Reich; and we take as a point of reference what actually occurred in a small town in Lower Saxony during the months of January through July, 1933. 

THE REDUCTION OF "GOOD PEOPLE" TO QUIVERING
PARTICIPANTS IN THE CRIMES OF THE NAZI STATE 

Nordheim

William Sheridan Allen writes in his superb book, THE NAZI SEIZURE OF POWER: The Experience of a Single German Town,

"The Nazi's had to prove in the first months after the appointment of Hitler as chancellor that they were willing to use the power apparatus in a ruthless and effective way. If this could be done, if Nordheimers came to believe implicitly that they might expect no mercy from their new Nazi rulers, then later terrorism would not be needed. The initial investment of terror would multiply itself through rumor and social reinforcement until opposition would be looked upon as wholly futile.

"This is precisely what the Nazis of Nordheim did. Roughly by July 1933, any Nordheimer who had his wits about him knew that he no longer lived in personal freedom, that if he were even indiscreet the whole arsenal of the police state might be used against him. At the very least he might expect a raid and search of his house; at the worst the vaguely comprehended but deeply dreaded experience of the concentration camp ...

"The homes of potential or actual opponents were repeatedly ransacked and various people were arrested. This was done under the public eye, to increase its deterrent effect. In the first six months after Hitler became chancellor, the local press in Nordheim reported, on fourteen different occasions, that house searchings had taken place. It also listed twenty-two people (most by name) who had been arrested for political reasons.

"Not all arrests and house searchings were reported in the press, but enough were made known so that the public received a good impression of what was going on. Furthermore, the way in which police actions were reported was enough to give the townspeople an idea of the generally arbitrary nature of such actions.

"Thus it was reported on March 14 that Deppe [a leader of the socialist party in Nordheim] ... had been arrested 'for reasons which in consideration of the investigation must be kept secret'. The next day he was released with no further explanation. He was then arrested again on the afternoon of the first meeting of the City Council [of which he was still a member], and this time the reason given was that he was 'suspected of having spread reports of an antigovernmental nature ...

"Most persons arrested in the early months of the Nazi regime were taken to the county jail. Exactly what happened to them there was not clear to Nordheimers, but it was clear that it was something extraordinary. In mid-March the GGZ [a Nordheim newspaper] reported:

'As we hear, eight of the eighteen Communists who are presently in our county jail (all from Nordheim) have now applied for membership in the Nazi party. Is it possible that the good influence of our hardworking jailer who watches over them has succeeded in making itself felt? In any event, they seem to have broken fully and finally with the unholy Bolshevism'.

"Whatever went on in the county jail was probably considered preferable to other possibilities. Already in March the GGZ published a picture of the first concentration camp at Dachau with the text noting that there was room for five thousand political prisoners.

"By the end of that month the Nordheim county jail was full and three Communists had to be taken to the 'Moringen Workhouse'. What this meant was only rumored, but by mid-July it was reported that 'nine prisoners were taken this morning by the Nordheim police to Moringen where seven were delivered to the Concentration Camp and two to the workhouse'. Henceforth Nordheimers knew that there was a concentration camp within driving distance.

"Actually, the press reports were considerably behind the reality. The Moringen Concentration Camp, located at the other end of the county from Nordheim, was founded in early April 1933 to take the overflow of political prisoners from the city of Hanover and from other jails in the area. The immense number of persons taken into 'protective custody' (meaning they were being held without resort to habeas corpus) in March were more than the regular jails could hold. Though the Moringen Workhouse was a state institution, the adjacent and newly created camp was, from its beginning, staffed by the SS. Originally the camp was to hold only Communists, including eleven members from Nordheim county, but by the end of April (1933 - three months into the Hitler Dictatorship) it had over three hundred inmates of mixed composition. The prisoners were forced to do road repair, read Nazi newspapers, attend church, hear Nazi speakers, and march in Nazi propaganda parades ...

They're coming for you!

"Though the numbers and composition of the Moringen Concentration Camp continued to change thenceforth (for a while it was exclusively a women's prison - the Nazis did not hold back from arresting women) it became a permanent fixture of the Third Reich and grew until by 1944 there were over seven hundred inmates. Since prisoners from Nordheim County were frequently released, and since at least two dozen of the SS guards were from Nordheim County, some notion of what being condemned to a concentration camp signified must have gotten back to the people of Nordheim. Such information was undoubtedly imprecise, but for purposes of creating an atmosphere of terror, vague knowledge was probably the most effective.

The list

"The press reports also made it clear that if the Nazis were after someone, they would get him on one account or another. Such was the only conclusion to be drawn from the case of a worker who was arrested and apparently promised his liberty if he revealed where guns and ammunition were hidden. He gave this information to the police and was then set free. But a short time later he was re-arrested and sentenced to prison for 'insulting a police officer'.

"The reasons given for arrests were very minor, which created the impression that anything worse would be all the more severely dealt with ... Thus it seems clear that the public in Nordheim had a good idea, by mid-summer 1933, that even to express oneself against the new system was to invite persecution. In fact, not only were Nordheimers aware of this situation, but by their very awareness they reinforced the actual terror apparatus. Each time someone in Nordheim cautioned his neighbor or friend, he was strengthening the general atmosphere of fear.

"... Other people claimed to know of the existence of a 'list' (though they had never seen it) of people to be proscribed [i.e., hunted down] at some future date. 'It was a black list; there were eighty people on it'. 'It was made up of four groups, A, B, C and D. The A people were to be shot; the B people put in concentration camps; the C people ...' 'I never saw the list myself, but everyone knew it existed ...

"The Gestapo became extraordinarily efficient by reason of rumors and fears. It was unnecessary for the Nazis to suggest that someone who had no swastika flag buy one.

"Maria Habenichts, in her kind neighborliness, took care of that for them by cautioning the flagless person, and 'letting her in on what one had to do'. Given the atmosphere, of terror, even people who were friends felt they must betray each other to survive ...

"Ratting out" one's friends and neighbors became necessary for survival in the Third Reich because if the Gestapo found out that a person had known something and not reported it, he (she) would be arrested also.

"The Nazis created an atmosphere of terror and intimidation and let natural social forces do the rest ... Even leaders of the old SPD came to the point where they advised their followers to 'Join the [Nazi] Party. Think of your family. There's nothing to be gained by acts of heroism ...'"

By the end of 1934, German citizens everywhere had been reduced to quivering participants in the crimes of the Nazi state - AND ALL THIS HAD BEEN ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT RESORT TO TODAY'S SURVELLIANCE TECHNOLOGY.

Now this really happened, and it should not be assumed that the German people were a nation of cowards. THEY WERE NOT!

My erstwhile colleague, Dene McGriff, fell early on under the ether of Tim LaHaye's LEFT BEHIND series of books, which in reality were nothing more than a restatement of the TURNER DIARIES - with a Christian twist.

NOTE: The Turner Diaries is a novel written in 1978 by William Luther Pierce (former leader of the white Nationalist organization National Alliance) under the pseudonym "Andrew Macdonald." The Turner Diaries depicts a violent revolution in the United States which leads to the overthrow of the United States federal government, nuclear war, and, ultimately, to the extermination of all Jews and non-whites, leaving an all-white world population of fifty million. The novel was initially only available through mail order and at gun shows, and partially serialized in National Alliance publications. The novel is now available for sale through mainstream book sources (ISBN 1-56980-086-3), or freely available from white supremacist websites. The novel has been associated with a number of real-life violent crimes. Most notably, some have suggested that a scene depicting preparation for the bombing of the FBI national headquarters served as the inspiration for the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 by Timothy McVeigh, who had promoted the book. After the bombing, Pierce was quoted as saying it was proof that "someone may have read the book." Insofar as the story-line behind the Left Behind series is concerned, the action takes place after the Rapture. Millions of people suddenly vanish and frantic "survivors" of the disappearances begin their search for their friends and families, as well as answers to what has happened. Among them are pilot Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe Steele, and Bruce Barnes, who begin to discover that the Rapture has taken place. Meanwhile, a young journalist, Cameron "Buck" Williams, follows an unknown, but charming, Romanian politician named Nicolae Carpathia, who quickly attracts millions of followers. Carpathia rises to become secretary-general of the United Nations, promising to restore peace and stability to all nations. What most of the world does not realize is that Carpathia is actually the Antichrist foretold by the Bible. Coming to grips with the truth and becoming born-again Christians, Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe, their pastor Bruce Barnes, and young journalist Cameron "Buck" Williams begin their quest as the "Tribulation Force" to help save the lost and prepare for the coming Tribulation. What evidently attracted Dene to LaHaye's series of sixteen books was not so much the pre-tribulational theory of the Rapture which undergirded the series, but rather all the excitement of raising up a band of "Christian irregulars" in the United States after the appearance of the Anti-Christ to battle the "forces of hell" during the Tribulation Period.

But again, Dene and his cohort, Doug K. are greatly under-estimating the power of the Super-State that they will be opposing, at least here in the United States. As I have said previously, their naivety with regard to this matter is monumental. After all, one cannot preach the Gospel from solitary confinement in a prison cell, or quivering in one's living room.

Super-Max in United States - if you're lucky; tiger cages like those used in Vietnam when the Super-Max prisons fill up.

PRISON OR SPEAKING OUT FOR CHRIST

All this brings me to the matter of "serving time" for Christ in PRISON - which is surely where you will end up within the next few years if you speak out for Christ in the United States - at least the Christ of the New Testament!

Yes, it's true that those who are truly led by the Spirit will be able to stand in the face of all this (i.e., going to prison); but - sadly - I have found that most of those who make blasé statements to the effect that they are not frightened by the prospect of prison have usually NOT been walking in the spirit; and their claim that they are not frightened results from the fact that THEY DON'T REALLY BELIEVE THAT SUCH THINGS CAN HAPPEN TO THEM. And more to the point (and while they would never admit it), they are too comfortably ensconced in the midst of Babylon to seriously consider doing anything MEANINGFUL about their precarious situation.

It's IDIOTIC for such people to think that suddenly they will be possessed of the necessary courage to endure what they will be called upon to endure when - without warning - they are actually confronted with the prospect of prison.

Most likely, they will fold in the face of it (to their ETERNAL shame); after all, spiritual courage does not develop in a person over night." [And I know what I am talking about here: When I was in Saigon forty-one years ago as an American intelligence officer attached to the Combined Intelligence Center there (CICV), I had a number of occasions to visit the NIC (the National Interrogation Center), and I can tell you, you don't want to end up in a place like that!]

THE SAINTS OF MATTHEW CHAPTER TEN

Yes, the Bible does say,

"... they (i.e., those who oppose the real message of Jesus Christ - so-called "Christians" or otherwise) will deliver you up to the councils ...

"And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

"But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

"For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." (Matt. 10:17-20)

However, you must realize something here: Jesus was not speaking in these verses to the kind of silly prisses that characterize so much of today's American Christianity - people who think that God's only purpose is to make them happy in this life and in this world; the kind of witless wimps who think that God "exists" for their pleasure - i.e., to make them happy and successful, to provide them with a good husband or a good wife, etc. - and who think that "making a sacrifice for God" is occasionally putting a little "extra" in the "offering plate" when it is passed on Sunday mornings. Or more, those people who - knowing something of the "Great Deception" of the "end of days" (2 Thess. 2:3) - imagine that their only duty is to sit blithely (and comfortably) behind their computer screens pontificating to others on the "end of days" and comforting them with the words that "God will take care of them" and "everything will be okay" - WHICH IS PRECISELY THE MESSAGE THAT DOUG AND DENE ARE PURVEYING TO CHRISTIANS IN THE UNITED STATES TODAY.

Again, these are prisses who would never think to march in a parade like those of us at Antipas Ministries have done (for example, at the Republican National Convention) with a giant banner that reads "THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT AND THE BUSINESS RIGHT: AN ALLIANCE MADE IN HELL." SURVEILLANCE IN A POLICE STATE

If history is any guide, then we can be assured that ALL those who might be pre-disposed to say anything against the Anti-Christ within the boundaries of the United States will be "rounded up" and in jail within the first few months of the Anti-Christ's seizure of power. That's what happened in Germany - as we have shown - under conditions far less advanced technologically than they are in the United States today.

Many, many years ago, in his preface to Panopticon, Jeremy Bentham imagined the "social benefits" of a ring-shaped "inspection-house" in which prisoners, students, orphans or paupers could be subjected to constant surveillance. In the center of the courtyard would be an inspection tower with windows facing the inner wall of the ring. Supervisors in the central tower could observe every movement of the inhabitants in the cells, who were illuminated by natural lighting; but Venetian blinds would ensure that the supervisors could not be seen by the inhabitants.

THE UNCERTAINTY ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THEY WERE BEING SURVEILLED WOULD DETER THE INHABITANTS FROM ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR.

Foucault

Michael Foucault described the purpose of the Panopticon: "TO INDUCE IN THE INMATE A STATE OF CONSCIOUS AND PERMANENT VISIBILITY THAT ASSURES THE AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONING OF POWER." Foucault predicted that this condition of visible, unverifiable power, in which individuals have internalized the idea that they may always be under surveillance, would be the defining characteristic of the "modern age."

And Foucault was right. SURVEILLANCE IS A POWERFUL INDUCEMENT TOWARD SOCIAL CONFORMITY FOR CITIZENS. Under the all-seeing, watchful eye of the government, people begin very much to care who they are seen with. Constant surveillance causes people to change the way they live. They are not so quick to associate themselves with people or groups that the government might find objectionable; or that their church or employer might feel are unacceptable. Jobs are at stake, ostracism is a very real possibility. People find themselves doing little, unconscious things to please their employers, demonstrate their loyalty to the state, and "brown-nose" their pastors and other church officers. They behave in self-conscious ways under surveillance, ostentatiously trying to demonstrate their integrity or bristling at the implication of disloyalty to the powers that be, or at the slightest accusation of moral failure on their part which might brand them as "unreliable."

THE CREATION OF A NEW SURVEILLANCE STATE

And this reality is rapidly taking form before our very eyes. Since the events of September 11th, 2001, a TIDAL-WAVE of legislation and administrative fiats has turned the country into a Surveillance State.  Task forces of federal, military, state and local law enforcement and intelligence agencies, as well as private entities, are employing increased interaction, abundant funds, new laws, new technologies and new octopus-like data bases to spy on and harass activists of many stripes.

THIS IS ESPECIALLY SO IN THE CASE OF THOSE ACTIVISTS WHO HAVE BEEN DEMONSTRATING AGAINST THE INSTITUTIONS OF THE AMERICAN NEW WORLD ORDER SYSTEM - i.e., THE WTO, THE IMF, THE WORLD BANK AND THE G-8 SUMMITS.

The FBI and police are noting license plate numbers of people attending meetings and demonstrations, photographing people, paying informers to infiltrate groups, breaking into offices to steal mailing and contributor lists, rifling through files and carrying out "harassment arrests." Individual members of these groups are receiving FBI visits at their homes and workplaces.

The Bureau is sending anonymous letters to the person's colleagues implying that he or she is actually an informer; they are also involved in sending assorted poison-pen letters to employers, landlords and spouses designed to produce optimal distress. All this is the kind of activity one would have expected to see in the Third Reich or in the old Soviet Union. How is it possible for Christians to associate themselves with such a state and call it the "New Israel of God?"

DRIVERS' LICENSES

And believe me! - the government really does mean to catch you if you decide to speak out! That's exactly the reason the "The American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators" was formed - a little known bureaucracy that is laying the groundwork for constructing the requisite "surveillance mechanisms" that would be necessary for the smooth functioning of such a state. The government has turned to this group to accomplish in secret (and "under the table") what it knows would be very difficult to accomplish out in the open: the creation of an Orwellian surveillance state.

Jonathan Turley, a professor of law at George Washington University, reports that this obscure little group has been charged by the government with the responsibility for creating a de facto national identification card based on one's driver's license. In other words, our driver's licenses - while retaining much of their current "look" and their identification with state government - are being transformed into something much more than a state driver's license: a NATIONAL I.D. card - a kind of "human license plate" to "TRACK and RESTRICT the movements of ordinary citizens in the United States" (Turley's words). It is a card the government can quickly integrate into already existing governmental and business computer systems to become "the required form of identification" for activities ranging from driving to voting to banking, etc. Sadly, most people are hardly aware of what's happening.

Jonathan Turley is no right-wing nut; he is a professor of Law at George Washington University (D.C.) and a frequent guest on CNN and CNBC.

It's a perfect ruse: Using state drivers' licenses gives cover to advocates of the new National Security State to say that they're not creating a national security card, when - in effect - that's exactly what they're doing. To abet this ruse, the states are being encouraged to adopt differing "looks" to their licenses - in fact the bill mandates these differences; but in the end, they're all be the same, and they are being hooked (directly or indirectly) into the same database.

If a state's drivers' license does not meet the new standards, federal agencies (and the agencies of other states that participate in the new federal program) are being ordered not to accept it as valid identification for such purposes as boarding airplanes, trains and ships, making business and banking transactions, and many other common transactions of daily life.

Again, what this is doing is mandating in a very round about and circuitous manner a NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD by NATIONALIZING the drivers' licenses of the various states, standardizing them, and linking them together (directly or indirectly - it doesn't matter) to a national data base.

CELL PHONES

Do you use a cell phone? Is the actual phone you're using less than eight years old. If so, then the government knows EXACTLY where you are at any given time of the night or day - and often times whether your phone is on or off, and whether you are actually talking to someone or not! That's just one of the startling conclusions in Christian Parenti's new book, The Soft Cage: Surveillance in America. Parenti writes,

"More than 111 million Americans now carry mobile phones, each of which creates an electronic account of the user's location in time and space. Cell phones communicate with networks of transmission points that monitor and note a phone's location ... These records, stored by phone companies, can be subpoenaed when needed ...

"AND NOW, IN THE AGE OF TERROR AND PERMANENT EMERGENCY, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS ORDERED WIRELESS CARRIERS TO CREATE SYSTEMS FOR TRACKING MOBILE PHONES IN REAL TIME. AS A RESULT, THE LATEST WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICES CONTAIN BUILT-IN GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) CHIPS THAT TRANSMIT THE GADGET'S GEOGRAPHIC COORDINATES TO TWENTY-FOUR PENTAGON-MAINTAINED SATELLITES - TRACKING USERS AS THEY MOVE ... Thus, a convenience, an Information Age accessory, becomes an electronic tag."

THE GOVERNMENT KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE

Now, stop and think about what all this means: the government always knows where you are; and it is anticipated that eventually you will have to show your driver's license whenever you use your credit card - or, more likely, chips will be inserted into your credit card (without your knowledge) linking them directly to your driver's license - whenever you make a banking transaction, whenever you make a purchase, stay in a motel, rent a car, board a plane, train or ship, get medical services, obtain government services, rent an apartment, etc.  And it doesn't matter whether or not you use cash; you will still be required to show your drivers' license. What all this plainly indicates is that the government is now able to track your every move! Nothing is hidden any longer from its eyes.

In addition, by installing "readers" at various locations on the nation's roads and highways, the government is able to track you as you travel in REAL TIME. This is to say nothing of the government's ability to track you using satellites. Of course, you can always throw your license away; but then you will not be able to purchase food, buy gas, get car repairs, etc. - in other words, you won't be able to travel. And no use trying to use somebody else's license - only the owner of the license will be able to use it; that's the reason for the digitized fingerprint, picture, and hologram. So much for crossing a border undetected.

In addition, by installing "readers" at various locations on the nation's roads and highways, the government is now able to track you as you travel in REAL TIME.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAMS

All this is to say nothing about the transformation of local Neighborhood Watch groups into community based "snitch" programs like the ones Hitler used or Mao set up in Communist China and Stalin set up in the old Soviet union. Bill Berkowitz of the Progressive says that the new thrust of Neighborhood Watch is part of the government's plan to set up a whole network of citizen informants.

Nadine Strossen of the ACLU writes:

"... a MASSIVE effort ... to turn regular Americans into ... government MONITORS who, pressed by constant urgings for vigilance and suspicion ... are being asked to report to the authorities anything they think is 'unusual or suspicious' ... The new warnings are enormously vague and broad, yet frightening and intense. Unlike 'wanted' posters and other traditional public appeals, they are based not on crimes that have already been committed, but on the prospect or suspicion that an individual might be planning something bad ... The government's constant exhortations to micro-vigilance ... will create an atmosphere of CONFORMISM and mistrust that encourages abuse and divides Americans from one another ..."

A PHOENIX PROGRAM DIRECTED
AGAINST U.S. CITIZENS

The new Neighborhood Watch Program has been patterned after the infamous Phoenix Program the U.S. ran in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Phoenix was run essentially by a cadre of "secret police" advised by the CIA and American military intelligence officers. Informants were recruited in every district, village, and hamlet in Vietnam.

On the basis of an accusation made by a single anonymous informant, a VC suspect or sympathizer could be arrested and detained indefinitely. They were held until they confessed (often under torture); and then they were sent to Stalinist internal security camps where they were "disappeared" permanently.

What makes such a system especially dangerous is that the government is refusing to spell out exactly the criteria that it is using that will land someone on the "suspected citizen" list. This is what happened in Vietnam too. There was never any consensus about the definition of a VC sympathizer; at best, it was tacitly understood by "those in charge" of the program, and the security forces under their control, that a person was either "for us" or "against us." Moreover, it wasn't enough to be just "for us" in a passive sense; one had to be actively "against them." So the definition of a terrorist suspect is deliberately left open, paving the way for political repression.

Heinrich Mueller, chief of Hitler's Gestapo, commenting on the efficacy of this kind of system, said that there is -

"... nothing quite as efficient as an internal spy system (i.e., citizens spying on other citizens) for isolating the individual by making it impossible for anybody to trust anybody else."

THEN THERE IS THE MATTER
OF ONE'S ABILITY TO TRAVEL

One of the most effective tools in controlling a population in a Police-State is the ability of the police to impede a citizen's ability to freely move about, and to subject him constantly to questions and background checks. One is forever being asked for one's personal papers and one's I.D.

Of course, all this has been going on for sometime now in the neighborhoods of the poor - and I know what I'm speaking about here: I used to live in a very poor neighborhood in Sacramento, and I cannot begin to tell you how often I was stopped at "police roadblocks" to undergo a "warrants check" on the flimsiest of technicalities (defective tail light, mud on a license plate - anything will do including looking at the police cross-eyed), and now - even now - all this is being expanded to the middle-class. If you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't be afraid

Then there is the matter of air travel: Increasingly, airport passengers are being detained for hours, even days, and missing flights because they fit a "terrorist profile" based on appearance, airport behavior, travel itinerary or other criteria. They are being strip searched, including body cavity searches, X-rayed, forced to take laxatives, their bowel movements monitored. Now, if you say that all this is being done to safeguard our security, then I can tell you that you would have made a nice little Nazi in the Third Reich of some seventy years ago because that is precisely the reasons they gave for implementing the exact same steps. "Public Safety," "National Security," and the phrase, "If you have nothing to hide, then you shouldn't be afraid" come straight out of the 1934 Hitler Youth Handbook.

TRAVEL BECOMES A PRIVILEGE RATHER THAN A RIGHT - A PRIVILEGE THAT THE GOVERNMENT DOLLS OUT TO ITS SYCOPHANTS AND TOADIES, AND DENIES TO THOSE WHO AREN'T "TOEING THE PARTY-LINE."

Up until now the government has claimed that only suspected terrorists were being tracked. Now, however, the TSA (The Transportation Security Administration) has expanded the list of those being tracked greatly, but, again, it is not saying what criteria it is using. Indeed, the list of criteria appears to have been vastly expanded in recent years to include almost anyone deemed inimical to the American New World Order System.

The gradual expansion of the "no-fly-list" has had a very chilling effect on passengers since anyone pulled from a passenger line at a terminal will be deemed by others to be a common criminal, a terrorist, or a traitor to the country. Think how embarrassed people will be - YOU for instance! What will your friends be thinking?

Hand in hand with this program another program for "trusted travelers" has been instituted under which "good toadies" and "trusted sycophants" of the state can submit their personal data - possibly to include a fingerprint and retina scan - in advance to the TSA, which will issue them an identity card that automatically earns them "green status" when they check in. Chapman says,

"This creation of a preferred class of travelers will automatically throw greater suspicion on those who have not obtained the special ID (i.e., the "green pass"), adding to the pressure for people to participate. One would expect that soon the identity card would be used in other business sectors - perhaps to check into a hotel - as well."

Wow! - a "Green Card" - kind of like having a gold or platinum Visa card: something that says, "I'm better than the rest of you. I don't have to stand in line like the peons." One can only imagine the brown-nosing that will go on to get one of these cards! - and the concomitant embarrassment that will accrue to those who don't qualify for such a card!

As we indicated previously, no definite information is being released on the specific criteria established for assigning a "red" (a "no-fly" status) or "yellow" (a "pull-from-the-line" status) rating. But this much is known: In addition to being an extensive identity check, the stage one numerical rating incorporates an assessment of whether the traveler is "rooted in the community." Does this mean that someone without a long credit or shopping history will be considered a high risk, which means anyone who uses cash rather than credit or debit cards? Now stop and think about the implications of that for those of you who think you can outsmart the government by using only cash - USE CASH ONLY AND YOU RISK BEING ASSIGNED A "YELLOW" OR "RED" RATING FOR NOT BEING "ROOTED IN THE COMMUNITY." Then go ahead and try traveling around the country and see how far you get.

Very obviously, this system has been specifically designed to "target" political opponents by placing them in the "red" or "yellow" category without having to make any accounting of that action. Someone who finds himself banned from travel has no recourse. In truly KAFKAESQUE fashion, he cannot find out how his name got on the "do-not-fly" list, nor how he would be able to get it removed. He may suspect the reason why he is on the "do-not-fly" list, but he cannot know for sure. The TSA claims it has an ombudsman to whom those who feel they have been erroneously subjected to restrictions can complain, but there is no indication as to what authority the ombudsman actually has.

Hentoff

Nat Hentoff of the Village Voice writes:

"The program that is being instituted by the government ... is not the innocuous, though annoying, collection of information done by telemarketers and other so-called solicitors that is used to deluge our postal boxes and computer accounts with targeted junk mail.

"This is a compilation of private information, from various sources, that you may not want collected and distributed without your knowledge or consent ... Once this coloring scheme (i.e., green, yellow and red) is in place, why limit it to airline passengers? To maximize homeland security, the government could extend this system to railroad depots, bus stations and beyond."

 And Hentoff is right! - the government has not stopped at turning airports into "internal security checkpoints;" it is now in the process of establishing checkpoints for private cars passing through bridges, tunnels, and even along roads that one would little suspect. Once this system is fully implemented - and if you have a "red rating" - you might as well push your car over a cliff and start "hoofing" it.

So much for those Christians who think they can wait around until the last moment to flee. How are they going to get out of the United States, or even travel from city to city? Walk? - all the way to the Canadian or Mexican borders from Memphis, Sacramento, St. Louis, Columbus, etc.? [What will Dene and Doug do then; and how will they explain their purposeful STUPIDITY to their followers?]

WHAT WILL CHRISTIANS DO?

What will Christians do under this kind of system - especially when so much "face" is involved? - and believe me when I say that both Doug and Dene are "into face."

What will Christian businessmen and women do when their business associates are passed through the security gates at an airport or through security check points for car, bus and rail traffic because their associates possess "green passes" and they don't, and are pulled over to the side as a result?  The pressure on Christians at this point to cave into the system, compromise their faith, and obtain a "green pass" will be overwhelming.

And, moreover, the pressure to break off any relationship with a brother or sister in the Lord who has the courage to stand up against the system will be enormous; after all, to continue in such a relationship with a person like that could not help but jeopardize one's "green status." And then what?

Again, most Christians think that they will have the courage to stand up to such a system. But I doubt it! Travel is just too important in our daily lives for most people to be deprived of it. And even if you do possess the courage to endure the affliction of a "yellow" or "red" status insofar as your ability to move about in the United States - a status that will essentially confine you to your house - how will you then be able to involve yourself in the things of the Lord by sitting alone in a chair at home, that is if you have not already been rounded up and shipped off to a Super-Max prison.

And be clear here: If there is anything in your background that would suggest that you are "unreliable," be sure that you will be discovered by the "data-mining" techniques the government has now arrayed against its citizens, and you will surely be arrested and shipped off to prison. And there will be no escape from these places unless you are prepared to unswervingly swear allegiance to the new National Security State, and by doing so, compromising yourself forever insofar as Christ is concerned.

THIS IS NOT TO SAY ...

This is not to say, however, that there will be no testimony in the United States; there will be; the Scriptures plainly indicate this:

"And I will give power to my TWO WITNESSES and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days [3-1/2 years], clothed in sackcloth.

"These are the TWO OLIVE TREES and the TWO LAMPSTANDS standing before the God of the earth.

"And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.

"These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire'.

"Now when they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.

 "And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

"Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three and a half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.

"And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

"Now after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

"And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, 'Come up here'. And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them." (Revelation 11:3-12) [We URGE you to see Part 4 of Chapter VIII, "The Two Witnesses."]

Golgotha, a place close to Jerusalem, but definitely OUTSIDE the city proper!

And these two witnesses are destined to BEAR WITNESS against the American New World Order System IN THE STREETS OF BABYLON (i.e., the United States) for 3 and one-half years:

"And their dead bodies [the dead bodies of the Two Witnesses] will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually [which in this sense is better translated as "allegorically" (NEB)] is called SODOM and EGYPT, WHERE ALSO OUR LORD WAS CRUCIFIED.

"Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies ..." (Revelation 11:8-9a)

So, I must tell you, "YES," there will be a TESTIMONY given AGAINST Babylon in the streets of that great city (i.e., the United States) given to those who remain in Babylon - and while we do not have the time to go into this matter now, suffice it to be said, it will be an EXTREMELY super-natural one, and one that will utterly conform itself to the TESTIMONY of the TWO WITNESSES that we described in Chapter VIII of the New Antipas Papers.

But those prisses and wimps like Dene McGriff, Doug Krieger, Gloria Cooper and Bob Mertes who remain in Babylon after failing to obey God's command to COME OUT will have little or nothing to do with this testimony.
