The American establishment – both Republican and Democratic – has had a grip on the nation for more than seventy years, a grip that has shut out ordinary Americans from the country's levers of power. They have created a bubble around themselves that echoes only their elite pecuniary and worldly aspirations in contrast to those of average Americans; indeed, this bubble is so daunting and forbidding that it prevents the elites from even hearing or understanding the problems of ordinary people.
Nothing so illustrates this fact than the charge Hillary Clinton made against Trump's populist following during her campaign for the presidency:
"You can put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables."
She went on to classify Trump's followers as:
"Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it".
And it wasn't only Clinton: there was Obama's condemnation of every-day Americans who make up Trump's following as -
"... people who get bitter; they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."
But it should be noted that the attitudes concerning Trump's populist following as expressed by Clinton and Obama are not un-similar to those of the Republican Establishment – people such as Mitt Romney, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, John Kasich, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, etc. For example, take what Republican Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana said about Trump during Trump's campaign for the Republican nomination in 2016:
"Trump is a madman who must be stopped; he is a shallow, unserious, narcissistic egomaniac."
Then there is Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina who said that Trump is a -
"... complete idiot"
And Republican commentator George Wills who called Trump a –
"... counterfeit Republican."
Finally, there is the attitude that Mitt Romney articulated about ordinary Americans - saying that 47 percent of Americans are "ner-do-wells" who would never vote for a Republican candidate for the presidency because they are government-dependent "victims" (so-called) who believe they are "entitled" to health care, food and housing.
It is precisely this bubble that envelopes the American political and economic elites that Trump has set out to extinguish in the name of "ordinary Americans" - a fact that has established him as "THE CHAMPION OF THE LITTLE PEOPLE."
Trump solidified this image when he attacked Ford Motor Co. at a campaign rally in Dubuque, Iowa for building a $2.5 billion manufacturing plant in Mexico, and in the process displacing thousands and thousands of manufacturing jobs in the United States - all this under the rubric of "free trade." He told his cheering audience that as president, he would confront the head of Ford and reject the move; specifically, he said:
"I would say to the head of Ford, 'Sorry, I'm not gonna approve. And if you go ahead with your move you're gonna pay a tax for every car and every truck and every part that comes across that southern border; you're gonna pay a 35% tax, OK'?"
Naturally enough, the elites went ballistic over Trump's threat to Ford. America's elite establishment is well aware of what Trump is up to in his effort to present himself to average Americans as their CHAMPION at the expense of their (ie., the elites) well-being.
One might ask, how far along is Trump in gutting his enemies? Very far along! Indeed, he is more than half way down the road. The fact is, Trump eviscerated his enemies in the Republican Party elite du ring his campaign for the nomination in 2016.
What is left of it in the halls of Congress has quickly come "in-step" with Trump – leaders such as Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and their here-to-for "moderate" followers in both the House and the Senate.
Now Trump has turned his guns on the Democratic Party, and make no mistake about it, he will destroy them as completely as he has destroyed his enemies in the Republican Party.
Over the years, the leadership of the Democratic Party has been captured by those elements in American society that first surfaced during the 1960s – elements which have slowly but relentlessly evolved into an anti-military, anti-American, anti-white, secular (meaning anti-Christian), feminist (meaning anti-male) clique which has now seized the leadership of the Democratic Party – making it a party that is now so out of touch with average Americans that it can survive only by an appeal to naked racism, radical feminism and under-handed and brutish tactics.
The authenticity of all this was demonstrated in the brutal manner in which the Clinton Machine clawed its way to power, beginning first in the 1990s and continuing up until today.
In addition, there is the deceit that the Clinton Machine has used to maintain itself as exhibited in the way it has attempted to overthrow the Trump presidency by launching a mendacious and disingenuous probe into the absurd notion that Trump conspired with Russia to win the presidency - a notion that the recently published "Nunes Memo" has effectively challenged as "bunk" – a memo which, despite the seemingly toxic reaction of Democrats, is being embraced by most every-day Americans.
If things continue as they are (and they will) it can be said that Trump is in the process of reducing the Democratic Party leadership and its ultra-liberal followers to a movement whose message only seems to revolve around stupid banalities of HATRED against Trump.
Polling earlier this year had predicted a Democratic sweep in the mid-term elections which would throw the House of Representatives back into Democratic hands where the Democrats could attempt to impeach Trump.
But the supposition that Trump will lose the midterm elections is being challenged by a recent Monmouth University poll that shows that Trump's approval rating has recently jumped 10 points while the Democratic advantage on the generic ballot has shrunk to 2 percentage points.
The Democrats are dismayed and stunned by all this. What these polls are indicating is that the Democrats have no real policies with which to challenge Trump's new populism.
While the recent volatility in the stock market has given reason for Democrats to cheer, they are doing so in a blind and ill-advised rage against Trump.
One would be well advised to remember that the mega-rich investors such as Warren Buffett, John Templeton, Philip Fisher, etc. (who are now selling off their shares) are doing what they have always done – invest in the market when it is low, and sell when the market goes high, and in the process ripping off the STUPID little guy who has invested in the Market at the urging of so-called main street financial investment companies such as Charles Schwab, Fisher Investments and Merrill Lynch. That's what the rich do – sucker small investors into the market only to beggar them in the end.
Investing in the stock market by the little guy is stupid, and it always has been; it is nothing more than a giant CASINO whose slot machines and table games have been rigged in favor of the rich.
It is exactly this CASINO ECONOMY – the one that benefits the rich at the expense of average Americans - that Trump has promised to gut and replace with a REAL ECONOMY – an economy that benefits American wage-earners and companies that actually make things, and not investment banks. All this makes Trump a target for wealthy investors who have established themselves in the bubble that surrounds the wealthy in both the Republican and Democratic parties.
The fact that Trump – despite the truth that he is a multi-billionaire – is considered by so many average people in the United States to be their spokesman brings us to the huge significance of Revelation 13:1:
And I stood upon the sand of the SEA, and saw a beast rise up out of the SEA
The magnitude of this passage of Scripture presents itself when one understands that the word "SEA" as used in Revelation 13:1 is to be understood as "the mass of people."
For example, Ellicott's Commentaries on the Holy Scripture reads:
"The 'sea' represents the great, restless mass of human kind; or, as it is expressed in Revelation 17:15, 'peoples and multitudes'."
Lange's Commentary says essentially the same thing: that antiChrist will arise out of the –
"Sea of humanity."
In other words, the antiChrist will arise as the VOX POPULI or "Voice of the People." He will speak for "THE PEOPLE."
AntiChrist as the spokesman for the "mass of people?" – and isn't this a fair description of those who are Trump's followers? – a people who are (as Ellicott suggests) desperately looking for a strong leader who will bring hope and security in a time of fear and apprehension; a leader who is strong, charismatic and authoritative who can pull the country back from the very brink of disaster. [Please see Chapter XI of the New Antipas Papers, "AntiChrist: King of Babylon." ]
Sadly, these people will get their wish for a "STRONG LEADER" in the person of Donald Trump – just as the German people (and particularly German Christians) got their wish eighty years ago with Hitler when he seized power - promising to "clean things up" in the interest of the "Prince of Peace." [We urge you to see our article on the real reason Hitler was able to achieve power in German as the result of a democratic process, "A Warning to the Jews of America." ]
For example, in a speech in Stuttgart on February 16, 1933, Hitler said:
"Today Christians ... stand at the head of Germany ... I pledge that I never will tie myself to parties who want to destroy Christianity ... We want to fill our culture again with the Christian spirit ... We want to burn out all the recent immoral developments in literature, in the theater, and in the press - in short, we want to burn out the poison of immorality which has entered into our whole life and culture as a result of liberal excess during the past ... [few] years."
In a following address to the German people, he promised:
"The national government ... will maintain and defend the foundations on which the power of our nation rests. It will offer strong protection to Christianity as the very basis of our collective morality."
It's only a few years from now that all this will transpire and Trump will seize control of the country. We urge all of you to take note of this fact. [Please see our article on Trump as the antiChrist, "Trump as the Anti-Christ." ]
In His love,
We ask you to bear in mind what the Apostle Paul told those who followed him; that if we have blessed you with SPIRITUAL gifts, is it too much to ask that you would reciprocate with FINANCIAL gifts?
WE URGE YOU TO TAKE A STAND AND PUBLICALLY WITNESS AGAINST THE CHURCH'S ALMOST UNREASONING SUPPORT OF DONALD TRUMP. [PLEASE SEE OUR ARTICLE, "TRUMP AS THE ANTI-CHRIST."]
SPEAK OUT (ie., WITNESS) AGAINST THE DECEPTION OF THE FALSE PROPHETS OF TODAY'S CHURCH LIKE JOHN HAGEE.
The WHITE ROSE SOCIETY was a group formed by students Hans and Sophie Scholl and a band of Christian friends and professors. Their common goal was to stand against the Nazi regime that was terrorizing their country in the early 1940's, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY TO DECLARE THAT CHRIST WAS THE SUPREME POWER AND NOT ADOLPH HITLER. They secretly wrote and printed leaflets behind a church organ. They would then take as many as 2000 of them at a time and randomly distribute this bold writing in cities such as Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Vienna, Frieburg, Saarbreuken and Mannheim. As a result of taking part in these activities, seven of its members were executed between February 1943 and October 1944.
THE QUESTION HERE, AS IT WAS FOR SOPHIE AND HANS SCHOLL IS THIS: DO YOU FEAR MORE THE WRATH OF MAN OR THE WRATH OF GOD??
Finally, we urge you to download our flyers and pass them out; nail them to trees, lamp-posts; place them on cars, in windows; hand them to your neighbors and friends, etc. Download flyers to be passed out to friends and neighbors and pinned on trees, in windows, on church bulletin boards, etc.
In the light of all that's been happening recently - and we speak here of the Trump presidency, Islamic terrorism, the new anti-Semitism directed against both Jews and the Jewish state (Israel), the growing storm clouds over the Middle east which are harbingers of the coming Gog / Magog War, and that my wife and I can recover fully from our illnesses so that the work of the ministry can continue with vigor. In connection with the work of the ministry, we DESPERATELY need your financial help if we are to continue on with the work God has given us. The help you send will not accrue to any single individual, but will be directed to the effort of the ministry to bring TRUTH to you that you cannot receive anywhere else.
We ask you to bear in mind what the Apostle Paul told those who followed him; that if we have blessed you with SPIRITUAL gifts, is it too much to ask that you would reciprocate with FINANCIAL gifts.
