THE
"IN-BETWEEN" TIME:
Thinking about Divorce
[Part 2 in our series
exposing the so-called
"moderates"
in the Republican and Democratic Parties]

"There had been … warning signs
foreshadowing the coming [Nazi] storm; but in the confusion of the moment,
these signs were difficult to discern."

Walter Laqueur |
INTRODUCTION
There are periods when time seems to go into slow motion; when great and
contradictory forces that are battling against one another seem to abate -
though not completely; just enough to give people a sense that time is on
their side; that the crisis they had sensed was about to explode upon them
has diminished to the extent that they can now begin to relax a little.
This is what happened in Germany between September 1930 - when the Nazis
won a surprising victory in the elections of that year, a victory that seemed
to presage their immediate ascent to power - and January 1933 when the
Nazis finally seized power once and for all; an interval of about two and a
half years when, as Walter Laqueur writes,
"There seemed nothing
inevitable about the advance of the Hitler catastrophe."
A STRANGE PARALLEL
In a very real way, this is also what has happened with regard to the
emergence of a "CHRISTO-FASCIST"
state in this country - a state that the Left has been excitedly warning
people about ever since George Bush II and his Christian followers seized the
presidency in 2000.
It seems now - from the perspective of some several years - that the
Christian Right's triumph in 2000 and 2004 was premature; it was, to put it
colorfully, "UNRIPE." It
was more an expression of a "mood" of voter dissatisfaction with
the direction of the country as a whole than it was an endorsement of "CHRISTO-FASCISM."
NOTE: We use the term "Christo-Fascism"
because NOWHERE does the New
Testament endorse the concept of a "Christian state." On the
contrary, Jesus said:
"My kingdom is NOT of this world: if my kingdom were of this world,
then would my servants fight ... but now is my kingdom not from hence."
(John 18:36) [Please see our article, "George
Bush, the Promise Keepers and the Principles of Messianic Leadership" for a thorough discussion of
the fascist belief system of those who endorse a Christian takeover in the
United States.]
Getting back to what happened in Germany, Laqueur continues:
"The vote for Hitler and
his party was at that stage (i.e., 1930) essentially the expression of a mood
... It was a vote which expressed the conviction that Germany was badly
governed, that the established political parties and parliament were
incompetent, that new men and ideas were needed to cope with the
crisis."
THE GERMAN CENTER PARTIES
OF THE 1920s & EARLY 1930s
In other words, people did not vote so much FOR the Nazis in 1930 as they voted AGAINST the status quo of the so-called CENTER (or "moderate") parties that had
governed Germany during the 1920s; specifically, the SPD (the Social
Democrats), the German Democratic Party, and the Catholic Center Party -
parties that were essentially "do-nothing" parties void of any real
purpose or overarching rationale for governing. They were parties of COMPROMISE, CONCILIATION and HALF-MEASURES - much as the "moderate" wings of the
Democratic and Republican Parties are today. They were parties without souls;
parties without answers.
But - and this is important - THEY WERE NON-THREATENING: they menaced no one; they frightened no one. On
the other hand, the Nazis were threatening and intimidating. Yes! - the Nazis
offered answers, but these answers would come at a price: heads would roll if
they gained control of the state, and so ordinary Germans, after being
tempted in 1930, drew back again to the comfort and safety of the center
parties.
BIG BUSINESS: CONTROLLING THE
COUNTRY BY CONTROLLING THE CENTER
And it wasn't just average people who withdrew to the security and
so-called "moderation" of the CENTER; Big Business and the elites retreated there as well. The fact is,
the kind of turmoil (and street brawling) with which the Nazis threatened
Germany was not good for business. Hence, like most of Germany's population
in 1930, Big Business too "re-cloistered" itself in the CENTER where it portrayed itself as a champion against
the radicalism of the Right, and in doing so, pretended to keep the HORROR of the Nazis (and, for that matter, the
Communists) at bay.
NOTE: The retreat of the German people back to the
Center was very short-lived; soon the hemorrhaging began anew, away from the
Center and back to the radical Right and the radical Left.
Most people today are surprised when they learn that German Big Business
did not support the Nazis until very late "in the game." But the
truth is, it was from the CENTER and
- quite remarkably - it was in conjunction with "moderate" SOCIALISTS, that Big Business managed not only its own
affairs during the third decade of the Twentieth Century (i.e., the 1920s),
but most of Germany's affairs as well.
The very real fact of the matter was, German Big Business had successfully
co-opted the leaders of Germany's center parties, most of whom, at least in
name if not in practice, were "socialists." Ebert, Noske,
Scheidemann, Stresemann, etc. - all these men (socialists, everyone of them)
had been "bought off" and made the servants of "Big
Business," just as most of today's leaders in the Democratic Party in
the United States have been similarly "bought off" - betraying the
party's historic roots as a "workingman's party."
NOTE: And so now we begin to understand that the Bible
wasn't kidding around when it warned of the "deceitfulness of
money" (Matthew 13:22 and Mark 4:19); and it wasn't stretching the truth
when it said:
"They that will be rich
fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and
perdition." (1 Timothy 6:9)
That's certainly what
happened to Ebert, Scheidemann, etc. - they fell into a temptation which
drowned them in perdition and compromised their ideological credentials; so
also the leaders of today's Democratic Party.
NEUTRALIZING THE POWER OF "THE PEOPLE"
BY SEIZING CONTROL OF THE POLITICAL CENTER
BIG BUSINESS IN GERMANY HAD LEARNED THAT BY CONTROLLING THE
"POLITICAL CENTER" IN GERMAN POLITICS, THEY COULD NEUTRALIZE THE
POWER OF THE RIGHT (THE NAZIS) AND THE LEFT (THE COMMUNISTS) - both of which threatened to limit the power of
the elites over not just the German economy, but the German nation as well.
THIS, OF COURSE, IS PRECISELY WHAT BIG BUSINESS IS DOING IN THE UNITED
STATES TODAY. While the United States
does not possess the plethora of political parties most European
parliamentary democracies do - with definable left-wing parties, center
parties, and right-wing parties - in the two party system the U.S. operates,
each party possesses a "moderate" wing and an
"ideological" wing.
The "moderate" wing in both parties answers to the Center
parties of the European parliamentary democracies, while the so-called
"ideological" wing in these same parties answers to the so-called
"radical" parties of the European democracies. In the case of the
Democratic Party, the "ideological" wing of the party answers to
the left-wing parties in Europe's parliamentary democracies; and in the case
of the Republican Party, the "ideological" wing there answers to
the right-wing parties in these same democracies - so that in the end, there
is not much difference in the way democracy functions in both the United
States and Europe.
REPUBLOCRATS
It's in this connection that it would not be "out of line" to
say that the "moderate" wings of each respective party often have
more in common with each other than they do with their more
ideologically-oriented wings - HENCE THE NAME MANY POLITICAL PUNDITS HAVE
GIVEN THOSE WHO OCCUPY THE CENTER OF AMERICA'S TWO POLITICAL PARTIES: "REPUBLOCRATS."
That's what Arlen Specter is; that's what John McCain, both Bush I and
even Bush II, both Clintons (Bill and Hillary), Richardson, Rudi Guillani,
Barrack Obama, etc. are - they're all "REPUBLOCRATS" - and in the end, they are all beholden to
the elites just as their counterparts were in Germany seventy years ago. They
are all "water carriers" for the rich, their protestations to the
contrary notwithstanding.
ROOM FOR MANEUVER
Now it's important to note that within this scheme of things, there is
some room for the elites to move Right of center or Left of center under the
exigencies of the moment. This is what the elites did in the United States
during the 1980s when they moved right of center under Reagan and Bush I, in
the 1990s when they moved left of center under Clinton, and again in the
first decade of the current century when they moved right of center again
with Bush II.
And this is precisely what Big Business did in Germany when the political
climate in the mid-1920s suggested an emphasis on "nationalism"
(and, hence, a move to the center-right) in response to Germany's inability
to meet her onerous obligations insofar as the Treaty of Versailles was
concerned, and a move toward "socialism" (and, hence, a move to the
center-left) in response to the hyper-inflation of the very early-1920s.
IN GERMANY, THIS RUSE
WORKED FOR ONLY SO LONG ...
The great weakness in this scheme of things, however, is that this
contrivance is a viable stratagem against what the elites see as the
"hair-brained" excesses of the political Right and the political
Left" only so long as "the money flows and the good times roll,"
or - at the very least - when there is a modicum of economic security, and
the danger of war seems relatively remote. Such was the case in Germany in
most of the 1920s.
Unfortunately for Germany, those "good times" came to an end
with the onset of the GREAT DEPRESSION of the 1930s.
UNDER THE PRESSURE OF THIS CRISIS, THE GERMAN CENTER PARTIES BEGAN TO
COLLAPSE AS PEOPLE REALIZED THAT THE "MODERATES" HAD NOTHING TO
OFFER AS A MEANINGFUL SOLUTION TO THE CRISIS THEY WERE CONFRONTING. Laqueur explains:
"The growth of the Nazis
on the one hand and the advance of the Communists on the other were directly
connected with the economic crisis which had started in Wall Street ... and
then quickly spread to Europe. While the financial collapse affected all
European countries, it had particularly grave consequences in Germany, which
was suffering from an endemic agricultural crisis and, in view of the shocks
of the early 1920s, was psychologically ill-prepared for further setbacks
..."
CHANGING THE POLITICAL EQUATION
The economic crisis provoked by the Great Depression was the catalyst that
began shifting once and for all the German electorate away from the Center
(and the so-called "moderates") to the Nazis and the Communists.
AS GERMANY'S POLITICAL
EQUATION CONTINUED TO SHIFT AWAY FROM THE CENTER, THE COMMUNISTS AND THE
NAZIS AT LAST CAME FACE TO FACE WITH EACH OTHER WITH NO ONE IN THE MIDDLE TO
"MODERATE" THEIR DIFFERENCES. AS A RESULT, THERE COULD NO LONGER BE
ANY COMPROMISE, ANY "TRADE-OFFS," ANY "GIVE AND TAKE."
In the fight between these two implacable foes, there could be no quarter
asked, and no quarter given. It was to be a fight to the death; their HATRED for one another could tolerate nothing else.
Laqueur writes:
"In Germany ... the Right
was firmly convinced that the Left was anti-patriotic and thus NOT PART OF
THE GERMAN PEOPLE, while the Left
claimed that the Right was STUPID and BARBARIC."
Laqueur elaborates further:
"The German Right regarded
the left-wing intelligentsia as a noxious element; the ... liberal
intellectuals were more dangerous than gangsters, for ordinary criminals were
merely engaged in offences against property, and occasionally violence
against persons, whereas the left-wing intellectuals were helping to bring
about the SPIRITUAL murder of an
entire nation."
ONE SHOULD TAKE CAREFUL NOTE OF WHAT LAQUEUR IS SAYING HERE: IN A VERY
REAL WAY HE IS DESCRIBING THE SAME DYNAMIC THAT EXISTS IN THE UNITED STATES
BETWEEN WHAT PUNDITS LIKE SEAN HANNITY, BILL O'OREILLY AND RUSS LIMBAUGH CALL
"SECULAR-PROGRESSIVES" AND THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT.
BETWIXT & BETWEEN
The heated clash between Left and Right in Germany was reflected in the
fact that four different governments and several elections came and went
between 1930 and 1933, and with each new election and each new government the
ground underneath the "moderates" (Germany's Center parties) eroded
that much more.
Surprisingly, however, after the Nazi win in the election of 1930 it was
the Left that seemed to be gaining ground rather than the Right - that is,
when one combined the tallies for the Communists and their pseudo-allies, the
Social Democrats. This is precisely what seems to be occurring now in
America's "In-Between Time."
THE CRAZIES TAKE OVER IN GERMANY
But there were forces at work underneath the German political landscape
that belied what was happening on the surface; specifically, the economic
elites - in viewing what was occurring, and realizing that they would have to
choose between the radical Left (i.e., the Communists) and the radical Right
(i.e., the Nazis) - finally chose the Nazis behind which they would throw
their political support and THEIR MONEY.
Of course, the choice here was really no choice at all: it was, after all,
a choice between "junior status" with the Nazis or annihilation
with the Communists. To Germany's ultra-rich - Thyssen, Schacht, Krupp,
Bosch, Siemens, Wormann, Vogler, I.G. Farben, etc. - it was better to be a
"junior partner" in Hitler's Third Reich than a corpse in an
unmarked grave in a Communist "People's Republic."
AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, CONTRARY TO WHAT MANY TODAY BELIEVE,
THAT'S WHAT THE ULTRA-RICH WERE IN HITLER'S THIRD REICH - "JUNIOR
PARTNERS." THE WORM HAD TURNED,
and while the rich profited greatly in the Third Reich, one needs to be clear
here: THE CRAZIES HAD TAKEN OVER.
THE WORM IS TURNING IN THE UNITED STATES
Today, the United States is facing a similar crisis to the one Germany
faced in the early 1930s; in the United States it's not so much an economic
crisis as it is a CRISIS OF EMPIRE -
a crisis brought on by the increasing burden of holding together the American
New World Order System, and - ipso facto - the pitiless and
ruthless capitalist system upon which the American Empire rests.
So severe has this crisis become - especially in the Middle East - that it
is provoking an implosion of the so-called "moderate" wings of
America's two political parties and the concomitant emergence of their more
"ideologically-oriented" wings; specifically -
In the Democratic Party, the LEFT is calling for a
"WITHDRAWAL FROM EMPIRE" - something that would bring complete
economic RUIN to the elites.
In addition, the Left is advocating social and
cultural changes that would once and for all SECULARIZE the country and turn the United States into a
true multi-ethnic state that most white Americans would little recognize nor
support.
And -
In the Republican Party, the RIGHT is calling for
- if not the "withdrawal from empire" that the ideological Left is
clamoring for - then trade and immigration policies that would severely
impinge on the economic elites' ability to regulate the American New World
Order System.
Not only that, they are demanding social and
cultural reforms that - if they were carried forward with any vigor - could
well turn the United States into a full-fledged "CHRISTO-FASCIST" state with a "culture of
religion" not dissimilar to the one that prevailed in Spain during the
Spanish Inquisition.
DEMOCRATS: VEERING TO THE LEFT
The speed at which the left-wing of the Democratic Party is forcing that
party to veer Left in OPEN OPPOSITION TO THE CENTRIST POLICIES ADVOCATED
BY THE DEMOCRATIC LEADERSHIP COUNCIL (DLC) AND THE PARTY'S "MODERATE
WING" is unprecedented, and is
leading to the splintering of the nascent business alliance that Bill Clinton
had so carefully crafted for his party in the 1990s.
Commenting on what's been going on, Noam Levy writes:
"Emboldened by President
Bush's [failed war policies] ... congressional Democrats are shedding their
wariness about tackling the war and EMBRACING POSITIONS ONCE PRIMARILY
HELD BY THE PARTY'S MOST LIBERAL FRINGE.
Centrist Democrats are lining up beside longtime antiwar liberals, promising
to do everything in their power to stop the [war in Iraq]. 'Ours is now the
mainstream position', said Rep. Lynn Woolsey (D-Petaluma), who two years ago
saw her resolution calling for the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq
crushed on the House floor ...
"The Democrats' rapid
embrace of what were once minority positions [parallels what happened during
the Vietnam War] ...
"When the Democrats
returned to [power] on Capitol Hill [earlier this year], House Speaker Nancy
Pelosi (D-San Francisco) and other senior party leaders had planned to focus
on a purely domestic agenda. They cautiously avoided talk of cutting funding
or other measures to compel Bush to change course in Iraq.
"But [shortly after] Sen.
Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), in a speech laced with references to the
mistakes of Vietnam, announced his intention to introduce a bill that would
require the president to seek congressional approval for any troop increase
in Iraq, [the centrist policies initially embraced by the democratic
leadership collapsed in a rush to the Left]."
Now that rush has turned into a stampede led by such radical-left
organizations as "MoveOn.Org." They're sporting T-shirts saying,
"I never thought I'd miss Nixon"
and "Iraq is Arabic for Vietnam," and they're being joined by a plethora of other left-wing
organizations carrying social and cultural baggage that is anathema to the
political Right, such as -
-
Abortion on Demand.
-
Homosexuals in the military.
Militant Feminism.
Gay marriage.
The TOTAL secularization of the state.
Open borders with Mexico.
RADICAL affirmative action.
"Alternative" life-styles taught in the schools.
Ad nauseum, ad infinitum.
To make matters even worse, a growing number of Democrats - not all of
them radical left-wingers - have joined with Democratic Representative Dennis
Kucinich of Ohio in urging the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney and
ultimately of George Bush - a position that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid
himself is not that far from embracing.
THE SUNDERING OF THE RELIGIOUS
RIGHT / BUSINESS RIGHT COALITION
Naturally enough, the same political pathology that is at work in the
Democratic Party is at work in the Republican Party. It's a process that is
forcing the "moderates" and the "ideologues" to
contemplate a break with one another. Peggy Noonan, a well-known Republican
Party consultant and a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, commenting on the growing tension between the
Business Right (i.e., the "moderates") and the Religious Right
(i.e., the "ideologues") in the Republican Party, writes:
"Bush the younger ...
presented himself [in 2000] as a [Religious Right] conservative; he garnered
all the frustrated hopes of his party, turned them into victory. Not nine
months later he was handed a historical trauma that rallied his country
around him, lifting him to unprecedented popularity, and bonding his party to
him. He was disciplined and often daring. BUT NOW HE HAS SUNDERED THE
PARTY THAT RALLIED TO HIM, AND BROKE HIS COALITION INTO PIECES."
And there's more: the pressure exerted on the Business Right / Religious
Right Coalition as a result of Bush's seeming failure in Iraq has exposed the
latent hostility (and even disdain) the Business Right (the so-called
"moderate" wing of the party) has for the Religious Right (the
so-called "ideological" wing of the party). They seem unable to
contain their disdain any longer, and THIS POSES ILL FOR THE SO-CALLED
"MODERATES" IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE."
THE BUSINESS RIGHT: STRANGELY LIBERATED
Strangely enough, the "moderates" seem blind to the danger
they're creating for themselves here - just as the Centrists in Germany
remained ignorant of what was happening to them in 1930-'33, a period when
the very ground under the Center parties was giving away; but a time which,
on the surface at least, did not seem to foreshadow a "Hitler
catastrophe," as Laqueur put it.
And that's exactly the kind of stupidity that has overtaken the Business
Right in the United States today - a stupidity born of arrogance. Indeed,
according to Noonan, the splintering of the Business Right/Religious Right
Coalition has left the Business Right feeling strangely "liberated."
Noonan explains:
"Desperate straits have
left them [i.e., the Business elites] liberated, and they are acting out
their disdain [against their erstwhile partners in the Religious Right].
Leading Democrats often think their base is slightly mad [crazy] but at least
their heart is in the right place. The [Business Right] and the White House THINK
THEIR BASE [i.e., THE MEMBERS OF THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT] ARE JUST PLAIN STUPID."
That's quite an indictment. She drives her point home by saying:
"What ... 'On-The-Ground-Republicans'
[i.e., members of the Religious Right] must understand at this point is that
they are not breaking with the ... [Business Right] and the White House, [the
Business Right and the White House are breaking with them] ... What President
Bush is doing, and has been doing for some time, is sundering a great
political coalition [in the interest of his real masters in the Business
Right] ..."
THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY
Noonan says that the -
"White House [thinks that
it] doesn't need its traditional supporters anymore, BECAUSE ITS PROBLEMS
ARE WAY BEYOND BEING SOLVED BY THE BASE [i.e., by its allies in the Religious Right]."
They think that by moving back to the Center, they can increase their
chances to win in 2008. Noonan says, however, that the White House and the
Business Right are making a big mistake here: THERE IS NO MORE CENTER TO
WHICH THE BUSINESS RIGHT CAN RETREAT,
and in despising their erstwhile "redneck" and
"trailer-park-trash" allies in the Religious Right, the elites have
infuriated them against themselves.
Should the Right eventually prevail over the Left in the upcoming war
between the two, THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY, and the Business Right may find itself in exactly the same position
that Germany's business community found itself in with the Nazis after
January 1933: as "JUNIOR PARTNERS."
THE IMMIGRATION BILL: THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT
REFUSES TO PLAY BALL WITH THE BUSINESS RIGHT
Noonan is aghast at how blind the elites are to the way the ground is
shifting underneath them - and she says that this blindness is especially
apparent in the way they are pushing the current immigration bill. The
tension that has developed between the White House and its Business Right
allies (on the one hand), and the Republican Party base made up of the
Religious Right (on the other hand) is fairly palpable.
Bush and his followers in the Business Right are pushing an immigration
bill designed around the needs of Big Business for CHEAP LABOR that most members of the Religious Right view as
abhorrent.
To members of the Religious Right, the immigration bill that Bush and his
Business Right partners are pushing will doom the America they love and
treasure forever - the America celebrated in such TV serials as
"Mayberry" and "Leave It to Beaver;" the America of John
Wayne and Gary Cooper; the America memorialized by the "Alamo Myth"
where Davie Crocket, Jim Bowie, and Col. Travis tried to stave off the
"half-civilized" hoards of Mexicans under "Generalissimo
Antonio Lopez de Santa Ana; the America where Sam Houston and his army of
"gringo" Texans routed the "Generalissimo" at San Jacinto
with the words "Remember the Alamo."
NOTE: To "get" the proper disdain here, the
word "Generalissimo" must roll off the tongue with just the right amount
of sneering contempt; and the names, "Antonio" and
"Lopez" must be emphasized with just the right amount of scorn.
A WORLD THAT IS SECRETLY HAUNTED
It's a world that is secretly haunted by the thought of being inundated by
brown-skinned hoards coming up from Mexico with vengeance in their eyes and
slaughter in their breath for the way they have been treated over the years
by white-skinned "gringos." Of course, Bush's evangelical base
would never admit any of this - i.e., that they "buy into" the racism
inherent in this kind of thinking. But the racism is there, kept hidden by
the force of the new "political correctness" that dominates the
culture today - just barely. And it's not just Christian-evangelicals.
The very real fact of the matter is, many more people in the United States
than those who constitute the "base" of the Republican Party agree
with Jean Raspail, who said in Camp of the Saints,
"There is a third-world
invasion of the West taking place. We are under attack. And we can either
make a stand against the third-world hordes, or we can watch the West
crumble."
Basil Harrington, speaking for more people than either the elites in the
Republican Party or the Democratic Party would care to admit, writes:
"We must address the
problem now. WE NEED DEPORTATIONS,
attrition and employer sanctions. We need all immigration (legal and illegal)
to end ...
"But many seem not to
care. Many politicians and corporations are supporting this invasion. Why?
Either for cheap votes or to drive down American wages."
Harrington continues:
"Failure to address this
invasion not only is a dereliction of duty, but it is a form of treason. And
many of the presidential candidates are guilty of treason: Rudolph Giuliani,
John McCain, Sam Brownback, Tommy Thompson, Mike Huckabe ... every last one of
them."
THE BUSINESS ELITES JUST DON'T "GET IT"
Very obviously, the Business Right of the Republican Party just doesn't
get it; in pushing the new immigration bill - A BILL THAT WILL NO DOUBT CHANGE THE COUNTRY CULTURALLY AND SOCIALLY FOREVER - the Business Right (i.e., the so-called "moderates" of
the Republican Party) is trampling on everything the Religious Right (i.e.,
the "ideologues" of the Republican Party) holds dear. In
jeopardizing the America of John Wayne and "Leave It to Beaver,"
the Religious Right cannot help but conclude that the elites are putting at
risk the concept of America as God's great "REDEEMER NATION" - FOR CERTAINLY SUCH A
"REDEEMER NATION" COULD NOT EMERGE FROM THE INDIAN CULTURES OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA, or so the
Religious Right thinks.
Moreover - as if push the point to where it "kills" - the
elites, in pressing their new immigration bill, have dared to call into
question the PATRIOTISM of their
base. Now think about the seriousness of that: it's tantamount to labeling
those who signed the Declaration of Independence "Tories."
Patriotism is what defines those who constitute the base of the Republican
Party. Noonan elaborates:
"The president has taken
to suggesting that opponents of his immigration bill [specifically, his
erstwhile allies on the Religious Right] are UNPATRIOTIC--they 'don't want to do what's right for
America'. His ally Sen. Lindsey Graham has said, 'We're gonna tell the BIGOTS to shut up'. Former Bush speechwriter Michael
Gerson said those who oppose [Bush's immigration] bill are
"anti-immigrant" and suggested they suffer from 'rage' and
'national chauvinism'."
Again, that's heavy: calling members of his base in the Religious Right
"unpatriotic," suggesting that they are "bigots," and
telling them to "shut up."
All this has left many in the so-called base of the Republican Party
(i.e., the members of the Religious Right) feeling, as Noonan puts it, like -
"... sufferers of battered
wife syndrome ..."
ADDING INSULT TO INJURY:
UNACCEPTABLE CANDIDATES
All this has led to a burning rage among the "ideologues" (i.e.,
the base) of the Republican Party against the elites, and that rage has not
been diminished by the cavalier way in which the elites (again, the so-called
"moderates") have put forward candidates for the 2008 presidential
election with little or no regard as to whether they are acceptable to the
base. And the fact is, NOT ONE OF THE SO-CALLED "FIRST-TIER"
CANDIDATES PROMOTED BY THE "WISEMEN" OF THE PARTY EMBRACES THE
SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ISSUES THAT THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT VIEWS AS IMPORTANT.
The elites believe, however, that after the choice has been made, the
Religious Right will do what it has always done: Salute and fall into line.
BUT THIS HIGH-HANDED, ELITIST ATTITUDE IS PRECISELY WHAT THE BASE OF
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY FINDS SO DISTASTEFUL,
and there are very powerful members of the Religious Right who are moving to
wreck the candidacies of those the Business Right have anointed.
FRED THOMPSON, MITT ROMNEY, JOHN McCAIN
For example, James Dobson has already moved against the candidacy of Fred
Thompson before Thompson has even announced his candidacy. Dobson says of
Thompson:
"Everyone knows he's
conservative and has come out strongly for the things that the pro-family
movement stands for. [But] I DON'T THINK HE'S A CHRISTIAN; at least that's my impression."
Dobson went on to say that such an impression would make it difficult for
Thompson to connect with the Republican Party's conservative Christian base
and win the GOP nomination.
In a follow-up phone conversation, Focus on the Family spokesman Gary
Schneeberger stood by Dobson's claim. He said that, while Dobson didn't
believe Thompson to be a member of a non-Christian faith, Dobson nevertheless
-
"... HAS NEVER KNOWN
THOMPSON TO BE A COMMITTED CHRISTIAN -
someone who talks openly about his faith."
That's probably a "killer" for Thompson insofar as any support
from the Republican base is concerned - although you would never know it to
hear the political pundits gush all over Thompson's candidacy and who promote
"jerry-rigged" polls to suggest that Thompson is popular with the
base. However, these are pundits who for the most part have no real idea of
the clout Dobson carries in the Religious Right.
But Richard Land, President of the Southern Baptist Convention, knows. He
describes Dobson as -
''The most respected and
influential person in evangelical Christendom."
Ralph Neas, president of the liberal group People for the American Way and
no "lover" of Dobson, agrees with Land. He says:
''There is no question that
James Dobson is the most powerful and most influential voice on the religious
right."
And it's not just Thompson with whom Dobson has taken issue: take Mitt
Romney. Dobson has declared Romney's recent conversion to a pro-life position
on abortion and his stance against gay marriage as "suspect." And
as for his Mormonism, Dobson says:
"I think that might be an
impediment for him ... CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIANS WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM BECAUSE
OF HIS MORMAN FAITH."
And that's true! So much for Romney.
And then there's John McCain. Dobson dismisses McCain's candidacy with
utter contempt; he says:
"I WILL NOT VOTE FOR
McCAIN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES."
THE BUSINESS RIGHT MAY HAVE CROSSED
THE LINE WITH THEIR ERSTWHILE ALLIES
Still, these are the candidates that the elites (i.e., the so-called
"moderates") in the Republican Party are promoting - and they are
doing so knowing full well that they are infuriating their base.
Noonan is right when she says that the Republican base has every right to
feel like a "battered wife." The elites have gone from saying to
their base -
"Too bad' [insofar as your
opposition to Bush's immigration policies] to YOU'RE BAD."
YOU'RE BAD? - that's what
the elites think of their base in the Republican Party? This is exactly what
husbands who batter their wives tell them before "beating the shit out
of them" all the more. Noonan asks incredulously,
"Why would they speak so
insultingly ... [about their supposed partners in the Religious Right] and with
such hostility?"
And the parallel doesn't stop there: Like all husbands who batter their
wives, the elites think that they can get away with it because their spouses
(i.e., the members of the Republican base) don’t have the gumption to leave
them.
BUT THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE BASE MAY BE THINKING OF DOING! The fact is, in calling them
"unpatriotic," the elites may have CROSSED THE LINE insofar as the Religious Right is concerned.
DIVORCE AS THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT'S
ONLY ANSWER
TO THE "WIFE
BEATING" THEY'VE BEEN SUFFERING
DIVORCE may now be the Religious
Right's only answer to the Business Right.
What use is the Business Right to the Religious Right under such
circumstances? – the Religious Right might just as well get rid of Business
Right and "GO IT ALONE."
That's what Dobson is thinking, especially as he considers the candidacy of
the elite's "favorite son," former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
Dobson says of Giuliani:
"Is Rudy Giuliani
presidential timber? I think not. Can we really trust a chief executive who
waffles and feigns support for policies that run contrary to his alleged
beliefs? Of greater concern is how he would function in office. Will we learn
after it is too late just what the former mayor really thinks? What we know about
him already is troubling enough."
Dobson says that Giuliani's support for abortion rights and civil unions
for homosexuals, as well as the former mayor's two divorces, are -
"A deal-breaker for
me."
He goes on to say:
"I cannot AND I WILL
NOT VOTE for Rudy Giuliani in 2008. IT
IS AN IRREVOCABLE DECISION."
Then, coming close to mouthing what he is probably really feeling about
the Republican Party, Dobson said:
"If given a Hobson's
choice between Giuliani and Senators Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, I will
either cast my ballot for an also-ran -- OR IF WORSE COMES TO WORSE, I
WILL NOT VOTE IN THE UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. My
conscience and my moral convictions will allow me to do nothing else."
STARTING ANEW
Dobson continues ominously:
"GOP Christians and
conservatives will abandon ... [the GOP] if they continue to ignore the most
important issues."
And it's not just Dobson that thinks this is a very real possibility.
Donald Wildmon, another heavy weight in the Religious Right, says:
"Values Voters are not
going to carry the water for the Republican Party if it ignores their deeply
held convictions and beliefs."
Now one must stop and understand something: what Dobson, Wildmon, et.
al. are saying here is PREGNANT with meaning; they're saying that they are coming very close to abandoning
the GOP and starting their own party.
Basil Harrington writes:
"The Democratic Party, was
in the 19th century the conservative party while the GOP was the left-wing
party ... Now the GOP is going the same ... route: mass immigration to drive down
American wages, and suicidal free trade pacts, etc. We cannot stand for this
nonsense! If Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter do not get the GOP nomination ...
[we should start our own party]. The GOP is doomed anyway and, hopefully, out
of the ashes a true conservative party will arise ..."
A GRASS-ROOTS DONORS' REBELLION
As if to add emphasis to all this, Ralph Z. Hallow of the Washington
Times reports that the Republican
National Committee has been hit by a grass-roots donors' rebellion over
President Bush's immigration policy - a rebellion that has caused an
estimated 40 percent falloff in small-donor contributions. All this has led
to the firing of 60 members of the RNC's solicitation staff ... Several of the
solicitors fired at that time blamed the falloff of donor contributions
directly on Bush's proposed immigration bill. One fired staff member said,
"Every donor in 50 states
we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for
99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue."
She continued:
"We have not heard anyone
in our donor calls who supported the president on immigration. We write these
comments up from each call, and give them to a supervisor who passes them on
to the finance director or the national chairman."
She refused to identify herself because the severance pay the RNC had
agreed to pay her was contingent on her not criticizing the national
committee.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) and the National
Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) both report having trouble raising
money from the small donors who are - after everything is said and done - the
backbone of ... the Republican Party.
WHAT DOES ALL THIS PORTEND
The question that might fairly be asked now is, What would happen if the
Religious Right decides to sit the 2008 election out? What would happen if
Dobson suggests to "his people" to stay home on election day? - and
make no mistake about it, DOBSON IS NOT THE KIND OF PERSON TO ISSUE IDLE
THREATS. One should take him at his word
-
When he says that he will not vote for any of the
current frontrunners that the elites have put forward as Republican Party
candidates.
When he says,
"I cannot AND I WILL
NOT VOTE for Rudy Giuliani [or, for that
matter, Mitt Romney, or Fred Thompson, or John McCain, etc.] in 2008. IT
IS AN IRREVOCABLE DECISION."
When he goes on to say,
"If given a Hobson's
choice between Giuliani and Senators Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, I will
either cast my ballot for an also-ran -- OR, IF WORSE COMES TO WORSE, I
WILL NOT VOTE IN THE UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. My
conscience and my moral convictions will allow me to do nothing else."
And finally when he says,
"GOP Christians and
conservatives will abandon ... [the GOP] if they continue to ignore the most
important issues."
Or when Donald Wildmon says:
"Values Voters are not
going to carry the water for the Republican Party if it ignores their deeply
held convictions and beliefs."
THESE ARE NOT IDLE THREATS;
DOBSON IS NOT FALWELL
Again, these are not idle threats, and the Republican Party elites are
making a big mistake when they believe that after one of their candidates is
chosen as the party's nominee, Dobson and his followers will fall into line.
That's what Jerry Falwell might have done, but that's not what Dobson will
do. The elites' clutches were much more deeply embedded in Falwell than they
are in Dobson. Dobson has never taken money from the elites the way Falwell
did; they have no real claim on him.
Moreover, the elites are wrong, very wrong, in thinking that the Religious
Right will be mollified by Bush and his cohorts if they try to ingratiate
themselves with the base by throwing them some "values legislation"
as scraps they can chew on after pushing unrestricted immigration and a whole
host of other elitist legislation. No! - Bush and his cohorts have shown
their colors: they are "elitists" first, and "Christians"
second.
As things stand now, all it would take from Dobson is a "wink and a
nod" to his followers for them to sit out the election of 2008; the base
of the Republican Party is that INFURIATED with both Bush and the Business Right – and so much so that BUSH
IS BEGINNING TO BE VIEWED BY DOBSON AND HIS FOLLOWERS AS A TRAITOR.
LET THE COUNTRY GET A TASTE
OF THE RADICAL DEMOCRATS
No! - the Republican base has had enough of Bush; and they've had enough
of the Republican Party. A pox on Bush; a pox on the Republicans; a pox on
the Business Right and a pox on those "middling" Americans who
refuse to see what homosexuals in the military, militant feminism,
unrestricted immigration, etc. will do to the country - or so the Religious
Right firmly believes.
Let all these people get a taste of what a withdrawal from the Middle East
might mean insofar as the threat from Islamic fundamentalism is concerned;
let them all get a taste of gays dancing with other gays at West Point and
Annapolis; let them get a taste of having to deal with the necessity of
knowing Spanish in order to get a job as a clerk in a government bureaucracy
or as a worker on a construction site; let them get a taste of the Mexican
flag supplanting the Stars and Stripes not only in Los Angeles and El Paso,
but in "Small Town," USA in North Dakota, Iowa, and North Carolina.
LET THE BUSINESS RIGHT GET A
TASTE OF THE RADICAL DEMOCRATS
And it's not just the fact that the country per se should get a taste of what all this might mean:
The Business Right as well should get a taste of what a Democratic win in
2008 will mean; they should ask themselves the question, What will happen to
the American New World Order System if the Democrats win? Do the elites
really think that "their people" in the Democratic Leadership
Conference (the DLC) can control the party? They can hardly control the party
now in the face of the "MoveOn.Org" onslaught against them.
What will the elites do if populists such as Dennis Kucinich begin
promoting their economic agenda - an agenda aimed straight at their wallets?
What will they do if the "radicals" get control of the foreign
policy agenda in the Senate and the House and begin forcing a "WITHDRAWAL
FROM EMPIRE?" - and in this
connection it should be noted that the "radicals" already control
the "chairs" of the appropriate House and Senate foreign relations
committees.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE CHRISTIAN
RIGHT'S PROPOSED POLICE STATE
We have said that there are periods when time seems to go into slow
motion; and that's precisely what seems to be occurring today insofar as a
"CHRISTO-FASCIST" takeover
of the country is concerned. The shock of 9/11 has receded into the
background, and the failure of Bush's timid war policies in the Middle East
has cooled people of their "war fever" - a "war fever"
that swept through the country in the wake of 9/11 and what appeared at the
time to be an easy victory in Iraq.
And it's not just that: The people have gotten a closer look at the POLICE-STATE the Christian Right would like to see imposed on
the country, and they have recoiled from it - just as ordinary Germans
recoiled at the brutality the Nazis began employing in the country after
their election victory in the fall of 1930.
Indeed, all this has produced a backlash against the Christian Right, just
as it produced a similar backlash against the Nazis seventy years ago.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE FORCES AT WORK ...
There are, however, forces at work underneath the surface that - just as
they did in Germany seven decades ago - augur for a "RESURGENCE" of the Right – and this should be a cause
for concern for everyone who is tempted to relax.
FIRST,
as we have shown, the Center to which the Business Right thinks it can
retreat after de-coupling itself from the Religious Right no longer exists -
either in the Democratic Party or in the Republican Party.
PLAINLY, THE "CRAZIES" HAVE TAKEN
OVER, and while it might take some time
for the business elites to grasp this fact, they certainly will grasp it
after the Democrats win in the upcoming election. This will make the elites rethink
their "centrist" or “moderate” positions.
SECOND,
a Democratic victory in the 2008 election will mean that the Left will be
faced with a disaster in the Middle East; a disaster THEY CANNOT
AVOID, and a disaster for which they
will be blamed (Americans have very short memories in matters like this).
And what's particularly unfortunate for the Democrats
here is that they have no real plan to deal with this disaster. If they delay
in pulling the troops out, they will be blamed for the causalities that will
surely continue to multiply; and if they pull out precipitously, can there be
any doubt that the Islamic fundamentalists they have been battling will take
this as a sign of weakness, and will follow the Americans home, there to
wreak havoc on the "homeland?" - AND THAT'S ALL IT WOULD TAKE TO
DESTROY THE DEMOCRATS ONCE AND FOR ALL: ANOTHER 9/11 EVENT. [It could even provoke a military takeover of the
country.]
THIRD,
the time is now long past when military half-measures can secure the U.S. as
the world's great HEGEMON and
the guarantor of the American New World Order System. The United States must
either "fish or cut bait" here; it must either begin employing the FULL weight of its military power - including its
nuclear power - or begin the process of dismantling its empire once and for
all - something that would destroy forever the economic power of the elites,
at least the American elites.
It’s IDIOTIC,
however, to think that the American elites will choose to WITHDRAW
FROM EMPIRE: No elite has ever done so willingly
in the past, and it’s just plain STUPID to think that the U.S. elites will do so now. It’s, therefore, not
unreasonable to assume that - just as the German business elites did seventy
years ago, the American business elites, after coming to their senses, will
embrace the Religious Right again, EVEN IF IT MEANS THAT THEY MUST
DO SO AS "JUNIOR PARTNERS" IN SUCH AN ALLIANCE. This could not but portend very
serious consequences insofar as the nation is concerned - for it would augur
for the emergence of an UNRESTRAINED Hitler figure from the milieu of
the Religious Right.
Moreover, in choosing the Right, they (i.e., the
elites) would be choosing the only ones who could properly prosecute the
upcoming "wars of empire." And why is that? - because the kind of BRUTALITY and CRUELTY that will have to be employed in these wars can only be employed by RELIGIOUS
FANATICS who possess the psychological
wherewithal to believe they are carrying out their SAVAGERY in the name of God; the kind of people who can
say with Cubie Ward of Paralife Ministries:
"Killing for the joy of
it is wrong, but killing because it is necessary to fight against an
anti-Christ system ... is not only right, but the duty of every
Christian."
OR who - as the Contra forces did in Honduras and Nicaragua - sing hymns, speak
in tongues, and "praise God" while they killed and tortured their
adversaries.
OR when the pastors who worked with the Contras defended what their
"parishioners" were up to by insisting that -
"They don't massacre
people ... They massacre demons, and these people are demon possessed:
they're Communists ..."
FINALLY, and
very obviously, there are the social and cultural issues that a resurgent
Left will push in the country should they take the presidency and increase
their margins in both the House and the Senate - something that will surely
occur if Dobson and the Christian Right withhold their support from the
Republican ticket in 2008. All this, however, cannot help but boomerang on the Left because the real fact
of the matter is, the American people do NOT support abortion on demand, nor do they support
the total secularization of the country, nor gays in the military, nor
homosexual marriage, nor unrestricted immigration, etc. - despite the
"jerry-rigged" polls the Left uses to promote their positions on
these issues. PUSHING
THESE CULTURAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES IS EXACTLY WHAT TURNED THE GREAT MAJORITY OF
THE GERMAN PEOPLE AGAINST THE LEFT IN 1933.
These undercurrents, once they have taken their full measure on the
American public, cannot help but produce a BACKLASH against the Left that will sweep the Christian
Right into power again - much as the Nazis were swept into power in 1933, and
this time it will not be the result of some kind of ethereal "mood"
that produces this result, but a firm KNOWING (as it were) by the American people of what they
are getting themselves into.
PAY ATTENTION TO ME HERE ...
Now I cannot say that this is exactly what will happen. BUT SOMETHING
LIKE THIS IS BOUND TO OCCUR IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE. There
can be no doubt about it. That's what the Prophetic Scriptures declare; in
this respect, you must understand something here! -
IF you
agree with us that the United States is that great "BEAST
NATION" of Daniel 7:7 that the
Bible says will arise in the "end of days;" a nation that will be
"... DREADFUL"
and "TERRIBLE,"
and "STRONG EXCEEDINGLY" with "great iron teeth;" one that will "DEVOUR" and "BRAKE IN PIECES" the rest of the nations of the world
(Daniel 7:7),
And,
IF you
agree that this great entity will be a CHRISTO-POLITICAL state, the kind the Bible talks about in
Revelation 17; an amalgam of religious and political power that Dwight
Pentecost says will "fill the whole world,"
And,
Then -
The only question that remains
to be answered is how we get from here to there, and how fast this transition
will take place.
FINALLY ...
For this and many other reasons, you should take no comfort that we may
indeed be caught up in an "IN-BETWEEN TIME" politically; a time when it is tempting to believe, as the
German people did with regard to Hitler, that the imposition of a "CHRISTO-FASCIST" state has been put off for the foreseeable
future. The facts on the ground in the Middle East augur against that kind of
thinking. And more than that, this is the kind of thinking against which
Christ spoke in Matthew 24:42-51:
"WATCH therefore: FOR YE KNOW NOT WHAT HOUR
YOUR LORD DOTH COME.
"But know this, that if
the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he
would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
"Therefore be ye also
ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
"Who then is a faithful
and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give
them meat in due season?
"Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall
find so doing.
"Verily I say unto you,
That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
"But and if that evil
servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
"And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the
drunken;
"The lord of that servant
shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
"And shall cut him
asunder, and appoint him his portion
with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
(Matthew 24:42-51)
BROTHERS AND SISTERS, I URGE YOU ...
Brothers and sisters, I urge you with all of my heart to "BE ABOUT
YOUR LORD'S BUSINESS" in these last
days - "for you know not when your Lord will come."
And what exactly is the Lord's business today? – It is THE PROCLAMATION
OF THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM! [Please
see our article, "The Good News Of The Coming Kingdom."]
Christ is coming again, and this time He will set up a GLORIOUS kingdom grounded in social justice for ALL mankind, a world of equity where, as we have
suggested previously, men are not divided up between the "owners of
capital" on the one hand and "labor" on the other hand, and
where men and women are not divided up on the basis of their race or even their
gender (Gal. 3:28); where the rich do not oppress the poor; where every man
has equal access to God; where privileges cannot be bought by the wealthy;
where there are no death squads, no poverty, no torture, no hunger, no
disease, and no room for oppressors of any kind. [Please see our article,
"Capitalism and
Christianity."] THE POOR OF THE WORLD
NEED TO HEAR THIS; THEY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE GOSPEL BEING PROCLAIMED
BY TODAY'S AMERICAN CHURCH IS A RICH, WHITE MAN'S GOSPEL HAVING NOTHING TO DO
WITH CHRIST.
NOTE: Come on now! Very obviously, the coming kingdom
cannot help but be at TOTAL variance with the world we now live in and with the American New World Order
System that now prevails on the earth - especially the kind of world we
described in our recent article, "The Horror of John Dimitri Negroponte and everything He
Represents." [Please see that article plus our
article, "Algeria: A Study of the
Dreadful, Two-Tiered Economic System the U.S. Is Promoting Among Its Muslim
Client-States."]
Think about that! - a world
based on social justice where the rich do not oppress the poor? A world where
there are no John Dimitri Negropontes, no Liamine Zerouals and no Augusto
Pinochets? This, of course, is something much more than the "good
news" of salvation, because while the "good news" of salvation
promises redemption to the INDIVIDUAL, it does not promise to "make over" the world per se,
and this is evidenced by the fact that from Pentecost until now there has
been NO social justice and NO equity between and among men; tyranny and
oppression have continued to flourish; and sickness, poverty and hunger have
continued to wreak their horrible work on mankind.
YOU NEED TO MAKE THE PROCLAMATION OF THIS GOSPEL YOUR BUSINESS
TODAY, so that on THAT day, you will hear the Lord say:
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful
over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into
the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:21)
A "place of joy" where the Bible says:
"Eye hath not seen, nor
ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God
hath prepared for them that love him." (I Cor. 2:9)
To this end, WE URGE YOU TO SIGN UP FOR OUR TRAINING - AND TO DO IT NOW - you will never regret it.
God bless you all,

Antipas Ministries
P.S. WE CONTINUE TO NEED
YOUR FINANCIAL HELP, even though we are
no longer in Canada. The needs of the ministry are very great at this time,
especially as we begin to transition the ministry out of North America to
Germany - an effort that will take a great deal of time and money.
Unfortunately, however, the
giving to the ministry has almost dried up - as if our financial need had
been connected to Canada, and now that we are no longer there, we don't need
outside help. If you are laboring under this false assumption, then I urge
you to disassociate yourself from it. The needs of the ministry are very
great, and the present-day giving to the ministry has diminished to the
vanishing point even though our readers have greatly increased.
So I say to you, if the spiritual treasures that we have ministered unto you have profited you, then please
respond with your material treasures. As Paul said under similar
circumstances so many years ago:
"IF WE HAVE SOWN UNTO
YOU SPIRITUAL THINGS, IS IT A GREAT THING IF WE SH ALL REAP YOUR CARNAL
(MATERIAL) THINGS?" (1 Cor. 9:11)
We need your help to spread the word concerning Antipas Ministries and the
eschatological viewpoint it represents; WE NEED YOUR
HELP BECAUSE WE DO NOT "LINK" WITH OTHER SO-CALLED "CHRISTIAN"
WEBSITES which are, for the most part, "in the tank"
insofar as their loyalty to the United States is concerned
- a loyalty that has made them partners in the BLOODY
trail the American military has left in its TERROR-RIDDEN
rampage throughout the world, as well as making them partners
in the abject poverty that American corporations have
imposed on the peoples and nations the American military
machine has ravaged - A BLOODY, TERROR-RIDDEN RAMPAGE
THAT HAS TO A LARGE DEGREE BEEN CARRIED OUT IN THE NAME
OF THE "PRINCE OF PEACE." [Please see our articles,
"The Third World
as a Model for the New World Order," Inside
the American New World Order System" and "The
American Empire: The Corporate / Pentagon / CIA / Missionary
Archipelago."]
