McCAIN & PALIN:
THE BUSINESS RIGHT MARRIES
THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT

INTRODUCTION

All indicators point to an Obama win and substantial Democratic gains in the Congress and state legislatures come November, and so much so that the Democratic Party could win 60 seats in the Senate, guaranteeing them total control of not only the Senate, but Congress as well - something that really hasn't happened since FDR did it in the 1932 election.

According to Lance Selfa, one has only to consider the landscape that they (i.e., the Democrats and Obama) will confront in November to understand why: An opponent running as heir to an unpopular president, an economy in a deep recession, and a war in Iraq. Selfa writes:

"At bottom, Obama has the same forces working in his favor that Ronald Reagan had in 1980 and that Bill Clinton had in 1992. In those years, recessions and/or unpopular overseas entanglements associated with the White House incumbents made Reagan's and Clinton's messages of 'change' resonate in an electorate ready to 'throw the bums out' of the White House. While McCain isn't officially the incumbent in 2008, he has spent his entire candidacy trying to prove that he will be a loyal custodian of George W. Bush's most disastrous policies."

As a result, the elites have been shifting their support away from the Republican Party to the Democrats, and the degree to which this has been going on is staggering. Throughout the primary season, Obama and Clinton each regularly raised more money than any single Republican candidate. As of June 30, Obama had raised a total of $339 million in the 2008 election cycle, compared to McCain's $145 million. And Obama held a 2-to-1 advantage over McCain in "cash on hand" - and this division of the "goodies" has only become more accentuated in recent months. Of the thirteen leading industrial sectors whose political contributions the Center for Responsive Politics tracks, the Republicans led the Democrats in only three (agribusiness, energy, and construction). Even the corporate doyen of neoliberal economics, Wal-Mart, has shifted its contributions from almost 95 percent for Republicans to a near fifty-fifty split between the parties.

The Obama campaign, of course, insists that the money that has been flowing into their coffers is coming from a myriad of small contributors; but according to Selfa, the big money that is really funding Obama's campaign comes from corporate "bundlers" who round up $2,300-maximum contributions from as many of their management colleagues as possible. Under pressure from the New York Times, Obama disclosed in July that he has more than 500 individuals committed to raising at least $50,000 for him, with 178 of them committed to raising at least $200,000 each. This flood of corporate money assures that Obama's agenda won't stray too far from economic orthodoxy.

THE ELITES PREFER THE REPUBLICANS,
BUT THEY CAN LIVE WITH THE DEMOCRATS

It isn't as if the elites wouldn't prefer the Republicans to win in November, but - given the fact that they are able under most circumstances to control the Democrats as well as the Republicans - they think that they can live with an Obama presidency.  Selfa writes:

"Obama's rhetoric in the Democratic primaries-crafted with the more liberal Democratic primary voter in mind-evoked images of mass movements for social change throughout U.S. history. He sought, very skillfully and consciously, to cloak himself in the legitimacy of struggles for the right to vote, the eight-hour day, and civil rights for the oppressed. But when one looked beyond his inspirational rhetoric, it was often hard to pin down exactly where he stood on crucial questions ... Since Obama began to assume the position as 'president-in-waiting', he has made much clearer where he stands on a number of important issues. And in doing so, he is showing that while marketing himself as a candidate of change, he is assuring the movers and shakers of American politics that he is committed to a status quo hardly different from what we have known at least since the end of the Cold War."

NOTE: Needless to say, the elites who are shifting their support to Obama are betting on the probability that he - once in office - won't become a "captive" of the left-wing of the Democratic Party the way FDR did once he got in office: FDR started out in his political career as a patrician, but ended up as a populist. The very real fact of the matter is, as Selfa explains,

"The Democrats are [as much a party of the elites as are the Republicans] ... The differences that separate the Democrats and Republicans are minor in comparison to the fundamental commitments that unite them. To be sure, if there weren't differences between the two parties, there would be no justification for a two-party system. But for Corporate America, the two-party system plays an essential role. IF ONE PARTY FALLS OUT OF FAVOR WITH THE VOTERS, THERE'S ALWAYS THE OTHER ONE - WITH PREDICTABLE [ECONOMIC] POLICIES - WAITING IN THE WINGS."

NOTE: The very real fact of the matter is, the well-known struggle between Democrats and Republicans is one that can be characterized by dramatic posturing and pulled punches. The ruse is instantly apparent to anyone with even a casual interest in US politics. It continues due only to the vast amount of voter ignorance and apathy. The apathy exists for good reason - politics are as exciting now as comparing the respective market strategies of Coke and Pepsi. There is nothing new being said, nothing creative being done - just endless reverberations in an echo chamber.

Democrats and Republicans pay attention solely to their differences, and the media outlets and general public willingly follow suit. The real issues that divide the two parties are minuscule, but this fact is covered over because both emphasize so-called "wedge" issue, and in doing so emphasize those things that divide them while obscuring their similarities - similarities that ensure the continuing dominance of the nation by the elites.

This tactic is highly effective. If you believe in wedge issue A, then you must be with the A-believers. But the A-believers also come with baggage loaded up by the elites that have nothing to do with wedge issue A. For example, What does abortion have to do with an unregulated market? What does global warming have to do with labor unions? But if you are going to support A, you must also support B, C, and D - all of which are issues that ensure the survival of elite power. Whether you vote for a Republican or a Democrat, you're voting for the same thing - the perpetuation of the elite's monopoly of the country's economic and political system. THE REPUBLICANS REFUSE TO
GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT

However, the bureaucracy of the Republican Party as well as the party's core constituencies (i.e., the Religious Right and the "Patriotic Right") are not ready to go quietly into "that dark night." And they have an ally in their desire not to step aside for Obama: Major elements of the oil lobby who are heavily "invested" in the Middle East and Central Asia and are not willing to risk their investments to the "soft" diplomacy that Obama is peddling. Together they conspired with McCain - who himself is not ready to be a "throw-away" candidate for the elites the way that Bob Dole was vis-à-vis Bill Clinton in 1996 and turned in a direction that most pundits never thought they would: they turned to the social conservative-wing of the Religious Right - a faction that McCain has historically "dissed" - and chose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as McCain's running mate.

NOTE: The social conservative-wing of the Religious Right (that segment of the Religious Right that gathers itself around people such as James Dobson and groups such as the Traditional Values Coalition) is to be differentiated from the "Zionist-wing" of the Religious Right (that portion of the Religious Right that centers itself around such groups as CUFI and such Religious Right leaders as John Hagee, Rod Parsley and George Morrison. The "Zionist-wing" of the Religious Right has always been in McCain's camp; but the social conservative-wing has been adamantly opposed to McCain - and so much so that James Dobson was heard to make the statement, "I will not vote for McCain under any circumstances." McCain's pick of Sarah Palin has changed everything insofar as the social conservatives are concerned; indeed, James Dobson, upon hearing of McCain's choice of Palin as his running mate, issued the following statement:

"Sen. McCain's selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is an outstanding choice that should be extremely reassuring to the conservative base of his party. She is a strong executive who hates corruption and puts principle above politics.  After floating the names of Tom Ridge and Sen. Joe Lieberman in recent weeks - selections that would have created consternation among pro-family Republicans - Sen. McCain has chosen a solid conservative who has a reputation for espousing common sense.

"Gov. Palin's commitment to the sanctity of life is not just a political position. She was advised to abort her fifth and youngest child when it was learned he had Down syndrome. She refused. That's bravery and integrity in action.

"Gov. Palin's views align with Sen. McCain's own stated position that human life is precious and must be protected - and that gives us confidence he will keep his pledges to voters regarding the kinds of justices he would nominate to the Supreme Court and the way he would conduct our nation's domestic and international affairs.  This selection by Sen. McCain is a very encouraging sign for his campaign."

McCAIN'S PICK OF PALIN MAKES HIM COMPETITIVE
WITH OBAMA IN A SITUATION THAT SHOULD CRUSH HIM

McCain's pick of Palin as his running mate has made McCain at least somewhat competitive with Obama in circumstances that should otherwise CRUSH both Republicans and McCain; indeed, for a while McCain even pulled 2-5 points ahead of Obama in the popular vote before sinking once again 5 to 11 points below Obama (depending on which poll one watches) as the economic meltdown has continued to unwind. And despite his low numbers vis a vis Obama and Biden, when Palin and McCain appear jointly they are drawing more enthusiasm and larger audiences than are their Democratic counterparts. One newspaper in Cedar Rapids describes the Palin phenomenon:

"Cedar Rapids, Ia. - One must witness the Sarah Palin spectacle in person, because this clearly isn't something you can appreciate by staring at a couple of clips on the 10 o'clock news. This is the woman New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd called 'Napoleon in bunny boots' ... On Thursday, the woman who turned a sure-fire Barack Obama election sweep into a nail-chewer came to Iowa. Along with some smiling white-haired guy, name of John McCain. Yeah, yeah, some of the 4,000 or so Iowans who jammed a Cedar Rapids campaign rally wanted to hear what the Republican presidential candidate had to say about this and that. But don't kid yourself. This was a 'see Sarah' crowd. These people are the ones who have truly flummoxed the political opposition and media. Rubes, these folks are called. Uneducated dopes who can't grasp the fact the governor of Alaska is not qualified - is not fit - to be vice president.

"'She juggles the family and her profession', said Bethany, 24. 'She really impresses me'. McCain and Palin spoke in an airport hangar. The crowd spilled well outside, where it was hard to see or hear the candidates. Kids were everywhere, sprawled on the concrete with their coloring books, chasing one another in circles and plastering McCain/Palin stickers on their shirts. The tarmac looked like a day care center. Some were too young for school. Some parents pulled their kids from classes to be here.

"The critics don't understand the excitement, and it's driving them crazy. It's why Palin scares the fluff out of every last one of them."

MAKING CLEAR THE HELLISH NATURE OF THE
BUSINESS RIGHT / CHRISTIAN RIGHT ALLIANCE

The McCain / Palin ticket, however, makes clear the HELLISH nature of the Christian Right / Business Right alliance. Concerning the corrupt and very wicked nature of this alliance, I wrote back in 1995:

"Evangelicals who are predisposed to think in terms of 'conspiracies' - who lend credit to the whispered hypothesis of those who ascribe everything that's wrong with America to the 'Secular-Humanist Conspiracy' or to the 'Illuminist Plot' might do well to ponder the thought that the 'conspirators' may be closer to them than they might realize - that they may constitute the very people with whom they have allied themselves in their battle against secular-humanism: specifically, their own business allies (men like Nelson Bunker Hunt, J. Howard Pew, Wallace Johnson, Richard De Voss, John Talcott, etc. and companies like Colgate-Palmolive, Ocean Spray, Amway, Hunt Oil, National Liberty Insurance Corporation, etc.). That it's not some nefarious 'outside' conspiracy shrouded in impenetrable mist and unfathomable secrecy which is at the root of their misery, but an 'inside conspiracy' which they themselves have helped to organize!

"Possibly, just possibly, it's not the Tri-Lateral Commission and/or the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) that evangelicals should be concerned about, as it is their very own Council on National Policy (CNP) - an elite conservative group founded by Tim LaHaye, Pat Robertson, Joseph Coors, and Nelson Bunker Hunt which brings together influential right-wing business figures, religious leaders and political luminaries to affect conservative political, social and cultural change in the country, a group clearly formed in combination with their own leaders! "Now that would be a deception worth noting!

"And just how pervasive the alliance between the rich on the one hand, and the church on the other, has become can be measured by the harsh new attitude towards the poor manifested today by so many evangelicals - an attitude which ascribes poverty to 'laziness' and 'individual failure'; while such an attitude is not at all reflective of Christ's attitude towards the poor, it certainly reflects the historic attitude of the rich. Evangelicals have somewhere along the line forgotten what Christ said about the poor vis a vis the rich: 'And He lifted up His eyes on His disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God ...' And again He said, 'Blessed are ye that hunger: for ye shall be filled ...' (Luke 6:20-21) But unto the rich He said, Woe unto you that are rich! (Luke 6:24) And again He said that it was easier for a camel to get through the eye of a sewing needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God (Mark 10:25).

"In attributing poverty to 'laziness' and 'individual failure', evangelicals have unwittingly bought into the arguments of their elite 'business allies' - allies which have ostensibly joined them in their struggle to 'return America to Christ and the church'. But what evangelicals have evidently not fathomed is the fact that much of the poverty which has developed in the country since 1972 is directly attributable to the 'free trade' (and, ipso facto, anti-union) policies and practices of their own business backers - phony 'supporters' who, on the one hand, financially aid the ministries and churches of their evangelical allies, while on the other hand they mercilessly ship American jobs (many of which are held by rank-and-file evangelicals) overseas to Third World sweat shops. Maybe the next time evangelicals hear of large sums of money pouring into their churches and/or ministries from wealthy benefactors, they might do well to ask themselves what all this money is purchasing? What deals - implied or otherwise - might have been struck? What kind of silence on the part of their leaders this money might be buying?

"People make a big mistake in believing that such 'gift giving' does not create obligations - implied or explicit; that, in the end, it does not create dependence." [Please see our article, "The Business Right and the Religious Right: An Alliance Made in Hell."]

FROM ALL APPEARANCES,
PALIN IS A REAL CHRISTIAN

From all appearances, Palin is a genuine Christian; but she has been duped by the brand of pseudo-Christianity popularized by people such as Rick Joyner, George Otis, Paul Crouch, Jack Hayford, Charles Stanley, D. James Kennedy, Tim LaHaye, the late John Wimber, Juan Carlos Ortiz, C. Peter Wagner, Beverley LaHaye, Ern Baxter, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Oral Roberts, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Chuck Colson, Robert Stearns, Mike Bickle, Reuven Doron, Che Ahn, Frank Hammond, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, John Eckhardt, Bobbie Byerly, Dutch Sheets, Jim Goll, John Paul Jackson, James Ryle, Frank Damazio, Ed Silvoso, Carlos Annacondia, Claudio Freidzon, Roger Mitchell, Ted Haggart, Paul Cain, Chuck Pierce, Kingsley Fletcher, Jim Laffoon, Barbara Wentroble, and Jews for Jesus leader David Brickner  ad infinitum.

THE WARPED CHRISTIANITY
WITH WHICH PALIN IS INVOLVED

All of these people subscribe to a warped but very seductive kind of Christianity that postulates that Christians have been called to transcend the bonds of humanity and become gods; these are the Supermen of the New World Order: "Master's of the Faith!" "Manifest Sons of God!" The "Manchild Company!" The "First Fruits!" "Joel's Army!" The "Overcomers!" - "GOD-MEN" who, as Paul Cain says, will be able to walk through walls just as Jesus did (cf. John 20:19-29):

"So my point is this, that there will be a manifestation of the sons and daughters of God. And it won't be this baloney that we've heard of in the past; I mean, there's been a few people tried to walk through a wall like this over here and knocked their brains loose, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about a manifested son of God; if anyone walks through this wall over here, they're not going to tell you about it - I mean, they're just going to do it. And sons of God don't tell you they're sons of God, they'll just show you! Amen."

NOTE: And one should be very careful here in dismissing Cain because he appears to be somewhat simple-minded; that's what millions of Germans did with regard to the "seers" and "prophets" of Hitlerism - and they lived to regret it. CHRISTIANS ARE CALLED TO CONQUER
THE EARTH DEATH SQUAD-STYLE

This "New Breed" of Christians (another term in vogue in describing the "New Christians" of America's New World Order System - a term used specifically by Hitler in the description of his "NEW MAN") become "Kings in Life" and the "Bondage Breakers" for the rest of the human race; they are able to move in and out of the supernatural and natural realms. These are the "GOD-MEN" whom God has appointed to conquer and subdue the world; THESE ARE THE ONES WHO HAVE BEEN GIVEN AUTHORITY TO CLEANSE THE EARTH OF "EVIL-DOERS" and usher in the "Kingdom of God." [Please see our article, "Today's Church: Making Zombies out of Christians - the Prophets and Apostles Movement."]

Is that what God is doing? - raising up an army in these last days to execute JUDGMENT and DOMINION throughout the earth? That's what the "seers" and "prophets" of America's New World Order System are saying. The question is asked of American Christians (Christians outside America's borders need not apply for membership in this brotherhood), Don't YOU want to be a part of it? Don't you want to be deemed worthy to wield the EXECUTIONER'S SWORD with the "CHOSEN OF GOD?" That's certainly what the SS was called upon to do. That's certainly what Reichsfuhrer SS Heinrich Himmler believed the SS was called to do:

"We shall unremittingly fulfill our task ... We shall take care that never more in Germany will [goodness] ... be threatened by evil. Pitilessly we shall be a merciless EXECUTIONER'S SWORD for ... [the sake of good people everywhere]."

And that's pretty much what the "prophets" and "apostles" of America's New World Order System feel that their "Son of Man Company" - their "New Breed of Christians" - are called upon to accomplish as well. Jack Deere writes:

"When this army [of Christian supermen] comes, it will be large and mighty. It's so mighty that there's never been anything like it before ... 'BEGIN THE SLAUGHTER' [of evil-doers] ... And they walk through the land and they start and they begin to slaughter ..." [Please see our article, "A Woman Riding a Beast Going forth Conquering and to Conquer."]

MARRYING INTO THE "MOB"

NOW WHEN ONE LINKS THIS KIND OF CHRISTIANITY TO THE "MOB" ETHICS INTO WHICH McCAIN HAS MARRIED, ONE CREATES A NIGHTMARE THAT IS ALMOST BEYOND COMPREHENSION. And make no mistake about it, that's what we're getting in the McCain / Palin alliance, which is far, far worse than Obama's connection to Bill Ayers - and one should note here that while Obama's connection to Ayers is somewhat contrived, McCain's connection to the "mob" is significant and very substantial.

You've never heard of McCain's links to the "mob?" - well, they're real; they're very real indeed. And one begins to appreciate this fact from a birthday card that McCain sent to Joe Bonanno several years ago.

In 1995, McCain sent a birthday card to Joseph "Joe Bananas" Bonanno, the head of the New York Bonanno crime family. The Bonanno crime family is one of the "Five Families" (specifically, the Bonannos, the Gambinos, the Colombos, the Genoveses and the Luccheses) that control organized crime in New York City, and nationwide as La Cosa Nostra (the Mafia).

What? - why would McCain do that? Was it just a fluke? - a birthday greeting generated by a computer?

No! - it was handwritten! And not only that, it seems that the Bonanno family has been a "big giver" to John McCain over the years; indeed, at least five members of the Bonanno crime family have made very generous contributions to McCain's current presidential campaign.  What's going on?

WHAT'S GOING ON?

What's going on is this! - McCain purposefully and very, very deliberately stoked a relationship with the Bonanno Crime family when  - in the early 1980s - he allied himself with the Hensleys of Phoenix, Arizona. And make no mistake about it, it is no secret in Phoenix that the Hensleys are "mob-connected" - and to believe that McCain missed that point when he associated himself with the Hensleys is tantamount to believing in the "tooth fairy."

It seems that shortly after his release from the "Hanoi Hilton" in 1975, McCain was introduced into the world of politics. He was a hero - and the nation needed heroes; as a result, politicians - especially right-wing politicians - scrambled to be seen with him. Taking advantage of McCain's popularity as a war hero, the navy gave him a plumb assignment as its liaison to the U.S. Senate. It was this assignment that began whetting his appetite for more. Unfortunately, his new assignment - at best - left him as an "outsider" looking in; a "flunky" running errands for Washington's powerbrokers. McCain desperately wanted "in," but being a politician in today's world is a rich man's game, and he didn't have the money to get "in."

That all changed, however, on a trip he made to Honolulu where he met Cindy Hensley at a party. He was in Hawaii on navy business; she was there on a vacation - and it didn't take long for McCain to "lock on" to her with the kind of single-minded calculation that only a fighter-pilot has. She became a rich "target of opportunity" insofar as McCain's political ambitions were concerned. She was not only beautiful, but she was the daughter of a wealthy, well-connected "businessman" from a state - i.e., Arizona - that seemed to offer opportunities to someone with McCain's emerging political ambitions.

After plying Cindy with his charms and "bedding" her for almost a year behind the back of his first wife, Carol, McCain cynically divorced Carol in February 1980, and shortly thereafter married into the Hensley fortune. 

NOTE: After McCain was released as a P.O.W. in March 1973, and returned to the U.S., he told friends that Carol was not the woman he had married - she had "turned ugly" as a result of a car crash she had been involved in on Christmas Eve 1969. She suffered severe facial lacerations, broke both legs, an arm and her pelvis. She was operated on a dozen times, and in the treatment she lost about 5 inches in height.

McCain divorced Carol - a woman who had faithfully stood by him throughout his long ordeal in the "Hanoi Hilton" - with the same kind of cold-heartedness that Newt Gingrich divorced his first wife for "... not being young enough or pretty enough to be the president's wife." [Gingrich served papers on his wife while she was in the hospital recovering from surgery for uterine cancer; he appeared at her bedside with a yellow legal pad outlining the details for their divorce.

McCAIN TAPS INTO "MOB" MONEY

It didn't take long after that for McCain to begin using the Hensley fortune to fuel his political ambitions. In 1982 longtime U.S. Representative John Rhodes announced his retirement, leaving McCain a clear shot at the state's 1st Congressional District, which includes Tempe, Mesa and parts of east Phoenix. Even before Rhodes made his official announcement, the McCains had found a new home in Tempe.

The 1982 Republican primary was crowded. McCain deftly deflected the "carpetbagger" label by noting that as a "Navy brat," he'd never lived in one place longer than the five and a half years he spent in Vietnamese prison camps. His friendship with Arizona Republic and Phoenix Gazette publisher Darrow "Duke" Tully gave McCain a free platform to deliver his campaign messages via a series of columns that appeared in the Gazette. Tully was enamored of McCain's fighter-pilot experience. However, it wasn't so much his heroic story and free positive press that got him elected as it was his father-in-law's money. 

McCain easily won reelection in 1984, and when Senator Barry Goldwater announced his retirement in 1986 McCain was the perfect candidate to succeed the straight-talking Goldwater, who was also a retired military pilot. McCain jumped for - and won - Goldwater's Senate seat. The Hensley fortune was paying big dividends for McCain - AND ONE SHOULD BE VERY CLEAR HERE: THAT HAD BEEN HIS SOLE PURPOSE IN MARRYING CINDY.

NOTE: The proof of the pudding here is the way McCain habitually treats Cindy "off camera." Take just one example: Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, told journalist Cliff Schecter about an incident that occurred in 1992: McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "AT LEAST I DON'T PLASTER ON THE MAKEUP LIKE A TROLLOP, YOU CUNT." Hardly the words one would expect from a loving husband. [I use this word knowing that I will be criticized for doing so; but one cannot experience the full depth of McCain's disdainful attitude towards Cindy by pulling punches here. It's the money, not Cindy, that McCain married - make no mistake about it.]

ARIZONA AND LA COSA NOSTRA

McCain's adopted state of Arizona has a long connection to the "mob," a connection which a story that ran on June 7, 2001, in the Arizona Republic traced back to a time when Joe Bonanno (the same Joe Bonanno to whom McCain sent a hand-written birthday card in 1995) headed up the five member-"commission" that ruled the "goings-on" of La Cosa Nostra. The article stated:

"When it comes to La Cosa Nostra, Arizona has had an interesting history dealing with this subject. Most of this information was provided to me [i.e., the author] by various people I have spoken with, books I have read, newspaper article archives I have looked for on microfilm, and or notes acquired from the Freedom of Information Act. If you are real serious, I recommend you all read the book called The Arizona Project which you can find on Amazon.com very easily ...

"Various law enforcement officials have told me that many 'wiseguys' consider Arizona and Phoenix a 'haven' ... I have been getting A LOT of e-mails from un-named sources and different people that Arizona is also a hot bed for people in the Federal Witness Protection program when it comes to figures dealing with La Cosa Nostra ..."

The article continues:

"In 1946, Pete Licavoli, the Arizona mob boss, operating under the mandate of the Bonanno crime family, opened an illegal gambling wire service with Kemper Marley Sr., the wealthiest liquor distributor in the state. [Marley was a close associate of the Hensley family, the family into which McCain married in order to jump-start his political career.]

"Licavoli purchased the Grace Ranch ... on Wrightson Road near the Rincon Mountains. Licavoli's Grace Ranch became the meeting spot for the syndicate (i.e., "the Mob") with high powered figures like Tony Mirabile, Anthony Accardo, Sam Giancana, Paul Ricca, Moe Dalitz ... visiting at one time or another."

JIM HENSLEY, KEMPER MARLEY,
GUS GREENBAUM AND BUGSY SIEGEL

Kemper Marley was a frequent visitor to the ranch. Jim Hensley (Cindy McCain's father) accompanied Marley to the ranch on many occasions. Hensley worked for Marley as a wholesale distributor of mob liquor in the Southwest.

Marley got his start with "the Mob" as a bookie for the Transamerica Wire Service, a betting service established by Mafiosi Gus Greenbaum, who was murdered with his wife when their throats were slashed in bed in 1958.

NOTE: Gus Greenbaum, an associate of Meyer Lansky, joined Lansky's organization on New York's Lower East Side sometime during the mid to late 1910s. During Prohibition, Greenbaum began working with the Chicago Outfit managing the southwest division of the Trans-America race wire service in 1928. Sent to Las Vegas shortly after WWII, Greenbaum gained control over syndicate gambling operations, with Morris Rosen and Moe Sedway. With Sedway, Greenbaum ran the El Cortez in 1945 until he was asked by William R. Wilkerson to manage casino operations for the famed Flamingo Hotel. In 1946, Bugsy Siegel took over construction and creative control of the Flamingo up until it was shut down in January 1947 due to mounting casino losses.

After Siegel's death, Greenbaum brought the struggling casino out of debt within several months, eventually controlling several other syndicate casinos and bookmaking operations in Arizona within several years. As a leading syndicate leader in Las Vegas, Greenbaum would later order the deaths of Tony Brancato and Tony Tombino for robbing a syndicate hotel. Shortly after becoming manager of the Riviera Hotel, Greenbaum's excessive gambling, womanizing, and drug habits eventually caused him to begin skimming from casino operations. However, his embezzlement was soon discovered by the Chicago syndicate, and on December 3, 1958, both he and his wife were found in their Phoenix home with their throats slashed.

As we indicated above, Hensley got his start running illegal "mob booze" for Marley, for which he did a stint in prison in the early 1950s. Hensley dutifully went to prison without implicating Kemper. When Hensley got out of prison, Kemper awarded him with a lucrative Phoenix-based Budweiser beer distributorship. That distributorship and the rest of Marley's empire did very well over the decades for both Hensley and Marley, making both men multi-millionaires.

In 1976, then Gov. Raul Castro appointed Marley, then a BILLIONAIRE and the state's richest man, to the state racing commission. This opened new horizons for both Marley and his "UNDERBOSS," JIM HENSLEY. According to the story in the Arizona Republic, that's when -

"... one of those pesky investigative reporters got in the way. The reporter's name was Don Bolles ... Bolles discovered ... that Kemper Marley [and ipso facto, Jim Hensley (again, McCain's father-n-law)] ... had connections to the Mafia and Bugsy Siegel."

NOTE: Mobster Bugsy Siegel was celebrated in the movie Bugsy, directed by Barry Levinson, and starring Warren Beatty and Annette Bening. Siegel, it is said, is the man who got the "mob" entrenched in Las Vegas (see note above).

The report continues:

"Marley ... served as Chairman of the Board for Valley National Bank, which helped bankroll Bugsy Siegel's construction of the Flamingo in Las Vegas. Digging into Marley's past also uncovered his earlier work for Gus Greenbaum. The revelations forced Marley to resign from the commission.

ONE DOESN'T FOOL AROUND WITH THE HENSLEYS
AND THOSE ASSCOIATED WITH THE HENSELYS

Kemper Marley and Jim Hensley, however, weren't people in whose business you interfered cavalierly: On June 2, 1976, Bolles climbed into his car and was blown apart by a bomb under the driver's seat. Pieces of his body were strewn around the parking lot. Bolles amazingly survived for eleven days and said to investigators on the scene, "They finally got me. The Mafia. Emprise. Find John (Harvey) Adamson."

NOTE: Emprise Corp., a Buffalo, N.Y. company with a far-flung sports empire which once included ownership of the Boston Bruins hockey team and the former Cincinnati Royals basketball franchise . . . is now known as Delaware North Cos. Emprise was convicted in 1972 of a federal charge of conspiring to hide Mafia interest in a Las Vegas, Nev., casino . . . Emprise and the Funk family - another Mafia family joined at the hip with both the Hensleys and Kemper - were partners in six dog-racing tracks in the state and the Prescott Downs horse track, and Bolles had ripped their operations in print." Arizona Business Gazette - January 5, 1990.

The Funk family and John Adamson were directly tied to the Bolles assassination; and behind them stood Marley and Hensley.

The murder of Don Bolles is typical of the "goings-on" of the crowd that the Hensley family runs with. The killings go on and on and include the murder of such Mafia-connected "wise-guys" as William Nelson (Willie Bioff, a former Capone henchman), the Greenbaums (see note above), Peter Notaro and his wife and daughter, Charles J. "Batts" Battaglia, Tony Spilotro (who is best known as the character portrayed by Joe Pesci in Casino as "Nicky Santoro"), Paul "the Indian" Schiro, Jack Tocco, Louis "the Bomb" Bombacino, Henry Hill (who is best known as the character played by Ray Liotta in Goodfellas),  ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

THIS IS A ROUGH CROWD

This is a rough crowd that McCain has associated himself with - and so much so that Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi has said of McCain:

"The thought of McCain being president sends a cold chill down my spine."

And this is the crowd with whom Palin and her "people" (i.e., Rick Joyner, George Otis, Paul Crouch, Jack Hayford, Charles Stanley, D. James Kennedy, Tim LaHaye, the late John Wimber, Juan Carlos Ortiz, C. Peter Wagner, Beverley LaHaye, Ern Baxter, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Oral Roberts, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Chuck Colson, Robert Stearns, Mike Bickle, Reuven Doron, Che Ahn, Frank Hammond, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, John Eckhardt, Bobbie Byerly, Dutch Sheets, Jim Goll, John Paul Jackson, James Ryle, Frank Damazio, Ed Silvoso, Carlos Annacondia, Claudio Freidzon, Roger Mitchell, Ted Haggart, Paul Cain, Chuck Pierce, Kingsley Fletcher, Jim Laffoon, Barbara Wentroble, and Jews for Jesus leader David Brickner  ad infinitum) plan to take the country back for "Christ and the church," and cleanse the earth of evil doers?

CLEANSING THE EARTH OF EVIL-DOERS

That's what Francis Frangipane (one of Palin's religious mentors) intends to do; he somberly warns all those who oppose the American New World Order System, those who oppose the effort by the American church to cleanse the world of evil-doers, that -

"... there's going to be a CLEANSING ... there's going to be a PURGING ... coming forth ... and everyone that's living under the immorality cover ... will be brought down ..." [Please see our article, "The Watchers are Watching You."]

And, oh my, doesn't the earth need to be cleansed? That's certainly what the leaders of today's church believe - cleansed of the homosexuals, the abortionists, the Hollywood liberals, the radical feminists, the atheists, the "New Agers," the drug users, the ner-do-wells, the single moms, the welfare cheats, the unbelievers (e.g., unrepentant Muslims, Hindus, etc.), etc.! - all those living under the "immorality cover." For whatever reason, however, that "cleansing" does not seem to extend to the Mafioso

IT IS EXACTLY IN THIS LIGHT THAT ONE MUST UNDERSTAND PALIN'S PRAYER IN HER HOME CHURCH IN WASILLIA:

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God  ..."

BLACKS WILL RIOT IF OBAMA LOSES

The chances for a McCain / Palin victory right now, however, are pretty slim, and so much so that, according to conservative talk-show host Dennis Prager, liberals are warning America that if Barack Obama loses, it is because the polls were rigged and Americans are racist. As a result, according to Prager, should McCain win, it will generate "a rage in the liberal and minority communities the likes of which America has not seen in a long time, if ever. 

Again, according to Prager, the deep emotional connection that nearly every black American has to an Obama victory is difficult for even empathetic non-blacks to measure. Prager goes on to say:

"A major evangelical pastor told me that even evangelical black pastors who share every conservative value with white evangelical pastors, including pro-life views on abortion, will vote for Obama. They feel their very dignity is on the line. That is why the growing chorus -- already nearing unanimity -- of liberal commentators and politicians ascribing an Obama loss to American racism [and rigged voting] is so dangerous."

Andrew Sullivan, a liberal, writing in The Atlantic Magazine, says:

"White racism means that Obama needs more than a small but clear lead to win."

Jack Cafferty of CNN says:

"The polls remain close. Doesn't make sense ... unless it's race."

Jacob Weisberg of Newsweek and Slate:

"If Obama loses, our children will grow up thinking of equal opportunity as a myth."

Nicholas D. Kristof of the New York Times writes:

"Religious prejudice (against Obama) is becoming a proxy for racial prejudice."

Gerald W. McEntee, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, in a speech to union workers, said:

"Are you going to give up your house and your job and your children's futures because he's black?"

Prager goes on to report that -

"One executive at a black radio station told me when I interviewed him on my radio show at the Democratic National Convention that he could easily see riots if Obama loses ..."

THE McCAIN / PALIN TICKET IS
AN INDICATOR OF THINGS TO COME

It isn't black rage, however, that we should be concerned with here, but white rage; and it isn't a win in November for Obama that should concern us, but a white reaction in the next presidential election - the election of 2012.

And why is that?  Because THE McCAIN / PALIN MATCHUP IN THE ELECTION OF 2008 INDICATES THAT THE BUSINESS RIGHT IS NOW WILLING TO BRING IN THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT AS A "FULL PARTNER" IN GOVERNING THE NATION, and that coupled with the inevitable results of an Obama victory in three weeks - specifically, demands from the black and Hispanic caucuses that Obama will find almost impossible to resist, (demands that the country's white majority will find exceedingly offensive), demonstrations with Mexican flags in the streets of cities throughout the country where large Hispanic populations are to be found; demands from feminists calling for the abrogation of all restrictions on abortions, demands from the homosexual community that aim at the full legalization of homosexual marriage and the participation of open gays in the armed forces, and on and on and on.

All of this, coupled with a "soft," internationalist foreign policy, an upsurge of violence against the American New World Order System like the kind that America suffered through during the Carter administration, etc. - ALL THIS COULD PRESAGE A BRUTAL REACTION FROM AMERICA'S WHITE COMMUNITY, AND GOD HELP ALL THOSE WHO GET IN THE WAY OF THIS REACTION.

However, before one participates in this kind of rage, he would do well to remember what the psalmist says:

"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

"The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

"Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

"He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

"Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

"Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

"I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

"Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel." (Psalm 2:1-9)
