AN UNYIELDING
THEOLOGY OF HATE *

INTRODUCTION

James Frederick Douglas writes that the mindset of those who today control the American "National Security State" is based on a Manichean theology that cannot exist without an object to HATE; it insists on systematically demonizing its enemies who are thought to constitute an ABSOLUTE evil which must be utterly and completely destroyed.

For more than sixty years, these Manicheans, whom Douglass calls collectively "THE UNSPEAKABLE," have been working to infuse the American population with their theology - a theology that cloaks itself in the garb of Christianity and labels those who oppose it as "ENEMIES OF CHRIST" and the "AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE." By now this theology of hate has all but subsumed the American church and the Republican Party. It is precisely this theology of "UNYIELDING HATE," the one described by Douglass in JFK and the Unspeakable, that gave license to the Manicheans who govern the American super-state to murder John Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy (people the Manicheans believed were opposed to their political, economic and spiritual ambitions) - assassinations that Douglass describes as "interlocking murders."

LOCATING THE NEXUS OF THE UNSPEAKABLE

Eisenhower's "Farewell Address to the Nation."

Douglass locates the "UNSPEAKABLE" in the military-industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned about in his "Farewell Address to the Nation" on January 17, 1961; Eisenhower told the nation:

"Until the latest of our world conflicts (i.e., World War II), the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.

"This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, EVEN SPIRITUAL -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government."

NOTE: Clearly Eisenhower saw that there was a spiritual dimension to what he called "the military-industrial complex" - a dimension that was guided by what Douglass has called an "UNYIELDING THEOLOGY OF HATE."

Eisenhower continued:

"We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

"We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together."

Obviously, Eisenhower was speaking from the point of view of having first-hand knowledge of this "influence of power" as president - an "influence" that he felt had become so vast that it threatened to take over the government and subvert its democratic institutions.

THE INFLUENCE OF POWER EISENHOWER WARNED AGAINST

THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY AS THE
"GO-FER" FOR THE MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

By the time the first of the CIA's "interlocking assassinations" took place, the CIA - as the "enforcer" for the "UNSPEAKABLE" - had, according to one well-placed American official, insinuated itself into every branch of government and even into the broader society (e.g., it's media networks, its churches, its governmental aid programs, the nation's local police forces, etc.); the official remarked:

"They're 'spooks' [CIA agents] everywhere; they represent a tremendous power and are totally unaccountable to anyone."

The CIA created a network of spies throughout the entire fabric of the government whose "appointed members would act quickly, with total obedience, when called on by the CIA to assist its covert operations."

Douglass elaborates on the secret web the CIA had created; speaking of the man largely responsible for creating this conspiratorial network of CIA agents throughout the government - i.e., Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty - Douglass writes:

"Allan Dulles (the first Director of the CIA) got Prouty to create a network of subordinate focal point offices in the armed services, then throughout the entire US government. Each office that Prouty set up was put under a 'cleared' CIA employee. That person took orders directly from the CIA but functioned under the cover of his particular branch of government. Such 'breeding', Prouty said decades later in an interview, resulted in a web of covert CIA representatives 'in the State Department, in the FAA, in the Customs Service, in the Treasury, in the FBI and all around through the government and up into the White House ... When we began to assign people there [i.e., to the White House] they thought they were from other departments. But they actually were people that we put there from the CIA."

Douglass goes on to say that by -

"... the early 1960s, when Kennedy became president, the CIA had placed a secret team of its own employees throughout the entire US government. It was accountable to no one except the CIA ... No one except a tight inner circle of the CIA even knew of the existence of this top-secret intelligence network, much less the identity of its deep-cover bureaucrats ... Its appointed members would act quickly, with total obedience, when called on by the CIA to assist its covert operations."

The CIA becomes an "American Gestapo."

THE MURDERS OF JFK, MALCOLM X, MLK AND RFK
GIVE UNMISTAKABLE EVIDENCE AS TO THE EXISTENCE
OF THE CIA AS A "STATE WITHIN A STATE"

Speaking concerning the murders of JFK, Malcolm X, MLK and RFK, Douglass remarks that -

"... while we have no evidence as to who exactly in the military-industrial complex may have given the order to assassinate these men (i.e., John Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy), the fact that these assassinations were carried out by the Central Intelligence Agency is obvious. The CIA's fingerprints are all over these crimes and the events leading up to these murders." Douglass continues:

"In the course of exploring the dark truth of JFK's death [as well as the deaths of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy], the deepening historical facts prove beyond any doubt that the CIA coordinated and carried out the president's murder [as well as the murder of the others]. THESE MURDERS ARE ALL UNMISTAKABLE SIGNS OF THE 'UNSPEAKABLE' AND POINT UNWAVERINGLY TO ITS EXISTENCE AND REALITY."

THE VOID IN OUR HUMANITY THAT
ALLOWS THE "UNSPEAKABLE" TO EXIST

However, Douglass goes on to warn:

"Understanding that the CIA coordinated these assassinations does not mean that we can limit the responsibility to the CIA. To tell the truth at the heart of darkness in this story, one must see and accept a responsibility that goes deeper and far beyond the Central Intelligence Agency."

"The 'Unspeakable' is a systemic evil that defies speech ... At bottom it is a VOID: it is the same kind of VOID that produced Adolf Eichmann ...

"It's the VOID in our government that created the covert-action doctrine of 'plausible deniability', sanctioned by the June 18, 1948, National Security Council directive NSC 10/2 which allowed the CIA to interpret 'plausible deniability' as a green light to assassinate national leaders, overthrow governments, and lie to cover up any trace of accountability - all for the sake of promoting U.S. interests and maintaining our ... dominance ..."

NOTE: "Plausible deniability" refers to the denial of blame in loose and informal chains of command where upper rungs quarantine the blame to the lower rungs, and the lower rungs are often inaccessible, meaning confirming responsibility for the action is nearly impossible. In the case that illegal or otherwise disreputable and unpopular activities become public, high-ranking officials may deny any awareness of such acts or any connection to the agents used to carry out such acts.

AND MORE THAN ALL THAT, IT IS THE VOID IN OURSELVES THAT ALLOWS US AS CITIZENS TO IGNORE THE REALITY OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE "UNSPEAKABLE," AND TO DENY WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN THE MURDERS OF JFK, MALCOLM X, MLK AND RFK - a denial of the facts that makes "plausible deniability" function so well insofar as the government is concerned.

It is a void that contradicts our humanity.

Douglass sums up this horrible truth:

"It is a VOID that contradicts everything that is spoken even before the words are said; the VOID that gets into the language of public and official declarations at the very moment when they are pronounced, and makes them ring dead with the hollowness of the abyss.

"The Warren Report is a monument to the Unspeakable. Yet it provoked no revolution. That VOID of citizen response remains at the heart of our national security state. The Unspeakable that rules us now took power on November 22, 1963 (the day JFK was assassinated in Dallas), and was confirmed by the Warren Report. By denying the VOID at the heart of our system, we have allowed it to undermine everything. The Unspeakable rules by the power of our denial."

JESUS DESCRIBES WHAT HAPPENS ...

He findeth it empty and swept clean.

Jesus Himself describes what happens when such a void exists in our souls:

"When an unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he [i.e., the unclean spirit] walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

"Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, HE FINDETH IT EMPTY, SWEPT, AND GARNISHED.

"Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: AND THE LAST STATE OF THAT MAN IS WORSE THAN THE FIRST ..." (Matthew 12:43-44)

So it is with all those who allow such a VOID to exist in their souls; HATE MOVES INTO FILL THE VOID.

THE NEW TESTAMENT REPUDIATES
THIS KIND OF THEOLOGY

That the New Testament repudiates the theology of hate that envelopes the leaders of today's National Security State and those who support it is made abundantly clear by Christ's commandment that we as Christians should -

"LOVE OUR ENEMIES, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them which despitefully use us, and persecute us ..." (Matthew 5:44)

- and unless we do, we have no right to call ourselves the -

"Children of our Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:45)

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? ...

Given the injunctions of Matthew 5:44 and 5:45, how is it possible, then, for someone like Randall Terry - the darling of Christian anti-abortionists - to represent himself as an emissary of Christ when he makes statements such as the following? -

"I want you to just let a wave of INTOLERANCE wash over you. I want you to let a wave of HATRED wash over you. Yes, HATE IS GOOD ... Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a biblical duty, we are called by God to conquer this country."

Or how is it possible for Pastor John Hagee of the giant Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX, Jim Garlow of the huge Skyline Church in San Diego, CA, and countless other so-called "mainline evangelical" pastors like them to associate with someone like Lou Engle who, speaking of gays and lesbians, says:

"WE GOTTA KILL THOSE GUYS" ?

The ovens at Auschwitz - Hitler's "Final Solution" for the "Jewish Problem" and Engle's 'Final Solution" for Gays and Lesbians.

How do these words square with Christ's injunction to -

"LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you ..." (Matthew 5:44) ?

Very obviously, there is no way that one can reasonably square such invective with the New Testament; clearly, this is the Manichean mindset that dominates the minds of those who constitute the members of the "UNSPEAKABLE;" those who cannot exist without someone to HATE; those who insist on systematically demonizing their enemies just as Hitler and the Nazis demonized the Jews - people that Hitler, the Nazis and eventually all of the German people thought constituted an ABSOLUTE evil that had to be utterly and completely destroyed. The obvious existence of this theology of hate among so many so-called "born-again" American Christians gives unmistakable evidence as to how deeply the mindset of the "UNSPEAKABLE" has seeped into the thinking of the church today.

Lou Engle who - together with John Gimenez of the Rock Church in Virgina Beach, VA - organized a massive "Rally for Christ" on the Mall in Washington, D.C. in 1980. 800,000 Christians attended the rally.

It is absolutely amazing that any sane person - especially a Christian - could have anything to do with someone who advocates the kind of violence that Engle advocates. Nonetheless, US GOP Senators Sam Brownback and Jim DeMint, as well as Republican Congressional Representatives Michelle Bachmann and Randy Forbes count Engle as a friend and openly solicit his prayers for their endeavors to bring the country "back to Christ and the church."

And not only Brownback, DeMint, Bachmann and Forbes, but Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich both of whom have attended "revivals" at the huge Rock Church in Virginia Beach presided over by Engle.

The Rock Church in Virginia Beach, VA where Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Sam Brownback, Jim DeMint, Michelle Bachmann and Randy Forbes have all been featured speakers along with Lou Engle.

MOST CHRISTIANS DENY THAT THEY INTEND TO KILL
HOMOSEXUALS SHOULD THEY GAIN POWER, BUT ...

Most Christians today "poo-poo" the idea that Christians - should they gain power in the United States as the result of the Culture War that is now raging in the country - would ever countenance the killing of homosexuals; but that's what most Germans said about the Jews before Hitler came to power in 1933.

Words are the necessary precursors to action; and if that is so, Christians in the United States are very close to being "morphed" into MONSTERS, just as the German people were in 1933.

THERE WAS A VOID IN THE
HEART OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE

A worm in the heart of the American church

There was a VOID in the heart of the German people - the kind of VOID that allowed the "UNSPEAKABLE" to seize control of the German state and eventually the German people; a "THEOLOGY OF UNYIELDING HATE" that, as James Douglass says, cannot exist without an object to DETEST; one that insists on systematically demonizing its enemies who are thought to constitute an ABSOLUTE evil which must be utterly and completely destroyed.

That same theology is now at work in the United States: indeed, for more than sixty years, it has been "worming" its way into the heart of the American people, and most particularly into the souls of countless numbers of Christians.

It's a theology that stands in utter juxtaposition to Christ's command to -

"LOVE OUR ENEMIES, bless them that curse us, do good to them that hate us, and pray for them which despitefully use us, and persecute us ..." (Matthew 5:44)

Nevertheless, most "mainline evangelicals" seem inured to what's occurring; blind to how juxtaposed Christ's command to His followers to love their enemies is to the vitriol of hate coming from the mouths of so many evangelical leaders today.

Following in King's footsteps

WE ARE BEING CALLED ...

WE ARE BEING CALLED AS AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST'S LOVE; AS SUCH, WE HAVE BEEN COMMANDED TO OPPOSE THE "THEOLOGY OF HATE" THAT HAS TAKEN HOLD OF TODAY'S CHURCH AND HAS DONE SO MUCH TO SUBORNE CHRIST'S MESSAGE OF LOVE.

Now, be clear here, there is no obligation per se on a Christian's part to protest against the American New World Order System itself. BUT THERE IS AN OBLIGATION ON CHRISTIANS EVERYWHERE TO PROTEST THE EFFORT BY THE LEADERS OF THE CHURCH TO LINK THE PRECIOUS NAME OF OUR SAVIOUR TO THIS EMPIRE OF GREED AND HATE - even if that means going to jail. It is not without reason that Jesus warned:

"... they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues [i.e., meeting halls of the apostate church] ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them." (Mark 13:9)

NOTE: One should take careful note of the fact here that those who had legitimately received an invitation were eventually rejected; and those who it appeared had not qualified initially for an invitation came; the application of these verses to what is happening today in the United States and elsewhere around the world should be obvious: Those who are members of today's apostate American church will be rejected, and the so-called "leftist street-rabble" in Chicago and elsewhere around the country and throughout the world are being called.

The Lord is calling you NOW - DON'T FAIL TO ANSWER THAT CALL. Jesus said,

"Whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:27)
