WHEN FASCISM
COMES TO AMERICA

INTRODUCTION

In April of 2002 a worried Harley Sorenson - reviewing the growing suppression of individual rights in the United States in the wake of the 9-11 attacks, and the state-sponsored brutality it had unleashed against certain targeted groups in the U.S. and abroad - wrote:

"One of life's mysteries, for me, is how masses of people can do the incredibly cruel things they do. Individual brutality makes a certain amount of sense in that it's limited to one person. But mass brutality?

"I think this subject first came to mind after I read Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf and William L. Shirer's The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, A History of Nazi Germany.

"There was nothing in either book that told me how such a highly civilized and culturally advanced nation as Germany could sink to the level of the Nazis.

"'How could that happen'? I wondered. 'What is there about the Germans that allowed them to become the MONSTERS they became? How are they different than the rest of us'?

"So I spent a month pondering the question.

"The answer I came up with satisfied me then, and it satisfies me still: There is nothing different about the World War II Germans. WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE. It could happen to us. We are no better than them.

"As Pogo so famously said (about pollution) on Earth Day in 1971:

"'We have met the enemy and he is us'."

BEING SUCKED INTO BATTLE
ALL OVER THE WORLD ...

Sorenson continued:

"I'm reminded of all this now [i.e., in April, 2002] because of the way we Americans ... [are being sucked] into battle all over the world [in the interest of corporate America]. We're fighting in Afghanistan for sure, probably in Pakistan, in the Philippines, in Colombia, and soon in Iraq if the signals we're hearing mean anything. I'm sure I've missed other combat zones, and there is good reason to believe we've conducted clandestine operations in Venezuela."

All this more than a year before Bush's invasion of Iraq. Sorenson went on:

"The formula ... [to create a fascist state], as Jean-Marie Le Pen showed recently in France, is a two-step process. First, you convince the masses they are in grave danger (Le Pen used immigrants as his boogie man), then you promise to save them.

"That's exactly what Hitler did, and it's exactly what ... [the elites are doing in the United States].

"Generally speaking, people who feel fear seem willing to throw away all their morals and principles. If you don't believe that, go to the airport and watch thousands of otherwise proud people line up like sheep to be publicly humiliated in the name of safety ...

"Driven by fear, masses of people can do horrible things."

THE CREATION OF A DOMESTIC "ENEMY ABSOLUTE"

"DRIVEN BY FEAR, MASSES OF PEOPLE CAN DO HORRIBLE THINGS!" That's what Sorenson said - and that kind of FEAR is now (five years later) being whipped up into a frenzy; a fear that - as Sorenson predicted - has driven the United States to engage enemies both imaginary and real in foreign battlefields all over the world.

But more is needed than the mere creation of enemies abroad; IT'S THE CREATION OF A DOMESTIC "ENEMY ABSOLUTE" THAT IS ESSENTIAL IN MAKING THAT FEAR "REAL" AND "FACTUAL" IN THE MINDS OF MOST PEOPLE, the kind of fear that Sorenson says can make people do HORRIBLE things. After all, most Americans have no real contact with the "enemies" the U.S. is battling in Iraq, Afghanistan, Central Asia, Africa, Latin America, etc. These are enemies that "come alive" only on one's TV screens and in the movies. They're not the kind of enemies that can REALLY threaten a person where he lives; the kind that one can really do "horrible things to."

For that, one needs to create an enemy domestically; one that people can actually see and feel; the kind of enemy that Hitler created for the German people; the kind of enemy that "LIVES AMONG US;" the kind of enemy that can justify the creation of a POLICE STATE.

Moreover, that "enemy" must extend beyond the kind of wild speculation that swirls and surrounds such right-wing myths as the Illuminati, the CFR, "Skull and Bones," etc. - after all, like our "enemies" that exist on foreign battlefields, these are phantoms that cannot really be engaged on a PHYSICAL level. FOR THAT, ONE NEEDS A VICTIM THAT "AVERAGE PEOPLE" CAN ACTUALLY STICK A KNIFE INTO.

In Germany, that PHYSICAL victim became the Jew.

THE CREATION OF AN "ENEMY ABSOLUTE" HAS
A DISINTEGRATING EFFECT ON COMMUNITY LIFE

But the creation of such an "ENEMY ABSOLUTE" has a disintegrating effect on those who create it - and it was for that reason that in the spring of 1946, just one year after the end of the war in Europe, famed psycho-analyst Dr. Ernst Simmel of the University of California became interested in what would happen to America if Americans became involved in such a process, a process similar to the one that took hold of the German people when they targeted the Jews as an "ENEMY ABSOLUTE." Simmel fretted out loud:

"America has emerged from the war as the most powerful nation in the world ... What would happen to the United States and to civilization, should ... [such an ENEMY ABSOLUTE] be created in the United States. [The kind of thinking that produces such an enemy] ... is irrational, and since it dethrones reason as the regulating power in human interrelationships, IT IS BOUND TO HAVE A VERY DISINTEGRATING EFFECT ON COMMUNAL LIFE."

A "disintegrating effect on community life?" - that's putting it mildly. But it brings us back to what worries Sorenson now: What he sees as THE ON-GOING TRANSFORMATION OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE INTO A GAGGLE OF MONSTERS.

WE ARE NOW IN THE FIRST PHASE
OF THAT TRANSFORMATION PROCESS

Simmel describes the first phase of that process:

[The creation of an ENEMY ABSOLUTE] ... has always been preceded by a rabble-rousing period during which the ... [proposed victim] is accused of a variety of crimes ... This period of accusation, i.e., of defamation and calumny, is the FIRST phase of the cycle ... [that leads up to the period when the victim is eventually ravaged and destroyed]."

It is precisely this - "the period of accusation, i.e., of defamation and calumny" - that the American people have now entered upon, a transformation that will eventually turn them, as it did to the German people more than sixty years ago, into monsters.

THE STRANGERS AMONG US

And exactly who are the victims (the "ENEMIES ABSOLUTE") that are being propelled on the American people: They are "THE STRANGERS AMONG US" - those who exist on the periphery of America's "euro-centered, Christian civilization" - the civilization that Pastor John Hagee and others like him champion.

This process has been going on for some time now, and has had several distinct phases. In the first phase, the "TARGET LIST" centered upon -

1. All those who comprise the so-called "SECULAR-HUMANIST" community in the United States; specifically, liberal Jews, the "Hollywood set," the "gay and lesbian community," socialists, unionists, radical feminists, etc.

After 9-11, this "target list" was expanded to include the -

2. Muslim community, not only abroad, but in the United States as well.

It is now in the process of being extended to the -

3. "Illegals among us" - specifically, those "brown-skinned," Mexican "illegals" who have been streaming across our southern border in search of a way to survive America's brutal rape of their "home country." THE QUESTION YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF ...

Now in all of this, you should note how easy it is for people to involve themselves in this kind of process - the kind that targets a specific group or groups as an ENEMY ABSOLUTE; all it takes is one's verbal participation in the process - a procedure that cannot help but boomerang on one's own person.

Concerning this matter, Simmel writes:

"The [mere] accepting of a calumniation from someone against a targeted group and passing it on to others signifies participation in the process."

The question you need to ask yourself, dear Christian, is this: Have you been doing this? Have you been spreading calumniations (aspersions, defamations, and abuses) against any of the targeted groups listed above? You say, No!.

Oh? Really? Well, what about the gay and lesbian community? What about the radical feminists? What about these and similar groups that have been long proscribed - and not only proscribed, but utterly DEFAMED - by the church? Indeed, it's almost impossible to involve one's self in an American church today and not to some extent be involved in defaming these groups, at least on a verbal basis.

You say that these groups are involved in "unrighteous" activity? Of course, that's the charge that was made against the Jews in Germany - i.e., that they were unrighteous - and this charge was accepted as true by good German Christians everywhere.

THE FRYING PAN CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK

But one group (Christian or otherwise) calling another group - any group - "unrighteous" is analogous to "the kettle calling the frying pan black." The Bible says:

"THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO, NOT ONE:

"There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

"They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; THERE IS NONE THAT DOETH GOOD, NO, NOT ONE." (Romans 3:10-12)

And the Bible goes on to say:

"Behold, thou art called a Jew [in our case, a Christian] ... and makest thy boast of God,

"And knowest his will ...

"And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

"An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes ...

"Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

"Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? (Romans 2:17, 19-22)

NOW, THAT'S HYPOCRISY - and the Bible goes on to say that it is precisely because of this kind of hypocrisy among "God's people" that -

"... the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles [i.e., unbelievers] ..." (Romans 2:24)

IT'S NOT OUR JOB ...

It is not our job as Christians to condemn anyone. Not even Jesus did that - indeed, He did not even condemn the woman caught in adultery:

"And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

"They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, IN THE VERY ACT.

"Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

"This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

"So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, HE THAT IS WITHOUT SIN AMONG YOU, LET HIM FIRST CAST A STONE AT HER.

"And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

"And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

"When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

"She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE ..." (John 8:3-11)

The very real fact of the matter is, as the Bible says:

"God sent NOT his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:17)

ARE YOU INVOLVED IN SUCH MADNESS?

So, once more I ask you, Are you involved in such madness? - the targeting of a group, any group, as an "ENEMY ABSOLUTE?" If so, you had better take a long, hard look in the mirror; the monster you see there is probably not the group you are targeting (i.e., the gay and lesbians, the radical feminists, the Muslims, etc.), but yourself.

Again, I repeat what Dr. Simmel suggested:

"The [mere] accepting of a [verbal] calumniation from someone against a targeted group and passing it on to others signifies participation in the process."

It's precisely these kinds of people - i.e., the self-righteous, the ONLY kind of people that Jesus never tired of condemning - that Hitler used to create his Third Reich, and he only needed one-third of Germany's population to do so - a percentage of the American population that the Christian Right long ago reached, the kind of people about whom Simmel wrote:

"They [i.e., self-righteous Christians] prate about 'this great movement' ... about a general American revival they hope to bring about ... The end is 'that we might demonstrate to the world that there are patriots, God-fearing Christian men and women who are yet willing to give their lives to the cause of God, home, and native land' ... [Please see our articles, "The House on 24^th Street" and "The Apostles and Prophets Movement."]

"Lust for snooping is both encouraged and satisfied [by these self-righteous ninnies], and atrocities [that the targeted groups (i.e., the gays and lesbians, the Muslims, etc.) are said to have committed] are constantly told; the indignation at filth and cruelty is but a very thin, purposely transparent rationalization of the pleasure these stories convey to the listener.

"Occasionally a slip of the tongue occurs by which scandal mongering can easily be identified as an end in itself. Thus a certain West Coast [Christian] demagogue once promised to give in his next speech full details about a phony decree of the Soviet Government organizing the prostitution of Russian womanhood. In announcing this story, the speaker said that there was not a real he-man whose backbone would not tingle upon hearing these facts.

"The ambivalence implied in this 'tingling backbone' device is evident."

AND, AGAIN, ALL THIS IN 1946, when such thinking was extant in only a small portion of the American population. Now it embraces more than one-third of America's citizenry - a steely-willed portion of the population that refuses to disentangle itself with a president who has not only plainly demonstrated that he is a liar, but who is CLEARLY moving the nation in the direction of a DICTATORSHIP.

LUNACY IS ABOUT TO DESCEND
ON THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

Now, there is a very grave and somber reason that we have taken the time to dwell on all this - specifically, the process inherent in the creation of an ENEMY ABSOLUTE that Americans - and, most specifically, American Christians - are involved with in their defamation and vilification of -

• The so-called "secular-humanist" community.
• Muslims.
• The "Illegals" among us.

And the reason is this: The so-called "Christian" community in the United States is - as both Simmel and Sorenson suggest - in very grave danger of being "morphed" into a "fellowship" of MONSTERS as they pursue these targeted groups for proscription.

Unfortunately, this "fellowship" of MONSTERS that American Christians are being "morphed" into is prophesied to be much more malignant, and much more vicious and fiendish than anything conjured up by Hitler and his "crazies" in the Third Reich. AND ON SHOULD UNDERSTAND SOMETHING HERE: THIS TRANSOFRMATION WILL EXTEND TO ALL THOSE WORLD-WIDE WHO ARE IN ANY WAY CONNECTED TO THE AMERICAN NEW WORLD ORDER SYSTEM AND THE SO-CALLED CHURCH THAT SUPPORTS IT. So one should not think he is clear of this danger because he does not reside physically in the United States.

Clearly, however, this transformation of people into MONSTERS will begin FIRST in the United States, and then it will be extended outward from there - AND, CLEARLY, IT HAS ALREADY BEGUN IN AMERICA; specifically, in America's Christian community. What we describe below is only the end of that process.

THE FIFTH TRUMPET

And what a transformation it will be! Indeed, it's in this connection that the Bible speaks of an eruption of INSANITY among those involved in this process in the "end of days" - an eruption that will happen at the time the Fifth Trumpet sounds, an event that will occur shortly after the Abomination of Desolation that takes place mid-way through the "Tribulation Period." [Please see Chapter IX in the NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS.]

The description of this eruption of insanity is as follows:

"And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him.

"And he opened the bottomless pit; and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit.

"And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and power was given them as the scorpions of the earth have power.

"And they were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

"And they were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment ... and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man.

"AND IN THOSE DAYS MEN WILL SEEK DEATH AND WILL NOT FIND IT, AND THEY WILL LONG TO DIE AND DEATH FLEES FROM THEM.

"And the appearance of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads, as it were, crowns like gold, AND THEIR FACES WERE LIKE THE FACES OF MEN.

"AND THEY HAD HAIR LIKE THE HAIR OF WOMEN, AND THEIR TEETH WERE LIKE THE TEETH OF LIONS.

"And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, of many horses rushing to battle.

"And they have tails like scorpions, and stings; and in their tails is their power to hurt men ...

"They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon (i.e., Apollos)." (Revelation 9:1-11)

These verses are rendered more intelligible in the Concordant Literal Translation of the New Testament:

CONSIDER WELL WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE ...

Now, it's not our purpose here to go into the meaning of all this; we have done so at great length in the NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS (Please see Part V of Chapter IX in the NEW ANTIPAS PAPERS, "The Course and Character of the 'Last Days;" specifically,"The Seven Trumpets - The Second Half of the Seventieth Week").

What we observe here is the end result of those who have attached themselves to the American New World Order System and the Apostate church that supports that system. LIKE THE "GOOD" CHRISTIANS OF GERMANY SIXTY YEARS AGO, THEY HAVE BEEN TURNED INTO MONSTERS, only their condition is much, much worse. The demonic forces that have emerged out of the "SUBMERGED CHAOS" have taken total possession of them. They have been rendered completely INSANE - that is, turned into a cabal of CRAZIES.

That the monsters described here are "men" is made apparent by Revelation 9:8: "And their faces are, as it were, human faces." But these are not the faces of "normal people." Clearly, these people are deranged: Their hair is long and unkempt like the hair of a lunatic; and they have ground their teeth into sharpened points by their "wailing and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 8:12, 13:42, 13:50, 22:13, 24:51, 25:30, and Luke 13:28)

They are demoniacs - people driven no longer by their own will, but by a force far greater than they. They are no longer in possession of their own minds, and so great is their torment as a result of this fact, that they seek death, but they cannot find it. THEY HAVE BEEN TOTALLY SUBSUMED BY THE FORCES OF DARKNESS.

And exactly what are they up to? - they are described as "horses prepared for battle" - they lust now for the destruction of mankind; specifically, those they have labeled as "ENEMIES ABSOLUTE" - JUST AS HEINRICH HIMMLER AND ADOLF EICHMANN LUSTED FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE. On their heads are crowns of gold [a counterfeit of the Holy Spirit]. Their breastplates are like iron and the sound of their wings is as the sound of countless war chariots; they are invincible - at least insofar as the last half of the "Seventieth Week" is concerned.

AND HOW DID THEY COME TO THIS DISTRESSING STATE? - the road to the hell that now grips them began when they first became participants with the church in DEMONIZING those people whom the church had declared to be "outside the pale" - i.e., all those who fell outside the parameters of their euro-centric, "Christian" world-view; it began when they forgot that Jesus "DID NOT COME INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD, BUT THAT THROUGH HIM THE WORLD MIGHT BE SAVED."

GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN

Brothers and sisters, listen to me here: Do not overestimate your ability to resist being subsumed by this diabolical process. A process that has already taken hold of many "good" Christians in the United States; a process that is - even now - mutating them into MONSTERS.

It's not without reason that the Lord warns His followers to -

"COME OUT OF HER [i.e., Babylon, that is to say, the United States], my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Revelation 18:4)

Now, one would be well advised to ponder the awful meaning behind this command: No where else in human history has God ever ordered His people out of a certain country, save for the singular instances of Sodom and Gomorrah; not even in the case of Nazi Germany. But here He does so. YOU SHOULD THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT THIS.
