OUR FAILURE IN CANADA

What follows is an explanation concerning our FAILURE in Canada; we are using this article as a kind of "preformative" to the article that appears just below on the website (left-hand column) entitled "Looking Forward by Looking Backward." In that article, we URGE everyone who is NOT yet prepared to leave the United States to begin meeting along the lines outlined in that article. Do NOT – I repeat, do NOT – fall back into the temptation of allying yourself with a church that remains united to the American New World Order System – even as a way of "reaching" other Christians with the message of Antipas. The only person you are fooling is yourself; if you do so, you are opening yourself up to be swept away by the coming APOSTASY, the force of which is only now beginning to make itself felt. The way to reach people with the message of Antipas is to do what we have suggested in our article, "Using the DVD as a Tool in Announcing that the Kingdom of God Is at Hand." INTRODUCTION

There continues to be a lot of very negative discussion on the internet with regard to what happened to us in Canada; specifically, our FAILURE there, and to the fact that we were forced back to the U.S. with "our tails between our legs." And what can we say to all this? - the fact is, it's true: We were forced into a very ignoble retreat. We did FAIL in Canada, and we FAILED miserably.

Typical of those who have been chiding us in this matter is a dear brother who recently wrote us; the letter reads in part:

Alienation: Jesus said, "Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Dear brothers and sisters [at Antipas],

It's been a long time since you've heard from me.

Let me just give small background. I became part of your "audience" in 1999, and since then I've read just about everything you've published. I view your website as the only source of truth in my life. It comforts me to know you are there to help me make sense of things. Actually, many of the articles you have written, seem to be about matters that I already have in my head, but of course I don't have your ability to perform research or express the matters in exquisite manner as you do.

I've never given a dime to your ministry, and for that I feel guilty, but every month I struggle to make ends meet, and I talk to people about the things I read on your website. Years ago, I told people where I found my information, but my family and friends were all very critical of your work. They could not see it for what it is, and for that …

Reading your website has alienated me, away from everyone. It drives a wedge between me and everyone who knows me. For that reason, it was not hard for me to leave my family, friends, job and everything behind, including my church and country.

So, that's who I am, and I doubt there is very many in your "audience" like me. I don't know if I have reaped benefit or a curse, but I reap. I don't know if this tree bears good or bad fruit, but it seems to be what I need.

The phrase, "practice what you preach" comes to mind, and in that it seems you are falling short, and maybe it's due to people like me. Particularly I'm referring to your return to America. What I can offer you is my assistance in your relocation to the Palawan wilderness. I receive incredible land offers, because people think I'm rich, but I can hardly afford to feed my family. I did my research before coming here, and I find I've come to the right place. I met some small resistance in starting up a business, but the climate seems to be improving. It's privative, but livable. Interesting, a group or family of Israelis recently bought a nearby large beach property, but so far they are not living here, or planning any development that is publicly disclosed.

NOTE: This dear brother chose to go to the Palawan Wilderness in the Philippines. He chose to seek his own "way out" – and evidently did so with very little money. Of course, the Palawan Wilderness may not be suitable for everyone – especially those who have medical issues. If you wish to go to a more "civilized" location, you will probably have to "plan for it" – as we are doing right now because both my wife and I now have very serious medical problems.

The "good news" is you probably still have time to plan for an "structured emigration" out of the U.S. - but eventually, time will run out as it did for the Jews in Germany in the 1930s. MUCH OF OUR FAILURE IN CANADA …

As we have previously indicated, much of our FAILURE in Canada can be traced to our inability to attract enough strong, mature Christians to join us in our effort there. Without the help of such Christians, we simply were unable to take care of the great number of "newborn Christians" who did come, not only from the United States, but from Canada. Put plainly, the Christians that should have come (and who had actually promised to come), didn't; and the ones who didn't really have the experience to withstand such a tough ordeal, did come - which led ultimately to a very chaotic situation for which I simply had not planned. In short, I totally underestimated the internal problems that we would face as a result of our egress out of the U.S.

NOTE: This brings me to the subject of one of the most valuable lessons I learned as a result of our experience in Canada: Initially, Lucy and I were planning to go to Canada by ourselves; we had made an earlier trip up to Vancouver Island and found a place that we could afford without any other person’s assistance. However, after some discussion with a number of close associates, we decided to buy a large ranch in British Columbia that could accommodate many more people. In order to do so, however, we had to coordinate with others to make the move possible – ALL OF WHOM LATER DECIDED THEY COULDN’T MAKE THE MOVE TO CANADA FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. Their failure to come guaranteed the failure of the enterprise.

The lesson I learned in all of this is: Try to find a place you can go to that you can afford on your own; if that’s not possible, make very sure of the commitment of those who say they want to go with you. If you make your enterprise dependent on their willingness to proceed, you may be setting yourself up for failure.

However, there will come a time if you wait too long that you will have to throw all caution to the wind – forget planning – and just go. Jesus said:

"Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

"But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains:

"And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

"And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

"But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

"And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter." For now, we URGE you to pay attention to the verses in black in the Scriptures above, specifically, verses 16 and 17.]

NEVERTHELESS …

Christo-Fascism in the United States

Nevertheless, our FAILURE in Canada does not mean that we have given up our effort to get out - and that we have given up our effort to encourage YOU, our brethren in Christ, to get out as well - all in answer to God's holy DICTATE in Revelation 18:4 to "COME OUT OF HER" (i.e., Babylon) - and to do so before you are subsumed in the coming "CHRISTO-FASCIST" government that the Bible predicts will shortly appear in the United States; one that Barack Obama and all the other liberal elites will - in the end - find impossible to stop; a state that cannot help but bring shame and infamy to the name of our precious savior. In our view, it is intolerable that REAL Christians can remain suckling at the breasts of the American New World Order System in light of the HORROR it is visiting on the peoples and nations of the earth. [Please see our documentary, "Greed Is Good."]

It is for this reason that we have begun planning for a new effort to get out - one that will be far better organized than was our effort in Canada, and one that we estimate may take some several years to "accomplish."

FOOLS FOR CHRIST

There are, of course, many Christians who think that we are FOOLS in persisting in what they consider an irrational course of action. There are, however, a great many people who don’t think so – mostly "lefties" WHO FEEL THAT OBAMA WILL, IN THE END, FAIL IN HIS EFFORT TO MITIGATE THE COUNTRY’S PREDATORY PRACTICES IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD. They know perfectly well what the elites are capable of. As Upton Sinclair said: the fascism that the American elites espouse is "CAPITALISM PLUS MURDER." If that’s the case, Obama’s crown (so to speak) rests very uneasily on his head. [Please see our article. What Is Fascism?" NOTE: While the Prophetic Scriptures indicate that the struggle to stop "CHRISTO-FASCISM" is over insofar as the United States is concerned, and that - as a result - it is time to get out, the struggle is NOT over in the world outside America's borders. We flee there not to hide, but to continue our struggle to combat the spread of America's "CHRISTO-FASCISM" in the outside world by preaching the "Gospel of the Kingdom." More than five decades ago, Bob Dylan wrote in his song Subterranean Homesick Blues:

... Look out kid It's something you did God knows when But you're doin' it again ... ... The phone's tapped anyway Maggie (or, in my case, Lucy, my RADICAL wife of 47-years - S.R. Shearer) says that many say They must bust out in early May Orders from the DA ... (In other words, get out before the authorities "disappear" you.) ... Look out kid Don't matter what you did Walk on your tip toes Don't try 'No Doz' (i.e., caffeine pills) Keep a clean nose (i.e., stay out of trouble) Watch the plain clothes (i.e., watch out for the secret police) YOU DON'T NEED A WEATHER MAN TO KNOW WHICH WAY THE WIND BLOWS.

THE ELITES WILL STOP AT NOTHING

Yes! - unbelievers understand! Christians don't, but unbelievers do. Dylan understood back in the 1960s. He and his generation knew what the assassinations of John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King augured for the future: that the elites were prepared to do ANYTHING to preserve their wealth - that they were even willing to resort to REGICIDE (the killing of a king, or in this case, the killing of a president) to guard their privileges and power. And, again, it's unbelievers today - for instance, people like Ted Rall - who know which way the wind is blowing and who are cognizant of the elite's wicked inclination toward the use of murder and terror aimed at preserving themselves in power. It's an inclination that was just beginning to unveil itself back in the 1960s, but one that is by now so fully rooted in the institutions of the state that the elites no longer have to resort to the use of "extra-legal" means and MK-Ultra assassins to do their dirty work; instead - thanks to the USA Patriot Act and similar recent legislation (which, sadly, the Obama Administration has done very little to mitigate) - they can now rely on the police, the FBI, the DEA, etc. to do their killing and "disappearing" for them. Rall and his friends understand what this means: that it portends ill (i.e., murder, torture and death) for ALL those who today choose to oppose the American New World Order System, and so much so that, according to Rall -

"People who have spoken out against … [the system] are (actually) talking exit strategy (now) ... fleeing the U.S. ..." [Please see "Judi Bari, Darryl Cherney and Earth First" and "The Death of Gary Webb" and "Be Concerned! Be Very Concerned! Detention Camps Are Coming to a Neighborhood Near You!"]

HYPOCRITES

"You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows!" That's what Dylan said back in the 1960s; but Jesus said it much earlier than that, though not that much differently, when He said -

"... When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, it will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye HYPOCRITES, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?" (Matt. 16:2-3)

HYPOCRITES! - that's what Jesus called those who are unable to discern which way the wind is blowing and the "signs of the times." And, plainly, when He said so, He was speaking to the "Religious Establishment" of His day, people who claimed to know what God wanted, but about whom Jesus said, "I NEVER KNEW YOU" (Matt. 7:23). These are those leaders about whom God told the prophet Ezekiel:

"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds (i.e., the pastors and leaders of today's church) ... and say ... Woe be to the shepherds ... As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field ... Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand ..." (Ezek. 34:2, 7-10)

LIGHT YOURSELF A CANDLE

These so-called "shepherds of God," these hypocrites, these charlatans and fakes - they are "expert" at only one thing: HIDING THE TRUTH from God's people. As Dylan put it,

Look out kid They keep it ALL hid
Better jump down a manhole
And LIGHT YOURSELF A CANDLE!

Concerning such leaders and the half-witted, asinine proclivity of Christians to listen to them, Jesus said:

"... the children of this world are ... wiser than the children of light." (Luke 16:8)

In other words, unbelievers are more able to tell "which way the wind is blowing" than Christians. Sadly, however, Christians are unable to tell NOT because they CAN'T know the truth, but because they DON'T WANT to know the truth, fulfilling the words of Christ when He said,

"... in them [i.e., in nincompoops like Hymenaeus and Alexander who pretend to espouse a message similar to the one that Antipas espouses, but who dilute and "cut the message short" in order to appease their Christian brethren] is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

"For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." (Matt. 13:14-15)
